Intro
MAJOR UPDATE: Yuu's route has now been added.

Here are some basics you may want to know before you start playing:

  • There are 9 people to romance right now, and all intended routes are out.

  • Each option has a certain number of endings, with Magnus and Jack having the most. They all have a "Passionate" and "Sweet" ending. You are only given an "ending" achievement for the "Passionate" ending, which can be largely seen as the "good" romance ending, whilst "Sweet" ending only occurs if your affection meter with the men is not high enough.

  • The dev's "recommended" route order is as follows: Ari, Caissa, Jack, Magnus, Caleb, Lance, Quill, Reuben and then finally Yuu. For your convenience, I've ordered the guide this way. This is entirely personal preference, and your experience won't be ruined if you experience it in a different order. I played in a completely different order, and I honestly preferred the way I played it - so don't stick to this too strictly. Especially if there are certain characters you care more about.

  • I will not be adding the timelines, as they are basically "done" for you. All you have to do is play with the suggested traits given as clues within the timeline.

  • Like my other guides, this one will not be concise. If you want the "fatest" and "optimal" ways to woo them all, this is not the guide for you. It is detailed in order to give people as much information for those little loose ends.

  • Your eye-colour and hair-colour do not matter. Pick your favourite look at your leisure. Keep in mind, certain characters will have certain dialogue based on your appearance. For example, certain routes will have special text if you have white hair. Your personality, however, does matter - as certain choices are locked behind personality traits.

  • Please note: In each section, I tell you what character traits to pick at the start of the choices. These are only referring to your initial choices when you press new game. Sometimes the "correct" choice in a route will contradict your character's personality. Do not play blindly thinking the traits at the start are the only thing you need to pick going forward.

  • If you begin with a different personality type than the one I gave you at the start of their route, this guide will be wrong. Please don't comment saying "X didn't work" because you chose Cautious instead of Confident and locked yourself out of a choice (ie, don't load your early Passionate route save hoping to do the Sweet ending with the same personality!). Personality type directly impacts your affection meter, which can be the sole reason some endings occur. I play-test this guide as and when people give me error reports, and it sucks when I check back because someone's made an error following the guide correctly.
Personality table
These are the "starting" personalities that each person likes the most, and dictates your starting relationship. This is just extra data for people who would like to try and play blind without extra help, or who really like to max their affection, and the starting personality absolutely effects the ability to do that. However, it's important to remember that it is not essential to use these personalities to get the Passionate ending for each character.

Ari (Passionate Ending)
"I've never allowed myself to want something this strongly."

Ari has 3 endings. For Ari's route, I recommend having white hair, as a dialogue change is involved. This route will give you all but the 10th CG. This route will unlock the "Burn it with fire", "Teleportation Pro" and "Ari Passionate Ending" achievements.

For this route, you should be "Cautious, Stubborn and Analytical":

  • Throw the card in the bin, you don't need or want it - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Take a different route altogether, just in case
  • Thank him
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now
  • Ask the man if he's okay
  • Play along for now
  • Take the flask and drink
  • Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • I don't have a choice but it doesn't mean I trust you
  • Wait there and say nothing - The game will ask if you are sure you want to unlock the "Endgame" route. Confirm.
  • The tall kidnapper - The game will ask if you are sure you want to unlock the "Ari" route. Confirm.
  • Push his hands away and get up, anyway
  • I don't dislike it...
  • You can't lose sight of the fact the future always holds unknowns
  • Is your shoulder alright?
  • I guess I didn't really think of it that way
  • I'll stay and wait a little longer
  • Do it again. You will get it right this time.
  • Try and clear the air
  • Agree with Caleb
  • Of course it does!
  • Accept his help
  • Everything I've observed about him is in my report
  • Go to him and comfort him
  • I already have something scheduled
  • Of course it's okay.
  • I'm ready, I can do this.
  • Assure him he's not going to lose you
  • It can be hard getting used to sleeping with someone, can't it?
  • No, I have to do this. - Unlocks "Teleportation Pro" and "Ari Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection metre)
Ari (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 2 endings, I recommend running "Confident, Flexible and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Ari's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked by Ari intervening. Like Caissa's ending, you must have a minimum level of affection with Ari in order to avoid one of the bad endings.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the death flag below:

Ending #3: Test Subject - This unlocks the final missing CG for Ari.
  • This occurs by default if Ari's affection meter is not high enough by a certain point. The Sweet Route below (parts in brackets) shows how to obtain this if you struggle.

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Toss the card aside and try to forget about it.
  • Take a different route altogether. Just in case.
  • Run away from him.
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now.
  • Grab your things before they fall on the ground.
  • Flee your attacker and find help
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • I don't have a choice, but that doesn't mean I trust you
  • Wait there and say nothing
  • The tall kidnapper
  • Stay where you are for now
  • It kind of makes me uncomfortable
  • I don't think I could sacrifice people knowingly
  • That was a good match - with Caleb, I mean
  • I still don't think it's the same.

