India Gate King George V Statue
Installed under the India Gate Canopy in 1936 the statue of King George V has been subsequently removed following protests in 1968. Proposals to replace it with a statue of Mahatma Gandhi have not yet been confirmed.

This asset was commissioned by ohenry251 for a fictional city inspired by the layout of Sir Edwin Lutyen's 1915 plan for the capital of British India in New Delhi.

This asset is designed to fit with the other assets commissioned by ohenry251 which I have brought together as an 'India Gate' collection.

To place this prop search for "George V Statue" with the 'Find It' mod.

I've tried to make this asset as realistic as possible and therefore the geometry tri count is high and the textures large. All of the texture elements have been created specifically for this asset in order for full control over the final look.

Please try this asset out and if there are any problems let me know in the comments below.

I don't think that, I'm just disgusted with the way the British have operated back then. You're good, I promise.

I also did not see the part where it WAS indeed removed. My bad

@Tiar/A This wasn't created as a celebration of British rule it was commissioned and as I pointed out in the description it was removed In 1968. What you say is true but please don't think that I support such behaviour just because I've created the asset. Maybe by putting it on the Workshop has highlighted the injustices of the past and inspired discussion of it.

The British treated the Indians like scum. Hopefully the real thing has been removed.
