Inspiring WolfQuest: Pack & Wolf Generators

Not sure which wolf to use for your next playthrough? Stuck endlessly spamming the "Suggest A Name" button for your pack? If so, these two generators have got you covered!

⋆ i. Introduction

Hello there, reader! If you just want to skip straight to the generators, scroll down a bit or use the navigation tool on the right to find what you're looking for; but if you'd like some backstory, I'll make it brief. Almost exactly a year ago now, I discovered a website called "perchance" and created a random wolf generator for WolfQuest. Looking back at it now, I honestly only see the flaws (since that's just how these things go). The text is hard to read, it's way too wordy, blegh.

So, what did I do? I remade it and added a second generator for good measure. These were made in a grand total of just a couple hours, but I'm very pleased with how they turned out and I think they're a BIG improvement from the old one.

⋆ ii. Pack Name Generator

The pack name generator suggests 5 different names for your pack each time you click the button. There are two options for you to choose from: "Natural" pack names, or "Abstract" pack names.

Natural pack names follow a naming system similar to the packs that can be found in-game. Some examples of natural pack names that may be generated include but are not limited to the Deer Pass Pack, Eagle Creek Pack, Birch Valley Pack, etc.

Abstract pack names follow a made-up naming system and do not necessarily have a specific meaning that can be determined just by reading the name, but sound interesting nonetheless. Some examples of abstract pack names that may be generated include but are not limited to the Stormbearers Pack, Moondance Pack, Windborn Pack, etc.

⋆ iii. Random Wolf Generator

This next generator is an overhaul of an old one that I made a while back, as I mentioned in the introduction. The random wolf generator stands out particularly because of the fact that it generates every single aspect of a character for you, from its name to its howls to its specific physical attributes. Every possible coat, howl, shape, ear defect, etc. in WolfQuest has a chance of being generated.

Like the pack name generator, there are two buttons: the "Abstract Names" button and the "Natural Names" button.

Natural names are defined as names that are actually words, not necessarily limited to things that occur in nature. Some examples of names that can be generated as 'natural names' include but are not limited to Robin, Storm, Toffee, etc.

Abstract names include made-up words/names as well as lesser-known words. Some examples of abstract names include but are not limited to Phoenix, Andromeda, Nori, etc.

EDIT 5/13: The new "Building Character" DLC coats have been added, but I have yet to include the brand new disabilites that have been added to the game. I plan to update it soon enough!