At this point, you have to be nicer to Ari, or you will lock yourself into a bad ending. But If you want to continue being mean to Ari here to get that bad ending, follow what is in the brackets.

  • I'll stay and wait a while longer - (Alright, let's go)
  • Do it again. You will get it right this time. - (Refuse to go against another classmate)
  • Try to talk to her and clear the air - (Give her some space)
  • Agree with Caleb - (Defend Trent)
  • Of course it does! - (It bothers me that everyone has seen it!)
  • Accept his help - (Refuse his help)
  • Everything I've observed about him is in the report - (I don't think he would do it)
  • Go to him and comfort him - (stay where you are)
  • I already have something scheduled - (I think I can manage it)
  • Think they'd let me go back to bed? - (I'm not ready! I'm definitely not ready.)
  • Assure him he's not going to lose you - (Just hug him tighter)
  • I can't sit out every mission I don't like. - (It would be nice if they'd let me get away with that)

"I found myself looking forward to seeing what the future would hold."
Caissa (Passionate Ending)
"There's a part of me that severely questions your taste in men."

Caissa has 4 endings. Following this route will give you all but the 9th CG, and will also unlock the achievements "Caissa Passionate Ending", "Burn it with fire" and "A True Criminal".

For this route, you should play as "Cautious, Flexible and Emotional":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself.
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned.
  • Apologise to him
  • Flee your attacker and find help
  • Slap it out his hand
  • ]Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Trust Jack... even though he's kinda shady.
  • Find Jack and warn him - The game will ask you to confirm starting the "Crimson" routes. Confirm.
  • Stay quiet and let them decide The game will ask you to confirm starting "Caissa's" route. Confirm.
  • N-n-not cold
  • What does that mean?
  • How do you think I'm doing!?
  • Go ahead and meet the trainer first
  • I don't intend to compete with you
  • It was nice to see another familiar face
  • Wait where you are for Jack to arrive
  • Because doing something stupid can get others hurt too
  • What's the rush on all this anyway?
  • Then how do I adapt?
  • Go to Veli's side to check on him
  • But you don't like that sort of thing, do you?
  • Caissa would probably rather do it.
  • You don't have a problem getting engaged to me?
  • Continue to play along
  • I want to stay.
  • Yes. I am.
  • I don't intend to.
  • Caissa isn't violent
  • Fighting because I choose to is different.
  • Persuade him
  • Let's get you to safety first, then try to find him. - Unlocks "Caissa Passionate Ending" & "A True Criminal"
(Confirmed 100% affection meter - credits to Leah for helping fix some prior issues to this route)
Caissa (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 3 endings, I recommend running "Cautious, Stubborn and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Caissa's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked by Caissa intervening. You must have a minimum level of affection with Caissa in order to avoid one of the bad endings.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the two death flags below:

Ending #3: Shattered Court - (Note: this can be difficult to get. The sweet route below shows in brackets how to do it.)
  • This one occurs after: "Stubborn: That's right" but is not directly caused by it. It is an affection metre determined ending.

Ending #4: Collapse - This unlocks the final missing CG for Caissa
  • Neutral: This isn't the time to think about revenge, Caissa.

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Toss the card aside and try to forget about it
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned
  • Push past him, and just get away from the crowd.
  • Flee your attackers and find help
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Don't trust him! He's way too shady
  • Find Jack and warn him
  • Stay quiet and let them decide
  • Shake your head and do not speak
  • Is Cassia an Esper as well?
  • Why did you lie to me?
  • Delay the meeting as long as possible and take a tour
  • I was not happy to see him
  • Go to your room where you know you'll find someone else waiting
  • Veli, can you get off my back!? I'm trying my best
  • Sometimes adaptation feels more like giving up
  • Stay by the door and ask them what happened again
  • And that's what I'm a part of now
  • Sure, I think I'd like to see more of it.

At this point in the game, you need to be a little nicer to Caissa, or you fall into a bad end. Therefore, the next few choices are very nice despite it being the sweet ending. Or continue being a d*ck to Caissa here to get the bad end - choices for that are in brackets.

  • This engagement is fake! That's the issue! or (I'm not getting engaged to the Crimson heir!)
  • Go along with it or (gently push him away)
  • I want to stay or (It's not a choice for me to make)
  • Yes, I am. or (I do care about him. I don't know if it's love.)
  • I don't intend to. or (I'm really tired of this kind of thing...)
  • Caissa isn't violent or (That isn't what happened)
  • Fighting because I choose to is different or (That's right)

The bad end is now avoided. Back to the bullying.

