All endings and achievements guide
By fadiekay
This guide includes a story and characters synopsis and trigger warnings. I have tried to keep spoilers out of this as much as possible, but be aware there may be some. General content warning for the game: This is a very overtly sexual game (the steam version is a bit tamer than the full version) with graphic depictions of male same-sex relationships and sexual interactions. There is blood, gore, and physical violence throughout the game. There are specific sections of the game containing sexual assault and rape. I have marked where those things occur in this walk-through.

Story Overview

The beautiful island of Midorijima was once a place where people lived in harmony with nature until the Toue Corporation took over and forced the island's residents into the shadow of Platinum Jail. In this walled-off megaresort, the wealthy wallow in luxury.

Aoba is a young man living with his grandmother, working part-time in a junk shop while his peers join gangs or immerse themselves in virtual reality. All Aoba wants is a peaceful life, but strange things are happening in Midorijima, and soon he will have to fight or lose everything that he holds dear.
Gameplay
First off, please pay attention to the content warnings on this game, as they are no joke. Keep in mind that all the endings in this game are pretty hard reading, even the good endings. I cried more than once playing this game. The bad endings are very brutal, and some of the characters do pretty awful things no matter which ending you are going for.

As with all VN, you will have to play through the game several times to complete it and get the entire CG collection. When you first start the game, 8-bit sprites of Aoba and Ren will walk out on the opening screen; as you complete the routes, 8-bit sprites of the other characters will be added, they will walk out in the order you complete their route Following Aoba and Ren (his Allmate).

Access the main menu in game by hitting M. You can access all options from the menu or via short cut buttons listed below:

Space: Hide text
A: Auto Play
Ctrl: Skip
N: Fast Skip (takes you directly to the next choice)
R: Return to previous choice
B: Backlog
D: Open Save/Load Menu
S: Quick Save
L: Quick Load
G: Glossary
F: Toggle Fullscreen
C: Config menu (settings such as volume)
T: Quit to title
Esc: Exit game

As you play the game, you can check whether you are on track for a good ending or a bad ending by checking the menu. On the menu screen at the bottom right, you will see a brain; the color indicates the ending you are on track for. Red is bad; blue is good.

To complete a route, you must watch the closing credits at the end all the way through, or it will not register as completed. If you quit before the credits are complete, you will have to complete the route again from your last save and watch the credits. Each ending has its own song.

The game autosaves at each choice you make, so when you play, you can load from an autosave to make different choices to get through faster. Use the skip feature to get past the dialog you’ve seen before quicker. Though you may want to save it after the opening credits so you can start from there in following playthnroughs and not have to watch it every time.

If you follow this guide, you will get all but the last achievement. The final achievement is obtained by clicking into the CG library and opening the “Congratulations” CG

He did “stupid things” with Aoba when they were younger and implies that Aoba has good fighting skills. Though Aoba no longer behaves that way and refuses to join Mizuki’s Rib team, they remain close friends.

Sei (you interacted with him in only one route, but he is briefly seen in all routes)
Age: 23
Blood type: A
Height: 175 cm (5' 9")
Birthday: April 22
Star sign: Taurus

Sei is the result of genetic experimentation by Toue corporation. He seems disconnected from reality and distant. He is kept in the Oval Town in the center of Platinum Jail and used for nefarious purposes by the evil Toue.

Tae
Occupation: Doctor
Height: 156 cm (5' 2” )
Birthday: December 3
Star sign: Sagittarius

Tae is Aoba’s grandmother, who raised him. She seems grumpy on the surface but has a kind heart. Though she is small in stature, she has a large personality and can intimidate those around her when she is angry.

Toue:
Occupation: President Toue corporation/Owner of Platinum Jail

Toue is the main antagonist of the story. He does whatever he can to advance his own agenda. He states that he “simply wants everyone to be happy and live in a world without sadness or fear,” though his actions belie this sentiment. He also states that “life is merely a game and everyone in the world is a piece on a chessboard.”
Common Route
There are four main routes and two hidden routes in the game. The four main routes are for characters Koujaku, Noiz, Mink, and Clear. These main routes can be completed in any order. I prefer to complete them in the order of characters I like most to the one I like least, as that is how their 8-bit sprites will appear on the title screen. My Prefered order is Clear, Noiz, Koujaku, and Mink (I have very strong feelings about this order and why the last character is last in particular); feel free to complete them in any order you like. Below you will find the common route with the choice marked with the initials for the characters in parentheses to indicate which choice leads to which route.

