Introduction and Skills
Welcome to my walkthrough of Framing Frame, a heist that is notorious for being tedious due to the long amount of waiting required in it.

Inside you will find the tips and tricks that I have learned to get this heist done in under a half an hour.

This is NOT a Solo guide. This guide is for a two man group. Having more players is helpful but this guide is for a minimum of 2 players.

The first thing that I will go over before I get to the breakdown of the days themselves is what skills you and your partner(s) will need to successfully stealth this heist.

If you've read my Election Day guide, then you will know the Ghost(and Fugitive) skills I'm about to list. These are REQUIRED to make your life easier when doing this heist:

Cat Burglar(Aced)
Cleaner(Aced)
Hidden Blade(Aced) - Edit 4/9/15 - Shinobi now obsolete thanks to the Hidden Blade skill increasing Concealment for Melee but also has the same effect as Shinobi's ace.
Fast Hands(Aced)
ECM Specialist(Aced)
ECM Overdrive(Basic, should be Aced if one of you does not have Inside Man)
Camera Loop(Not necessary persay, but will make things a whole lot easier)

Having the above skills will allow you to sneak by cameras and guards with relative ease as well as have 1 minute of ECMs per player in case the fecal matter hits the proverbial fan.

Next up the miscellaneous skills from Mastermind and Enforcer:
Control Freak(Aced, helps with Security Access on Day 1)
Spotter(Helps with Day 1 & 3, Aced)
Dominator(Trust me, assists when guards detect you so they don't alert the place by shooting - Basic) Edit - 4/9/15 - No longer needs to be aced, but ace it if you want extra shout distance.
Transporter(Aced)

As for loadouts, go for whatever will assist you in gaining that 3 Detection Risk. CAR-4, Mosconi, Silenced Loco 12G or a pistol, whatever you are comfortable with.

My personal loadout is as follows:
CAR-4(with attachments, concealment of 29)
Gruber Kurz or Intercepter .40(Both have close to a 30)
Two-Piece Suit
ECM Jammers
Any Melee weapon with a concealment of 28 - 30, with Hidden Blade will increase to 30 - 32

This helps with a concealment of 3 and gives me a peace of mind that I won't shoot windows on Day 3.

Now, ONTO THE HEIST!
Day 1: Art Gallery

Alright, let's begin.

EDIT - 4/9/15 - Due to the implementation of Preplanning during this mission, here's what you want for this day:
Keycard
Roof Access - Hall A
Outside Access - Parking Lot
Camera Feed - Rooftop

Art Gallery is a somewhat easy day. You need to sneak into the Art Gallery and steal 4(or more) paintings with the following red sticker:

There are ALWAYS a minimum of 6 paintings. There can however be up to NINE, this is an achievement as well as the biggest payout you can get so be thorough in looking through the place

The map is broken down into a building with a Lobby, Five Halls, and a Security room as well as roof access and a side bathroom door.

When you begin on the map, carefully head to your right to find the spiral staircase to the roof as well as this side door which is your MAIN DOOR heading into the gallery starting at Hall E:

A bit of forewarning, occassionally when you pick this door a guard may interrupt you by opening it. If he does, terminate him and answer his pager. This will waste a pager, but this event is somewhat rare.

The bathroom is where you will find the keycard you purchased with the Security Access skill. It will be found either on the Hand Dryers or in one of the stalls. It will be highlighted for you. Here's the bathroom itself:

Another bit of a warning: If you stand near or under the hand dryers, they will be set off. This will lure a guard into the bathroom, able to be killed. If you feel it necessary, do so. If you can avoid it, do so.

Here are the Halls in clockwise order:

Lobby:

Hall A:

Hall B:

Hall C:

Hall D:

Hall E:

Each Hall has 8 or more paintings you can view, but only ones with the Sold sticker are the ones you can take. While on the rooftop, you can generally scope out which halls have Sold paintings and which ones are empty. As I said above, there can be up to 9 paintings, so be thorough.