  • Threaten him
  • Let's get you to safety first, then try to find him - This option is the second death flag.

"And I was looking forward to finding out where it led."
Jack (Passionate Ending)
"I'm a man of many talents, Butterfly"

Jack has 5 endings. It is recommended to play it with white hair for a dialogue change. Follow this guide to unlock the "Jack Passionate Ending" achievement. You will also unlock "Life Saver", "Burn it with fire" and "Spoilers" with this route. This will also unlock almost all of Jack's CGs, apart from the 9th one.

For this walkthrough, play as "Confident, Stubborn, and Emotional":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Join the crowd and see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself
  • Push past him, and just get away from the crowd.
  • Ask the man if he's okay
  • Fight against your attacker
  • Take the Flask and drink
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight
  • Drop it
  • Reason with him - Unlocks "Lifesaver"
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Trust Jack - even though he's kinda shady.
  • Find Jack and warn him - (The game will ask you if it is ok to enter the "Crimson" routes here. Confirm that it is.)
  • I want to go with Jack - (The game will ask you if it is ok to enter Jack's route here. Duh, that's what we're here for. Confirm that it is.)
  • Being able to destroy isn't incredible
  • Tell him you've never seen the stars before
  • Take a closer look
  • Tease him a little
  • Try to reassure him and tell him you're glad to see him
  • I just meant I have a different perspective.
  • Calm him down and change the subject
  • That's it, I could heal Jack with Psi
  • Maybe if he'd been less cautious, you wouldn't have got hurt.
  • An important person to me.
  • I'm not someone who can stop from caring about people here.
  • I'm sorry for scaring you.
  • Go check Sylvia's journal instead - Unlocks "Spoilers"
  • Maybe not, but I understand how he must feel
  • Tackle him
  • Follow him
  • Someone had to do something
  • Why don't you try me then? I might surprise you.
  • The other queen here is the biggest threat - Unlocks "Jack Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection meter)
Jack (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 4 endings, I recommend running "Cautious, Flexible and Analytical" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Jack's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked by Jack intervening.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the three death flags below:

Ending #3: The Merging
  • Stubborn: Search around with your abilities

Ending #4: Castaway - This unlocks the final missing CG for Jack
  • Flexible: Gently try to talk him down

Ending #5: Capture the Queen
  • "You only made us hate you."
  • "You made us into your enemy."

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Toss the card on the side and try to forget about it.
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on.
  • Comment on his accent and ask where he's from
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned.
  • Apologise to him
  • Fight your attacker
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Run back the way you came
  • Fight to get away
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Don't trust him! He's way too shady.
  • Find Jack and warn him
  • I want to go with Jack
  • Tell me more about where I am exactly
  • Tell him to stop laughing
  • It would have been better to keep living in ignorance.
  • Return upstairs for now
  • Change the subject
  • But I am still an outsider, Jack
  • Tell him he shouldn't be out of bed yet
  • He needs a hospital!
  • Maybe you should be more cautious, too
  • He's the only person I really know here
  • I needed a distraction.
  • I guess I know how you feel now
  • Go check Sylvia's journal instead - The other option is the first death flag.
  • If we had been more careful, he wouldn't have to rampage
  • Block his path and contact Celeste for help - The other option is the second death flag.
  • Let him go
  • I am not being cocky!
  • Why don't you try me then? I might surprise you. - The other option is the final death flag.
  • If I go with you, will you leave everyone else alone?

"The future calls."
Magnus (Passionate Ending)
"When I'm with you, that mask always somehow slips away."

Magnus has 5 endings. For Magnus' route, it is worth having silver hair because of some unique dialogue available to you if you do it. In the "Magnus Passionate Ending" route, you will unlock that achievement, and "Burn it with fire", "Life Saver", and "Midnight Snack". Following this guide gives you all but the 10th CG for Magnus.

For his route - you should be "Confident, Flexible and Emotional":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it. - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Join the crowd and see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now
  • Ask the man if he's okay
  • Flee your attacker and find help
  • Take the flask and drink
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight
  • Drop it
  • Reason with him - Unlocks "Life Saver"
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Don't trust him! He's way too shady.
  • Wait there and say nothing - The game will ask you to confirm starting the "Endgame" route. Say yes.
  • That blond guy from before - The game will ask you to confirm starting "Magnus' route" Say yes.
  • ... Emyr?
  • I guess I was afraid.
  • So the of you work directly under Magnus?
  • Ask if he needs a hand
  • If that strategy doesn't work, I'll find another
  • Go ahead and knock
  • Restless isn't the right word
  • Thank you for deactivating them
  • Join him
  • Weeeeell, I'm not opposed to it. - Unlocks "Midnight Snack"
  • Are you telling me to be careful?
  • No, it didn't.
  • Accept the treatment
  • Work on a letter of formal complaint.
  • Hug him
  • Step around the others and talk to her.
  • Tell them you don't know
  • Help Vanessa
  • I don't think that's true
  • All right, but go where??
  • Will you tell me about the storm you witnessed before?
  • I'm not hurt, just... confused, I guess.
  • Finding him is the most important thing right now - Unlocks "Magnus Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection meter)
Magnus (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 4 endings, I recommend running "Cautious, Stubborn and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Magnus' affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked by Magnus intervening. Thankfully, like Jack's route, Magnus does not require a "minimum" affection metre to survive until the sweet ending. So you can be as mean as you'd like to him.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the three death flags below:

Ending #3: Power Surge
  • Refuse the treatment -> Neutral: Try to reactivate your system on principle

Ending #4: Point Blank
  • Analytical: Not until you explain to me what's going on

Ending #5: Divided - This unlocks the final missing CG for Magnus
  • Confident: Wait for him for a while

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Toss the card aside and try to forget about it..
  • Take a different route altogether. Just in case.
  • Run away from him
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now.
  • Grab your things before they fall on the ground
  • Fight against your attacker
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Run back the way you came
  • Fight to get away
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • I don't have a choice, but that doesn't mean I trust you
  • Wait there and say nothing
  • That blond guy from before.
  • I'm sorry, but who are you again?
  • I was being selfish
  • You mentioned the queen's guard is 'in the field'?
  • Ask if he is wearing his psi inhibitor.
  • I hope they're not stupid enough to think that will work.
  • Go back for now
  • Of course I am.
  • How do they justify that!?
  • Leave him alone
  • ...Goodnight, Magnus
  • What happened to her?
  • When have you people ever confirmed anything with me??
  • Accept the treatment - The other option is the first death flag.
  • Leave it alone, it's not worth it
  • That wasn't the case for you, was it?
  • Stay behind them and let them handle it
  • Tell him the truth
  • Go to Ari like Caleb told you
  • Well, you know him better than I do...
  • Won't that make things worse? - The other option is the second death flag.
  • Will you tell me what is going on with Lethe now?
  • Finding him is the most important thing right now - The other option is the third and final death flag.

"There was a long road ahead. But... I was glad to be on it with him."
Caleb (Passionate Ending)
"Heh, come at me any time little queen. I look forward to it."

Caleb has 4 endings. Caleb's route unlocks the "Caleb Passionate Ending", "Burn it with fire" and "Anything You Can Do...". It also unlocks all but the 9th CG in his collection (with the two variations).

For this route, you want to be "Confident, Stubborn and Analytical":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it. - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Squeeze past the crowd as quickly as possible
  • I need to go home
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now
  • Ask the man if he's okay
  • Play along for now
  • Take the flask and drink
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight
  • Flee to a safer place
  • I don't have a choice, but I don't trust you
  • Wait there and say nothing - The game asks you to confirm taking the "Endgame" route. Click yes.
  • The grumpy kidnapper - The game asks you to confirm taking the "Caleb" route. Click yes.
  • I stayed where I was
  • I probably would have, yes.
  • What's it really like here, Van?

  • Didn't break in this time? What a surprise
  • This isn't really why we're here, is it?
  • Prove it to him OR Turn away - Recommended you save before this choice, as there are 2 CG variations. "Prove it to him" gives you affection points, "Turn away from him" does not.
  • Take his hand
  • I never thought I'd date a kidnapper
  • Pull back right away
  • Delphine didn't seem so bad.
  • Kiss him
  • Aren't you being too obvious? - Unlocks "Caleb Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection meter)
Caleb (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 3 endings, I recommend running "Cautious, Flexible and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Caleb's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked by Caleb intervening. Thankfully, like Jack's route, Caleb does not require a "minimum" affection metre to survive until the sweet ending. So you can be as mean as you'd like to him.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the two death flags below:

Ending #3: Derailed - This unlocks the final missing CG for Caleb
  • Confident: Look closer and see who it is

Ending #4: Tirune
  • Confident: Save the man, and shut down the relic

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it.
  • Squeeze past the crowd as quickly as possible
  • I should probably go give a report to the officers
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now.
  • Grab your things before they fall on the ground
  • Fight against your attacker
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Run back the way you came
  • Fight to get away
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • I don't have a choice, but that doesn't mean I trust you.
  • Wait there and say nothing
  • The grumpy kidnapper
  • Run away from him

  • It doesn't feel that way.
  • And I guess I'm meant to just accept that.
  • Excuse me? What are you doing here?
  • I'm enjoying it so far
  • Thank you, I'd rather not talk about it.
  • Stay where you are.
  • Are you even serious right now??
  • Is it time to leave now?
  • You're not wrong.
  • Turn away from him
  • Let him finish first
  • Pull back right away - The other option is the first death flag.
  • Did you grow up in Delphine?
  • How can you possibly do that
  • Wait and see what happens - The other option is the second and final death flag.

