Synergy Cheat Sheet

Hello, one of the less documented but still significant aspects of the game tends to be the synergy bonuses. So I decided to write them down mostly for my own benefit since I keep forgetting which are good enough to justify picking up otherwise mediocre relics.

Hello,

The following is intended to be a quick and dirty reference to what synergy each of the icons corresponds to, followed by how many of those items you need to get the synergy in brackets, and more importantly what the synergy does once achieved. This is very much a work in progress. With that out of the way, here we go.
The Synergies
Beeeees [3]:



Occasionally spawns additional attacking bees

Boots [3]:



Increases walking speed slightly and makes you immune to spikes: 15%

Celestial [3]:



?

Chester [3]:



Increased chance to find higher rarity relics from big chests: 40%

Corrupted [4]:



Slightly increased chance for corrupted rifts to open: +10%

(It appears to be multiplicative, if it were additive on kill or even on room clear a rift would be basically guaranteed, I managed to get this floor 1 and did not manage to get a rift by the end of floor 3 with 6-7 curses or so)

Crystalline [3]:



Upon entering a new area, reveals all special rooms on the map

Cyclops [2]:



Deals slightly more damage to culteye type enemies: 20%

Explorer [3]:



Adds an additional special room to every following area

Family [3]:



Increases the damage of familiars: +15%

Fireworks [3]:



Occasionally spawns additional homing missiles

Flowery [3]:



Small chance to heal a little extra when healing: Chance 20%, Effect 50%

Food [4]:



Grants you a random food pickup

(can be one of; one filled heart container, two shields, one soul segment, and maybe half your max hp in healing, not sure of the last one)

Greedy [3]:



Increased chance for discounts in shops: 30%

Frog [2]:



Chance to shoot an additional bursting bubble shot when shooting: 25%

Heartfelt [3]:



Gives you an extra max HP: +1

Holy [2]:



Increased chance for blessed relics to appear and decreased chance for cursed relics to appear: 10%

Infested [3]:



Occasionally spawns additional spore bullets

Jumpman [3]:



Grants an additional jump

Knightly [3]:



Gives you extra shields: +2

Locksmith [3]:



Unlocking special rooms has a chance to drop a pickup: 25%

Loot Fairies [2]:



Decreases the room requirements of loot fairy relics (Key Fairy, Shield Fairy, Goody Bag etc): Amount: -1

Spirited [3]:



Adds half a soul segment and fully fills your soul bar

Sprintmaster [3]:



Decreases dash cooldown: -15%

Valentine [3]:



Small chance for an enemy wave to spawn a permanently charmed enemy: 20%

Witch [3]:



Status effects applied to enemies last longer: +2 seconds

Just so you know there is a synergy page with the librarian NPC to track synergies and their relics :)