Common Route:

I smack her hand away. (C, N)
I hesitate. (M, K)

Why the Umbrella? (C)
Are you a magician? (N,M,K)

I fight back. (M, K)
What is this guy, twelve?! (C, N)

I hear someone on the stairs. (M, K)
I hear something on the roof. (C, N)

I try to talk him down. (C, N)
I tell him to get lost. (M, K)

I call out to Koujaku. (M, K)
I call out to Noiz. (C, N)

When Aoba regains consciousness in Mink’s hideout
Trigger warning: Sexual assault

I can’t go along. (C, N,)
I don’t have a choice. (M, K)

I say something. (C)
I keep quiet. (N,M,K)

I want to get inside. (N,M,K)
“Did you really hear me?” (C)

I walk up to Noiz. (C, N)
I glance at Noiz. (M, K)

I look for Clear. (N,M,K)
I call his name. (C)

I draw some of them away. (M, K)
I go to help. (C, N)

I hesitate. (C)
I do as Mink says. (N,M,K)

The Noiz and Clear routes lead to these choices
I Think of Noiz
I Think of Clear

The Koujaku and Mink routes lead to these choices
I Think of Koujaku
I Think of Mink

This choice will finalize the route; just select “Think about” and the character name for the route you want to follow.
Clear
Character description:
Height: 180 cm (5' 11")
Birthday: February 20
Star sign: Pisces

Clear appears to fall out of the sky in front of the Hum-Drum junk shop at Aoba’s feet. He always wears a gas mask as his grandfather told him never to show his face. Due to this, he thinks he must be deformed and is very insecure about his appearance. He behaves in a very odd, erratic, and child-like manner and refers to Aoba as his Master.

Endings:
I scold him harder. (Bad)
I listen to his side of the story. (Good)

You're overthinking it (Bad)
Are you afraid of something? (Good)

I just look at him. (Good)
Bad ending trigger warning: rape, extreme violence/mutilation
I grab his hand anyway (Bad)

When using scrap on Clear chose anything for the bad ending letting the choices expire gets the good ending.
Noiz
Character description:Age: 18
Occupation: Information broker
Blood type: B
Height: 179 cm (5' 10")
Birthday: June 13
Star sign: Gemini
Allmate: Usagimodoki

Noiz is a German ex-pat living in Japan. He is from a wealthy family. He suffers from a condition that makes him have little sense of touch. Because he couldn’t feel pain, he would often take things too far and hurt others. His parents considered him a disgrace to the family and isolated him, not allowing him to interact with others. He eventually ran away; his isolation has also left him emotionally stunted. He has many piercings.

Chose the answer in bold for this section.

I tell him to put water on it.
I drag him to the sink.

I tell him to knock it off.
I tell him how I really feel.

He looks angry
He looks unhappy

Endings: This route has the most endings, three bad and one good. I would like to note that the answers seem backward; the answers you think would be good take you to the bad ends.

You aren’t given a real option for these questions as both answers are the same.

Do you just want it to end? Yes
Do you just want to give up? Yes
Do you just want to rest? Yes
Do you just want to sleep? Yes
Do you mind if we never wake up? No
Do you mind if we stop trying? No

These are the real questions, I have only included the answers lead to each end.

Do you mind if we give up?
Yes. (This will take you to the other endings.)
No. (This leads to a bad end, in that you just get dumped back to the main menu)

We can’t give up?
No, we can’t

No matter what?
No matter what.

Ever?
Ever.

Why?
Because we can’t (Good)
Because it’s wrong (bad)

Bad ends:
Why is it wrong?
Because it’s just wrong.

What do you want?
The real world. (bad end 1)
Bad end 2 trigger warning: blood and gore
A comfortable world. (bad end 2)

Good end:
Why can’t we?
Because it’s not over yet

When will it be over?
That’s not up to us.

Then who is it up to?
Use your brain.

Who are you? (this is another nonchoice question)
I’m...
Koujaku
Character description:
Occupation: Freelance Hairdresser
Blood type: A
Height: 186 cm (6' 1")
Birthday: August 19
Star sign: Leo
Allmate: Beni, the cardinal

Kojaku is Aoba's childhood friend; he is kind but stubborn, and he cares very deeply about his loved ones. He is the illegitimate son of a yakuza leader and was the only heir. He was brought to his father’s estate, where he was forced to undergo a painful tattooing process. He is very popular with women who will wait in line for hours to have their hair done by him. He is also known as a ladies' man.

Chose the answer in bold for this section.

Endings:

I let Koujaku help me
I try to manage on my own

Trigger warning immediately following the next choice: Sexual assault

I say something
I just stare at him

I hold on tight
I try to think of another way.