"I was so, so glad I ended up here with him."
Lance (Passionate Ending)
"Humans never know what's best for them..."

Lance has 3 endings. For this route, it is recommended that your character has light grey/blue eyes for secret dialogue with it. Alongside the "Lance Passionate Ending", this route unlocks the "Burn it with fire", "Car Thief" and "Well that was a bad plan" achievements. This route unlocks all but the 8th and 9th CGs in Lance's route.

For this route, you should be "Confident, Flexible and Analytical":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it. - Unlocks "Burn it with fire"
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself
  • I'll come by later as planned.
  • Apologise to him
  • Play along for now
  • Take the flask and drink
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Trust Jack... even though he's kinda shady.
  • Go out through the front to Jack's car - The game will warn you that this choice unlocks "Lance's route". It is highly recommended that you do Caissa and Magnus' route before you click yes here. Also unlocks "Car Thief"
  • Try to get up and see where you are
  • Accept
  • It's just so beautiful
  • Point out that he's human too
  • Are you offering to let me stay here if I don't go back?
  • I have a lot of brothers. Sometimes these things happen.
  • I don't know about that.
  • Hug Him
  • I love it.
  • Sometimes it amazes me to think about the things you've seen.
  • Of course I do. Don't you?
  • No, of course not.
  • Teleport yourself to the rocks - Unlocks "Well, that was a bad plan"
  • I don't mind walking
  • Yes, I am.
  • How are you doing?
  • What are our options?

  • I think it's others that complicate things - not you.
  • What kind of time frame are we dealing with?
  • Teleport yourself and Lance out of sight - Unlocks "Lance Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection meter)
Lance (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 2 endings, I recommend running "Cautious, Stubborn and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Lance's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked. Thankfully, like Jack's route, Lance does not require a "minimum" affection metre to survive until the sweet ending. So you can be as mean as you'd like to him.

To reach the "Sweet Ending" (which is unlocked by reaching the end of the story with a low affection metre), you simply need to do as described, whilst taking care to avoid the death flag below:

Ending #3: Dream is Gone - This unlocks the two missing CGs for Lance
  • Emotional: Do it. Turn yourself in.

Sweet Ending Route:

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it.
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on
  • Keep your observation about his accent to yourself
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned.
  • Push past him, and just get away from the crowd
  • Fight your attacker
  • Slap it out of his hand
  • Run back the way you came
  • Fight to get away
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Trust Jack... even though he's kinda shady.
  • Go through the front to Jack's car
  • Stay in bed
  • Decline
  • Ask if you can talk to him about something
  • How much do these 'reverse nets' lower the odds of me being found?
  • I guess I'll have to talk your word for that
  • But you changed my clothes already, didn't you?
  • Maybe you're right
  • Take his hands
  • I'm going to miss it here
  • War is always like that, I guess
  • Well, it would be nice if it were true, anyway.
  • I suppose I want some recognition, yes
  • Decide it's too risky
  • Alright, I'll let you drive me
  • How are the others holding up?
  • This is all my fault
  • Wait until morning to talk to Lance - The only death flag should appear here. It won't appear if Lance likes you too much.
  • Is it possible to just move the mainframe or hide it better?
  • At this point, is their intent to apprehend me or to kill me?
  • Rush out and draw their attention away from Lance

"And I cannot wait to see where tomorrow and the days after take us."
Quill (Passionate Ending)
"You are a pain. I hope you realise that."

Quill has 4 endings. For Quill's route, it is recommended that your character once again has white/blonde hair for secret dialogue with it. This route will give you all but the 9th CG in Quill's section. Alongside the "Quill Passionate Ending" achievement, you will get the "Up, Up and Away" achievement. (You can get this with any route, as long as you are Emotional. Therefore, I've added it to the sweet route, and marked the choice.)

