A small guide that makes your console display our wonderful lord and savior Gabe Newell every time you start the game.

Making Console run on startup.

First off, right click CSS in your library. Choose properties, and click "set launch options". Type into this box "-console" without quotes. The developer console will now open when the game starts.

You can also add other things to the launch options. "-novid" removes the opening Valve logo, and "-windowed -noborder" makes the game run in borderless window. Fullscreen, but you can alt tab smoothly between windows.

Making the script run on Startup.

Open the pastebin link above, and copy the whole text of the script. Next, right click on CSS in your library and choose "browse local files".
From here, enter the CStrike folder and then cfg. If it does not exist already, create a text file named autoexec. Paste the script into this file, and then use save as to save it as a ".cfg". If you can't save it as a .cfg, just make a copy of one of the other .cfg files and edit that instead.
It should look like this:
Make sure to set your Text editor as the default program to edit .Cfg files!
If you already have an autoexec file with scripts in, just paste this above any that use the "echo" command at startup.

When you next start CSS your console should look like this!
(if you cross your eyes a little, it looks a lot better)
If it looks a little scrambled, make the console window larger!

As an added bonus, this will work for any source game that uses the console! Just use the relevant folder after clicking Browse Local Files (the "tf" folder for Team Fortress 2, The "dota" folder for Dota 2 etc.)