The only halls that have blind spots for paintings are Halls A & C. So generally you can see which ones you can hit for paintings and which ones you can avoid entirely.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Inbetween two random lobbies there will be MOTION SENSOR LASERS. If a player, painting, or dead guard pass through them it WILL set off the alarm. So be sure to locate those FIRST before you start in to actually nabbing the paintings. Lasers can spawn between A - B, B - C, C - D, D - E they will never spawn between A - Lobby and E - Lobby.

Now, Security can spawn in one of three different Halls. It can spawn in A, C, and E with E being the easiest obviously. Roof access into the gallery itself is limited. You can jump onto the cross structure in B or if you bought the Entry Point asset, you can drop onto one of the big draped structures in A, C, or D depending where it spawned(See my Hall D picture for an example.)

Terminating the Camera guard should be a priority. Once he is taken care of, you can begin looting the place. Once the cameras are dealt with, your partner can stop checking the camera feed and hover above whatever Hall you are in on the roof. This will give them line of sight to the entire area, giving them the ability to point out guards if they happen to walk in on you trying to grab a painting. They need to be careful still, since guards can see them through the skylights.

Once you start grabbing paintings, you can toss them up to your partner. Located in A, C, E are little windows leading to the roof. Your partner can sit in them and catch paintings you toss up to them like so:

They can usually insta-grab the painting can drop it somewhere on the roof or in the van, allowing you to remain in the Gallery stealing as many as you can. If you bought the Additional Roof Access asset, your partner can drop off the paintings and return to the roof using the truck like so:

Once you steal 4 paintings you are free to leave. However stay and grab as many as you can, they are worth the cash on Day 2.

It may be disappointing but the money values of the paintings have no effect on your PayDay considering that on Day 2 you trade the paintings. Don't feel too bad, the money you acquire on Day 2 easily trumps the lost cash on Day 1

If things go bad at any point, you can use the fully powered ECMs for a 2 minute rush in and out of the gallery just AVOID THOSE LASERS!

If you feel you've found them all, feel free to exit the building and head on to Day 2: Train Trade.
Day 2: Train Trade

This is the EASIEST day in this heist. It doesn't take long at all unless you failed Stealth on Day 1 or if you're playing on Death Wish happen to be very unlucky.

Your starting screen will be you facing a dilapidated train yard with the van containing the paintings to your left and the train for the trade to your right:

Walk into the train and answer the litte blue phone sitting by the table. Transfer the paintings from the van to the table inside the train, they will automatically fall into place. Answer the phone again and a helicopter will arrive to trade the paintings. A roof access hatch will open, toss the paintings through them at the copter and a bag of money will be returned through the hatch. Once all paintings have been traded you may leave.

At this point, pay attention to the AI if you have them. They will be unmasked throughout this whole thing. If they should put their masks on when the escape is available be prepared: You're getting AMBUSHED. If you should get ambushed, and for some reason someone brought a saw with them you can move the loot through the sewer grate that can be sawed open:

If you stealthed Day 1, there's virtually no chance of getting ambushed on this day unless you are playing on Death Wish in which there is still a small chance you'll get ambushed.

My advice is if you get ambushed while on Death Wish Pro Job, leave the money and BOOK IT to the van. The money is not worth the time(and Offshore likely) spent on this mission if you should fail trying to transfer it.

If you did not get ambushed at this point, congratulations you can successfully finish this day without issue. Bain will advise you to deal with these 3 workers that always spawn after the escape is available. Tie em down or kill em, whatever suits your fancy:

After the workers have been dealt with, transfer the money to the van and be on your merry way to Day 3: Framing

EDIT - 4/9/15 - The bags of cash no longer offsets the lost cash on Day 1 of this heist. However the updated amount of money earned for just completing the heist does. Refer to the following for why this had to be edited:
Paintings - 4 Mission Bags x $15,000 = $60,000 and 5 Extra Bags: 5 x $615,000 = $3,075,000
Cash - 9 x $307,500 = $2,767,500
So it's a net loss of 1 bag of cash: $307,500
Day 3: Framing

Day 3, oh boy the FUN day. This day can take upwards of 30 minutes depending on the guard pathing and where every mission item is located.

