Alternate Game Modes
Peaceful
Won’t spawn enemies or strange portals or catacombs, and you cannot summon the demon.
(You cannot get all achievements in this mode)

Long Moon
Makes the moon 180s instead of 120s, all achievements are possible.

Short Moon
Makes the moon 90s instead of 120s, all achievements are possible.
General Notes
General Game/Guide Notes:
  • To get a dog, give a wolf a bone.

  • Exploit of Humble beginnings pack was nerfed, as rock and tree now have a sell price of 0.

  • Usually when the game says villager, it means adult. I have only used villager when it needs to be a villager. Otherwise, I will say adult. Adults can (most oftentimes) include dogs.

  • If you only have 1 adult, you can spawn a second adult through the 7 card pack rule again. But this will not work if you have two people, including babies or dogs.

  • Travel cart is a random event. But there is one guaranteed at Moon 20.

  • A coin chest is for you coins, it will store 100 of them like a wallet. A treasure chest will take a key, and has treasure inside of it. Treasure seems to include most item cards.

  • Two dogs will make another dog when put on a house. An adult and a dog will make nothing when put on the house.

  • Foil cards have a shiny animation. They typically can be farmed more times and are worth more.

  • Use your cards to separate enemies from each other when they spawn from portals. It will give you a better chance.

  • You can also make walls of cards so that enemies cannot attack you at all. Long lines of items such as coins are ideal.

  • Putting the goblet on the temple triggers the final boss fight. Make sure you are prepared. After you finish the fight, you are free to keep playing.

  • On early runs, I prioritized a few sheds early on so I could stock up on food. This will increase board size.

  • As of now, you can get the goblet from the catacombs or the trader, the latter may be changed in the future.

  • You can keep five animals in a pen. This will keep them locked to one spot.

  • Chicken + Egg = A new chicken!

  • If a listed combo doesn't work, reorder the stack. Some combos needs to be in a specific order.

  • You can grow plants in soil, poop, gardens, or farms.

  • You can move cards when paused. You can again buy and sell them.

  • You can no longer sell coin chests.

  • To open treasure chests, you need keys. You can get them the trader, skeletons, slimes, or the Humble Beginnings pack.

  • Building a market only allows you to sell your items, you cannot buy from it.

Other helpful notes

Food Logic
Least likely to most likely:
  1. Food with status (being used, such as in a recipe, being planted, etc)
  2. Food of which there is only 1 that is uncooked food
  3. Food that is uncooked
  4. Any other food

If you want to keep a specific raw food, put it under raw food you want eaten.

Babies, dogs, adults. < - Feeding order.