For this route, you should be "Cautious, Flexible and Analytical":

  • Toss the card to the side and try to forget about it.
  • Take a different route altogether, just in case
  • Thank him
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned
  • Push past him, and just get away from the crowd.
  • Fight against your attacker.
  • Take the flask and drink
  • Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Neutral: Try to find a place to take shelter. - At this point, the game will warn you that this choice unlocks Quill's route. Say yes.
  • Call for help
  • No, you have a right to get answers.
  • Thank you again, for everything.
  • Does that mean you also came here from Erebos?
  • Oh yes, I'm terrified, you horrific criminal.
  • You said you were one of his colleagues?
  • You just don't want to bother interviewing anyone else, do you?
  • I'm thinking about your snoring.
  • Check out what's going on and see if they need help.
  • So do you.
  • You don't have to talk about it right now.
  • Of course I want to stay with you.
  • Do you want me to come with you?
  • NO! Grab him and pull him with you.
  • That seems far-fetched. Doesn't it?
  • Fire a psi-burst at them as a warning.
  • Maybe I should teleport us to a higher spot?
  • That isn't being fair to yourself.
  • If Vale's okay with it...
  • I'm not even close to interested, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. - Unlocks "Quill Passionate Ending"
    (Confirmed 100% affection meter.)

(Thanks to user Leah for her help with this route! - Please note, if you have the option to "check on Quill instead of firing a psi-burst, do that option instead. I believe this is only unlocked if you do not have the "fullest" relationship you can possibly gain at that point in the story - mainly from not having all three personality traits.)
Quill (Sweet Ending + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 3 endings, I recommend running "Confident, Stubborn and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Quill's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked.

Ending #3: Failed Teleportation (Affection must be low. The below sweet ending route will make it happen.)
  • Neutral: Why don't you stay here? We won't be long.

Ending #4: Allies - This unlocks the final missing CG for Quill
  • Analytical: Help me how exactly?

Sweet Ending Route

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it.
  • Join the crowd and see what's going on.
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself.
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now.
  • Ask the man if he's ok.
  • Flee your attacker and find help.
  • Slap it out of his hand.
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight.
  • Keep holding onto it.
  • Try to find a place to take shelter.
  • Go downstairs on your own
  • It does feel a little like an ambush.
  • If you talk to Ripley, thank her for me.
  • How much of the population is made of Espers, then?
  • Of course, please come in.
  • Why do you keep going out of your way to help me?
  • You answered your own question just now...
  • Ignore the commotion and go back to the office.
  • He seems reliable.
  • I know it's difficult to talk about this...
  • Are... you saying you're interested in me?
  • What's bothering you?
  • Try to divert the car's path with psi - Unlocks "Up, Up, and away."
  • What does that mean??
  • Follow the intruder outside
  • 'More or less' isn't that convincing.
  • Then I'll try to keep up.
  • Everyone should have.
  • If Vale's okay with it...
  • You're over-estimating yourself.

"I was glad that whatever changes or challenges were ahead... We would meet them together."
Reuben (Passionate Ending)
"You are not just work to me."

Reuben has 3 endings. Follow this guide to unlock the "Reuben Passionate Ending" achievement. You will also unlock "And Stay Dead" with this route. This will also unlock almost all of Reuben's CGs, apart from the 10th one.

For this walkthrough, play as "Confident, Stubborn, and Emotional":

  • Throw the card in the bin. You don't need or want it.
  • Join the crowd and see what's going on.
  • Comment on his accent and ask where he's from.
  • It's not that I'm busy...
  • Ask the man if he's ok.
  • Flee your attacker and find help.
  • Slap it out of his hand.
  • Pick up a weapon and get ready to fight.
  • Keep holding onto it.
  • Flee the area to a safer place.
  • Don't trust him! He's way too shady.
  • Try to slip out through the back on foot
  • I'm not complaining about it.
  • At least something 'lucky' happened yesterday.
  • Oh, it didn't bother me.
  • You said this is something of a compulsion...?
  • I'll do it. The contract, I mean.
  • I'm vaguely aware of them.
  • Step in front of Reuben and talk to them.
  • That's fine. I don't care.
  • Obviously, that's my intent as well.
  • I can handle it.
  • All right. Any strategies for coping?
  • Thank you for believing me too, Reuben.
  • That isn't... what's bothering me, Reuben. That wasn't even your fault.
  • Kiss him.
  • Maybe I could go up to his room to check, anyway.
  • Interesting. So what kind of case is it?
  • Do not follow them.
  • If I'm going to do this, I may as well do my best.
  • Pull him closer and kiss him.
  • Ye~es? Go on.
  • I should check with Reuben about searching before we left.
  • You're not counting yourself as a positive then...?
  • Take the lead.
  • I panicked - Unlocks "And stay dead."
Reuben (Sweet + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 2 endings, I recommend running "Confident, Stubborn and Analytical" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Reuben's affection meter is too high, he will prevent the bad ending. Like Jack, there is no minimum required relationship meter to survive, so you can be as mean as you'd like to Reuben and still achieve the Sweet End.

Ending #3: Timeout (Affection must be low. The below sweet ending route will make it happen.) - This unlocks the final missing CG for Reuben.
  • Confident: I need to search for the trio now, no matter what!

