Steam Community :: Screenshot :: Found a sliver of Plains along the shore of a Measdows biome. I swam out a ways (almost drowned) and it extends out quite a bit. I raised the terrain and 're-vegetated' it to get this little plot going. My question is if plant or creature spawns will now occur on it. Deathsquitos come to mind lol

Tell that to the squttos and Fulings

If there were no creatures spawning before there should be no creatures spawning after you terraformed and built structures. Plants, landscaping, buildings &c. do not influence creature spawns. The only thing that influences creature spawns are most fire sources, workbenches & wards, and they are used to suppress spawning where creatures had been known to spawn prior.

I went back to expand the area some more and it's a good thing I was paying attention. Deathsquitos and Fulings have 'arrived'.

Yes - I used Bench-Be-Gone, totally organic with a zero carbon footprint.

I will keep adding land for the foreseeable future as it will likely be my Plains farmland.

Added some more land but no sign of any creature spawns

Yeah, skeeters will probably spawn. Fulings probably as well. Not sure about Lox, but it seems big enough now.

By "sliver' I mean it was about the size of that bench covering structure.