EDIT - 4/9/15 - Just like Day 1, Preplanning has been implemented so my suggestions are:
Body Bags - Office Mezzanine
Spycams - Both East Rooms
Bag Shortcut

As per most Death Wish heists, the cameras here will be Titan cameras should you attempt it. However even if you are playing on Overkill or lower, DO NOT destroy cameras. Guards walk around this entire map and will eventually see them. This is why I recommended Camera Loop. It helps when you need to off a guard or collect a mission item etc.

The Senator's apartment consists of the Roof, the Basement, and the second floor. You can enter the building itself from 3 different access points on the roof. You can pick or shoot the doors open, either way you'll get into the building. One leads to the Office, one is a master staircase for accessing any floor, and the double doors lead to the Balcony.

Just for references, I will be using the following names for the rooms and areas situated around the apartment:
Roof
Office(2nd Floor)
Red Couch Room(2nd Floor)
Balcony(2nd Floor overlooking Atrium)
Bedroom(Basement)
Kitchen(Basement)
Atrium(Basement)

The laptop on the roof will give you access to the painting cameras that the Senator has hung throughout the apartment. These are randomized but most of the time useful. They will highlight guards and mission items.

Speaking of guards, the number of them varies depending on the difficulty, increasing with the difficulty capping at 6 on Overkill and Death Wish. The only other difference between the lower difficulties and Death Wish is that the guards have very visible flashlights on Overkill and lower, on Death Wish? Nope. Be prepared for a jumpscare or two as a guard rounds a corner into you, so go in with caution.

You can kill 3 guards and not have the respawning guard appear. Use that to your advantage and cut their numbers down. Save the final pager for an emergency.

For the first part of this day, you have to find 5 of the Senator's electronics situated around the apartment. The objects are the following:

Tablet(instant pickup):

Hard Drives(2 of them, takes a second or two to pick up):

Phone(Instant pickup):

Laptop(2 - 3 seconds):

Cameras and Spycams can assist in highlighting these items, so keep an eye out!

Refer to Orange's guide here for their exact locations in the outro!

After collecting the 5 items, you need to place them on the roof. However the player who collected them does not need to place them. Your partner operating the cams can place them on the roof like so:

After placing the items on the roof, you need to access the Senator's computer which is located in the Office. Simply make your way down and access the computer:

After doing so the Vault's camera feed will be active and Bain will tell you to find where the Vault is since he doesn't know. There are 3 bookcases in the Apartment, one on the second floor, two in the Basement. You have the option of moving them, for the Vault is behind one. They look like this:

There is one in the Atrium, one in the Bedroom, and one on the second floor, in a corner. Each have varying difficulty for getting the coke and gold in and out respectively.

The Atrium is by far the hardest. It's a high traffic area for guards so be very careful in transporting the coke.

The 2nd Floor is moderately difficult. The only thing you must worry about is a guard walking up the stairs right next to it and seeing what you're doing. Otherwise you're ok. Another thing I should mention, occasionally a camera will spawn down the hall facing the vault. This is where Camera Loop once again comes into play, as it will notice the coke and planted coke.

The Bedroom is the easiest of the three spawns, as the bag shortcut is just outside the bedroom, making it easy to transfer the coke from the shortcut to the vault. Guards also rarely walk into the bedroom, if they do it's an easy killzone so take them out if they walk in unless you have no pagers left.

If a guard notices the open vault, he will walk in, get suspicious, then start to call in the suspicious activity. Don't open the bookshelf unless you are certain there are no guards in the vicinity. Using the cameras, Spycams, and Spotter will assist in this. It takes a split second for them to notice it and they WILL walk through it.