Sweet Ending Route

  • Place the card back in the envelope so you can return it.
  • Take a different route altogether. Just in case.
  • Thank him.
  • I'll come by this afternoon as planned.
  • Push past him, and just get away from the crowd.
  • Play along for now.
  • Take the flask and drink.
  • Ask who's there.
  • Reason with him.
  • Flee the area to a safer place.
  • Can I... Can I really trust you?
  • Try to slip out through the back on foot.
  • What about my family?
  • If I was lucky, I wouldn't be an Esper at all.
  • The eggs are the most important thing...
  • Okay. So how much of what you research is actually real?
  • I need time to think about it first.
  • Tell Phil I said thank you for thinking about this.
  • No. They were among the Esper-related things I avoided...
  • Let Reuben handle this.
  • ... Hell no. Absolutely not.
  • I have some questions before I agree to anything from you.
  • I know. I'm worried too.
  • I hope we learn what happened.
  • I'm well aware you didn't mean to worry anyone...
  • I wanted to reach out, but maybe I shouldn't...
  • What do we do now?
  • Ugh. I'm glad he rejected the idea. I'm not there yet.
  • Follow them.
  • Becoming a 'pro' is why I'm here, you know.
  • Rest your head on his shoulder again.
  • I guess my previous search strategy was on hold... - Another option here unlocks the bad ending above.
  • It's natural to look for a silver lining of some kind.
  • I stayed calm, and focused.

"But whatever was ahead, I was looking forward to facing it now. I really was."
Yuu (Passionate Ending)
"But I admit you have a tendency to make me wish to be distracted whether or not I need it."

Yuu has 3 endings. Follow this guide to unlock the "Yuu Passionate Ending" achievement. You will also unlock "Space" and "Knock Knock!" with this route. This will also unlock almost all of Yuu's CGs, apart from the 4th and 9th ones.

For this walkthrough, play as "Cautious, Stubborn, and Analytical":

  • Place the card back in the envelope so you can return it.
  • Join the crowd to see what's going on
  • Keep the observation about his accent to yourself
  • I'm really sorry, but I actually am busy right now.
  • Grab your things before they fall on the ground.
  • Flee your attacker and find help.
  • Slap it out of his hand.
  • Ask who's there
  • Reason with him
  • Flee the area to a safer place
  • Don't trust him! He's way too shady.
  • Wait there and say nothing - Confirm that you are ok to start ENDGAME routes.
  • The doctor from the hallway - Confirm that you are ok to start YUU's route.
  • It's not unprecedented though.
  • It's all right, Yuu, I'm sure many of us find you pretty.
  • It's not like there was anything wrong with a date...
  • But you ranked above Magnus, I assume? - A fair bit after this, you should unlock "Space"
  • Politely remind her that it is 'President Leere'.
  • We aren't just impartial arbiters. We're also people.
  • Of course I am. I'm curious about... you. Everything about you.
  • Of course not!
  • You could always come inside for a cup of tea...
  • It isn't the three of you. It's being here at all.
  • I wasn't judging.
  • Kiss him in response
  • You don't need a lecture from me.
  • This is for myself, not Magnus.
  • Is that what you were hoping for the whole time?
  • I don't think you're a villain at all.
  • Wait, I need to you something first.
  • What about the nanite-surge virus situation?
  • I'm obviously concerned for the both of you.
  • Let Yuu bring it up when he's ready
  • Focus the shield, even if you have to lower some of the weights
  • At the moment, I'm just focusing on the situation. - A fair bit after this, you should unlock "knock knock!"
  • I'll shield everyone and absorb the impact that way
Yuu (Sweet + Bad Endings)
In order to get the other 2 endings, I recommend running "Confident, Flexible and Emotional" and doing the exact opposite of every choice listed above in the passionate route, because if Yuu's affection metre is too high, certain bad endings will automatically be blocked. Thankfully, like Jack's route, Yuu does not require a "minimum" affection metre to survive until the sweet ending. So you can be as mean as you'd like to him.

Ending #3: Crash Landing - This unlocks the 9th CG for Yuu
  • Confident: You shield everyone while Odette and I slow the ship

Sweet Ending Route
  • Get to Yuu's route in any way you'd like. (Basically get to the Diner menu with Jack and say "Wait there and say nothing" and then "The doctor from the hallway".) However - there is a new achievement for hitting someone with a lead pipe in the opening section. If you grab a weapon and then continue to hold it instead of dropping it in the abandoned building, which is doable with "confident", then you can get the new achievement "Bonk!"
  • Being queen rank is just a trait. Nothing more.
  • Ignore them as they start bickering again
  • Maybe I was just overthinking it?
  • You don't look like a tank - no offence
  • Let it go
  • That makes sense to a certain degree
  • I'm curious about the entire situation
  • We will see each other tomorrow, anyway - This unlocks the 4th CG for Yuu.
  • It's not like you have a choice
  • I wasn't judging.
  • Let him continue
  • I think... I do need to do it.
  • Not sure interesting is the word I'd have chosen.
  • I should just wait and see how things develop for now...
  • Some warning about all this still would have been nice...
  • Yes, frankly
  • Ask about the situation
  • I was a little disappointed you didn't tell me
  • Keep the weights aloft even if the shield breaks
  • Not Well
  • I'll shield everyone and absorb the impact that way. - The other option is ending #3, the bad "crash landing" ending.

