When you have reached Mission 24: Deaths Overture, you will face a deathly trap near the end of the mission. It is pure trial and error when you step on the rocks, so this image might be helpful.
The image speaks for itself. Green means you are good to go. Red skulls mean you're going to lose health or you will be taunted. By stepping on the blue rock, the gate ahead of you will open.

This is not a complete solution, you still have to open the second gate and turn off the fire coming from the walls.
1. Plate before the northeast stairs should also be colored blue, as that opens the second gate.
2. You have to run across the hallway with fire coming from the walls, and step on the plate left of the torch. If you do that with Cooper, he will die. You can only run fast enough with Sam or Mia.

[P.S.]

Press Control to holster whatever weapon you're holding temporarily, which enables you to run while heaving said weapon ready. If you let go of the Control-key, you will immediatly draw your weapon again.

Heres another tip, pressing the gun hotkey G when you have your gun out will make you reload with out having to press the icon a real life saver!

Another tip, that i don't know if the game explains: Pressing Alt and hovering the cursor over to an NPC will show their field of vision. But if you press in a spot with the cursor while holding Alt, it will highlight certain NPC's FOV's, which highlight if they can see that spot you marked. The spot will also turn from a ? to a Number, which means how many NPC's (Civilians and Enemies) can see it. It can be useful for figuring out your next move without Trial and Error

If it is explained, i have no idea, but at the time of writing this i am in Mission 2, the farm where you rescue Samuel, if you crouch at a (Apparently) wheat field with the scarecrow or the green plants on the "semi-top" right of the map, you won't get spotted, even if you put a body in there, which i tried using Samuel's, and it worked!

In the mision, when you are infiltrate the outlaws stronghold, before you kill the boss in the tower, lay/use the snake ahead of gate. All banditos on horseback in the second wave will be stunned.
In the mision, where you make the Sanches free (jail), go with Kate on the northest place, just below the guard. You will be spotted, but Kate sidetrack many guards. You can kill them easily form inside jail.
In many mission, you can use easy trick. Use dead bodies or firing for entice the guards, for example behind corner, and kill them with Johns or Sanches gun. Very good trick is using Sanches ability stun up 3 gays in building.
