Introduction

Having translated all three Dishonored games into my native language, I noticed numerous typos, grammatical errors and inconsistencies in the original English text. I also noticed outdated text compared to its counterparts in games and novels. Since translation tools I used were specifically written for game localisation and were not publicly available, I realised that I could contribute to the community by correcting the text, incorporating tweaks and community-made mods.

After researching and correcting the text, I contacted mod creators and asked for their permission. Once receiving their permission, I invited them to become contributors if they wanted. Dishonored games are already great. However, I wanted to make them even better by adding more polish. Inspired by unofficial patches of the three Thief games.

DDFix is an all-in-one patch for Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. This all-in-one patch includes essential fixes and optional community-made mods. With these various fixes and mods, it will enhance your game and provide you with a more enjoyable experience.

I agree with what you say. However, it is confirmed that the game features American English. Since even they corrected some British spellings from in-game notes in novels, I believe these changes are what should be.

saw this line in the patch notes:
"• Corrected 'theatre' to 'theater' in the The Heart of the Abyss book"

'theatre' is not actually incorrect spelling. It's the British and all other non-American English spelling.
Given that the world of Dishonored is heavily inspired by 1800s Britain, I think British spelling should be preferred over American English.

were is the link for unofficial DDFix patch???
checked the whole thread 3 times, clicked every link on the guide and nothing leads me to the DDfix, used google, google cache, internet web archive and no were to be found

there is no alternative download in pcgamingwiki ( most of the time it have when the file is still on the wild and working )

if there is no unofficial patch to download then this thread should be closed, all those tags are misleading

Just FYI for me the installer crashes after selecting the Steam option and clicking install.