"This... wasn't a perfect ending, but it also wasn't the end."
September 2023 Achievements
As of the Yuu update, there are new achievements available to unlock.

Four of these (Bonk!, Knock knock!, Space! and Yuu's passionate ending) can be completed with Yuu's new routes.

However, as of writing this - some of these achievements are missing from this guide. I unfortunately don't have the time to check over every single walkthrough and find the achievements within this guide as that will take hours - but as this guide covers all endings and content, if you are new to the game after this update, you will unlock all achievements naturally.

I know that doesn't help those of us who have played this before, however, so if anybody comes across the following achievements naturally, please comment on this guide and I will add them where they fit and credit you for the find:

Bright idea! - in Reuben's route, choose to use your psi abilities in hospital during investigation (specific personality trait needed, perhaps).
Decoder - Caleb's passionate ending.
Footsteps - in common route, choose to calm down Rory, then go through Quill's route.
Greenthumb - Caissa's passionate route, the moment of kissing, I believe.
Healer - use your psi abilities to stop Jack's bleeding in his route (recommended personality trait needed - you need the confident trait to choose "That's it, I could heal Jack with Psi".).
Bonk! - Is just unlocked in the common route by picking up and choosing to fight.
Footsteps - '"in common route, choose to calm down Rory, then go through Quill's route." - i just unlocked it after getting "Bonk!" and continuing with Quills route. So I guess attacking Rory is legit, too, for getting this achievement.

Thank you to Sphynx, Skyelion and Yuterra for finding these. At a later date, I'll be editing them into the respective routes so you don't have to come here especially.

Great suggestion, Tora! :Hearty: I've pulled it up to the top for you now :) I'll also highlight that dev's recommended route order a little more clearly for others :HBReading:

I was looking for the dev's recommended route order for lore impact to start with, I appreciate finding it here. I would like to recommend moving the Personality Table up to the top though, for those of us who like to have a blind run before even peeking at a guide. Once I've done my blind playthrough I'll be back to use this guide for the endings and achievements I missed. Thanks for such a thorough guide!

I'm still always here! I'll have to take a peek at that over the weekend in more detail. It's been a long time since I wrote either sections and the dev updates quite frequently - she may have changed options and I'll look into that!:MinamiCatHeart:

Super late to this thread but I had a question about the jack guide. I see the Rueben option missing and then I see both options when bumping into Caissa.

This guide uses the devs recommended route order, but I found I personally really enjoyed Jack, Caleb, Caissa, Ari, Lance, Magnus, Quill, Reuben, Yuu - the last three were just because they were updated later than the game but I liked shaking up both sides for a more chaotic feeling that kept me guessing a little more.

But honestly I really liked Lance as a "last" playthrough. Reuben Quill and Yuu could totally be squeezed in there if you're happy to be a little more confused. But it's kind of like picking up a book in the middle of the series. You wouldn't be incredibly lost if you chose your own preferences

Just curious as to if this is the most-recent route-order-rec? I actually have the guide from the KS, and was looking for a comprehensive order, not just "this person before that person", and I found this guide, so thanks for that. I just want to make sure that seems to be the general census? Haha. It's been years since I played (not since the first routes were released, and I was going to start over.

**The dev's "recommended" route order is as follows: Ari, Caissa, Jack, Magnus, Caleb, Lance, Quill, Reuben and then finally Yuu.**

Wanted to comment to the people below this that I'm adding your comments as and when you send them over about the new achievements, so thank you very much for your help! :Hearty:
Sphynx Nov 5, 2023 @ 3:25am
And for "Healer" you need the confident trait to choose "That's it, I could heal Jack with Psi".
Sphynx Nov 4, 2023 @ 7:24am
Footsteps - '"in common route, choose to calm down Rory, then go through Quill's route." - i just unlocked it after getting "Bonk!" and continuing with Quills route. So I guess attacking Rory is legit, too, for getting this achievement.
Skyelion Sep 30, 2023 @ 1:08am
Bonk! - Is just unlocked in the common route by picking up and choosing to fight.
Greenthumb - While in Caissa's route it is later on when heading to the Court to make the rooftop gardens after Morgan and Caissa have made it official .
