Introduction

Racedepartment recently published an excellent article [www.racedepartment.com] on the Formula cars in AMS2. Whilst I have no talent or ability at skinning vehicles, others have and have already done so for all the formula cars in AMS2.

F-Vintage Gen1 (1967)

There is a skin pack by Damian Baldi on Racedepartment, but it was designed for the old AMS2 skin system. The skinpack was updated by members of the AMS2 Skinning Project Discord, for functionality with modern versions of sim. You can access their repository at https://discord.gg/MsgXXGWmdv



F-Vintage Gen2 (1969)

Similar to the Gen1, the gen2 pack requires the custom files available at the AMS2 Skinning Project Discord Repository

I know that this class is meant to represent the 1988 season and that it would be counter-factual to have these skins on cars with turbochargers, but the skin pack is high quality.

All the cars have thumping great v12 engines. Whilst not realistic to the real season, it doesn’t sound like a problem to me. 😉

Thanks a lot. I'm pretty new to AMS 2 and I was looking for real skin packs for the open wheel classes. This game is great, just needs more content and a career mode.