Speaking of the Coke, once you figure out which Bookshelf houses the Vault, you are required to plant 8 bags of Coke in the pre-vault room. If you got the Bedroom or Atrium spawn, you can use the aforementioned Bag Shortcut to get the bags from the roof to the basement in a short amount of time. In the bedroom there is a spot behind the right chair where you can toss the coke and it will remain hidden. The only guard who will notice it is the respawning guard, so if you haven't spawned him by now or if he has left, you can use that spot to your advantage.

The bag shortcut is a ventilation shaft on the roof. Hard to miss.

After putting the coke into the pre-vault room like this one here:

You now have to access the computer in the office again. Once you access it the vault will be popped open like so:

Notice the lasers? Same thing as Day 1. If you trip them, alarm is raised. However you or your partner can access the computer again to disable them. They go down for 50 seconds, giving you plenty of time getting those 8 Bags of Gold safely out of the vault and away from the lasers.

Gold has a very high detection rating, so be very careful when transporting it

Once all the gold is safely out, you and your partner should work on getting them at least into the master staircase, as guards rarely go through there. Take the bags up the staircase and toss them into the left corner by the door on the roof.

Once all 8 bags are up in that corner, it becomes very easy to transport them out at this point. Just be sure to STAY CROUCHED, otherwise guards can still notice you on the 2nd floor through the skylights.

Once you get all 8 bags up to the spawn area, transport them out via the zipline and voila! You are done.

Gold is worth $589,000 on Death Wish, a decrease from older versions where it was $610,000, still a lot of money however!

After planting the 6th bag of Coke, it becomes very easy to ECM rush the rest of the heist, rush the last two bags, get to the office, pop the vault and leave if you want just the experience!
Outro and notes
Orange's guide to the locations of the items on Day 3: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=408887285&searchtext=Framing+Frame

This heist is easily worth upwards of $10,000,000 - $12,000,000 if you have a team of four and get 9 paintings and the gold out of the vault. Using the guide above, hopefully you can happily stare at this screen:

If you have a team of four Ghosts with fully tricked out ECMs, you can easily rush Day 1 without worrying about the cameras or guards as it's quite easy to get in, get the paintings, and get out before your ECMs run out.

I always advise you to take 3 guards out on Day 3 as soon as possible. The fewer the guards, the less chance of you getting caught!

There is a small latency glitch on Day 1 of the heist where you may toss a painting to the roof but to your partner it's on the ground. What the host sees is what matters. Keep this in mind. So if the host tells you that the painting is on the floor IT IS ON THE FLOOR.

Multiple runs were used to make this guide

Hopefully this guide will assist you in completing Framing Frame on any difficulty, good luck and happy heisting!

EDIT - 4/9/15 - Several edits were made to accomodate the new skill tree and the introduction of Preplanning into the heist.

Ausie, this guide is two years old. The game has been updated quite a bit since then.

Nooby guide but it works. I suggested updating once you've played the maps a bit more.

So this is what happend. Followed the guide, on the last day on a pro job deathwish, all on my own too. After I easily found the items, and set them up. The vault, was in the bedroom. So wow right? Overkill loved me then, so I used the couch to hide the bags so I didn't have to run back and forth so much, turns out. That last bag I needed to put in. Got stuck behind the couch, and there was no way to get it. So I spent a literal hour trying to grab it, just wasnt possible.. So close, yet so far ;~;.

Framing Frame has been ruined due to the fact that the AI now stands in front of the vault for 4-5 minute periods, walk around for a bit, then do it again.....and again. So, to get the gold, just add another 40 minutes. But the payout will be 8.6 mill offshore and like 2.1 mill spending. I'd rather just play Firestarter then Rats and cook all 7 bags and wind up with more XP AND money. Nice going Sunshi$ studios...