Bad ending trigger warning: nonconsensual sex acts (I differentiate this from rape here as he seems willing but is in a mental state that would make him unable to consent)

"Don’t give up" should be spelled correctly for the good end, misspelled for the bad ending.
Yes
Think again
Mink
Character description
Occupation: Ex-Convict
Blood type: O
Height: 189 cm (6' 2")n
Birthday: September 26
Star sign: Libra
Allmate: Tori the cockatoo

Mink is from a Native tribe; his people grew herbs that could be used to give people a sense of peace. Toue, who has been working on creating various mind control technologies, attacked Mink’s tribe in an effort to learn their secrets. Because of this, Mink is single-mindedly focused on revenge. He will do anything to exact that revenge even though he knows that his actions are wrong and actually disrespects the memory of his people (sorry for my prejudice against him showing here, I don’t like him, or his ends justify the means attitude)

Trigger warning for Mink’s route: Rape by intoxication, rape by violence, physical assault, torture, gore.

Endings, chose the answer in bold for this section.:

I get ready.
I ask where we’re going.

I don’t know what to say.
I tell him I don’t want to.

I don’t know what to do.
I still try to fight.

For all the following choices, choose “Don’t help” for the good ending and “Help” for the bad ending.
Hidden Routes
These routes can only be unlocked by completing the main four routes (Koujaku, Noiz, Mink, and Clear). To prevent confusion, as there are other options mixed in that were not available in the main routes, I have put the complete route here for Virus, Trip, and Ren. You should choose the answers in bold. I have purposely left out a character description of Ren; by the time you’re done, you know where to look for the character description.

Character descriptions:
Virus
Occupation: Yakuza
Blood type: AB
Height: 183 cm (5' 11")
Birthday: February 23
Star sign: Pisces
Allmate: Hersha the cobra

Trip
Occupation: Yakuza
Blood type: B
Height: 185 cm (6' 1")
Birthday: May 3
Star sign: Taurus
Allmate: Welter the lion

Virus and Trip are “friends” of Aoba; they met him when he was a young “troublemaker.” They are members of the Yakuza and work closely together. Because of their similar appearance and dress, people often mistake them for twins. Virus and Trip share a single route with a bad end only.

Walkthrough select the options in bold:

I smack her hand away.
I hesitate.

I brace for impact
I Protect Ren

No, not at all
Not really, but...

Why the Umbrella?
Are you a magician?

I fight back.
What is this guy, twelve?!

I hear someone on the stairs.
I hear something on the roof.

I try to talk him down.
I tell him to get lost.

I call out to Koujaku.
I call out to Noiz.

When Aoba regains consciousness in Mink’s hideout
Trigger warning: Sexual assault

I can’t go along.
I don’t have a choice.

I pick up Ren
I check my coil.

I say something.
I keep quiet.

I want to get inside.
“Did you really hear me?”

I Open the bag
I leave it alone

I walk up to Noiz.
I glance at Noiz.

I look for Clear.
I call his name.

I draw some of them away.
I go to help.

I hesitate.
I do as Mink says.

I feel guilty
I feel lonely

I’m worried he might be malfunctioning.
I’m worried about how he’s feeling.

I Answer Ren
I pet Ren

The choices here are marked separately as the routes deviate. Choosing Virus and Trip choices here will lead you to their end; they only have one bad ending.

I’m pissed. (Ren)
I’m overwhelmed. (V&T)

I use my power. (V&T)
I fight the urge. (Ren)

Virus & Trip trigger warning: rape, violence, physical restraint, bestiality (kind of the animal are their allmates so in the world of the game not real animals)

I can’t fight anymore (V&T)
I can’t give up (Ren)

Ren endings:

Answer all the questions correctly for the good end and incorrectly for the bad end.

Ren bad end trigger warning: Gore, cannibalism (? he is an allmate but takes the action in his human form as seen in Ryme earlier in the game.)

I've tried to get the paths of Ren, Trip and Virus but i can't seem to get it to work. I don't get the option for "I open my bag", "I feel huilty", "I'm worried he might be malfunctioning" or "I answer Ren". I've made my way to the point where i can choose what path i take with all the characters exept Ren, Virus or Trip. (This is after the talk with Tea about Aoba's abilities and hes thinking of who to talk to). I've played it through a couple of times and i just can't seem to get it to work. I don't know if it matters but i do have the patch that uenscensors the game. Is there anything i can do to get their paths?

Hey, just wanted to mention that Noiz's endings got tagged incorrectly. The "Real World" ending is the bloody one.
I was playing this game with my boyfriend watching along and I was waiting for the Comfortable World ending to hit me with something raw and hideous, but it didn't happen.

Don't pick any options when you scrap into Clear, let it elapse.
