Hello! If you don't know Expanding Fronts, it's a fan project that had made a ton of work to do a sort of "unofficial expansion" project.

The mods adds a lot of Quality of Life improvement, eyecandy and scenario editor upgrades, and faction wise, It splits Geonosians and Confederacy, while adding other new civs (Resistance, First Order, Black Sun, Zann Consortium, New Republic and Imperial Remnants), each one with a new build set.*

(Black Sun, Imperial Remnant and New Republic buildings are on progress)

@CommieCrusher because they choose what they want to do. In fact they have added more Legends civs (4) than Disney canon (2).

Next civs probably will be Trandoshans and Mandalorians

Why do they use canon factions when there are hundreds of possibilities in legends

@joseph 0 chances. Devs has stated multiple times that they don't take civ suggestions, they already had thought about almost all possibility, but they have very limited manpower animating and modelling. Also, small factions like Ewoks, are out of table.

On the other hand, you can play with Ewoks on the [EF] Endor random map, training them on capturable structures.

@adampearlmans go to the upper tab of steam, on products> add a non steam product on my library, then search... button and search for the EF exe on SWGB folder.

The names of the steps may be non accurate cause I don't have steam on english

@FaceFisted yes, it does. The mod mixes old and new canon, so you can choose.

The last patch has brought 3 new civs of old canon (New Republic, Black Sun and Imperial Remnants)
