Central Region

This is a map with all preppers connected with only one big zip-line network.

It's a difficult goal to achieve but it's actually possible! It requires al lot of patience, free time and combinations (a lot of zip-lines are connected with the specific range of 350m).

Zip-line: unlock and upgrade

The PCC Lv. 2 is unlocked in "Episode 5: Mama", with it you can build a Zip-Line.



A Zip-Line can be upgraded three times:

• Lv. 1: Connection range 300 meters.
  
• Lv. 2: Connection range boosted (350 meters), Resistance Boosted (50%).
  
• Lv. 3: Connection range boosted (350 meters), Resistance Boosted (150%).

Upgrades require Chemicals and Special Allows:

• Lv. 2: 240 Chemicals, 480 Special alloys.
  
• Lv. 3: 300 Chiral crystals, 1440 Chemicals and 1440 Special alloys.

You need to upgrade only one Zip-Line to boost the range to 700m (Lv.1 - Lv.2 - Lv.1 - Lv.2 - etc.)

Note: whereas Sam was unreachable by BTs in the Original Game, he can be grabbed in the Director's Cut. Now, if Sam is grabbed while he is using a zip-line, he is taken directly to the boss.

How to collect Materials

Special Allows are pretty common material, however Chemicals are the rarest material in the game.

There are few ways to collect Chemicals:

• Deliveries
  
• Terrorist Camp
  
• Ranked Orders
  
• NPCs' Shelters/other Players' Safe Houses

Farming with deliveries:
You can farm Chemicals with the Spiritualist (600 Chemicals every delivery with S rank).


Here is the complete list of deliveries to the Spiritualist:

• 273: Waystation North of Mountain Knot City
  
• 387: Cosplayer
  
• 462: Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City

• 554: Mountain Knot City
  
• 555: Mountain Knot City

Note: The list above doesn't include the Order 296. Order from Mountaineer won't unlock 600 Chemicals special reward.

IMHO, the best deliveries to get the special reward from the Spiritualist are 526, 554 and 555 because you can complete all of them at once if you are fast.


Farming plundering camps:
Another way to farm Chemicals and Special Allows is plundering Terrorist Camp near Evo-Devo Biologist and Old Volcano Observatory.

Take with you x2 Floating Carrier to extend your cargo capacity.


Ranking Rewards:
You can complete Ranked Orders to collect Chemicals.
You have one week to get between 0-1% and 30-50%. Your position determines your rewards: x16 up to x71 containers (3840 up to 17040 Chemicals) for each reward.

Ranked Orders update every Monday at 19:00 (UTC +1).

Usually, there are x2 Ranked Orders with Chemicals Reward every week (the 3rd and 4th Ranked in the list).

To claim a Reward: Shelter/Safe House Menu > Share Locker > Claim Ranking Rewards

Watch out: when you claim a reward, keep in mind all containers are going to be delivered to your actual position. It's better if you claim them in a City or a Distribution Center, or a strategic position.

Note: You have to claim your rewards before the next Monday after the "leaderboard finish". After one week, the leaderboard will be updated and all previous rewards removed.


Safe Houses and NPCs' shelters:
The last way to collect Chemicals is using other player's Safe House or NPCs' shelters.

Making deliveries, NPCs will increase materials in their shelters. I suggest to claim them before reaching the max capacity, otherwise materials will be wasted stopping to increase.

If you are lucky, the game will load in your map some Safe Houses full of materials.
Often, the amount you can collect is 200-1600 Chemicals and 1200-3400 Special Alloys.

Floating Carrier and Zip-Lines

• Floating Carrier (Lv. 1) can be unlocked at Weather Station after Order 27.
  
• Floating Carrier (Lv. 2) is unlocked by getting a 3-stars connection with Weather Station.

You can use a Zip-Line with x1 Floating Carrier at once in the Director's Cut version.


Note: when your Chiral Crystal reaches zero, all carriers will stop working.

Lv. 3 ziplines do NOT extend the range to 700m, and they never have.

What the author meant by 700m is that when you upgrade to Lv. 2 , the range extends by 50m, making a total of 350m.

To achieve the maximum range, you need to upgrade one of the two ziplines so total distance will be 700 meters between three ziplines but you will only upgrade two of them;
Lv. 2 > (350m connection) > Lv. 1 > (350m connection) > Lv. 2 > ... so on and so forth.

The Lv. 3 upgrade ONLY increases the structure resistance.

There is one big catch. If you build this it will not appear in any game except your own. Maybe a stray zip line anchor here or there might show up, but it never brings in even a fraction of the structures from any one player like this. At best, you'll get a few well placed structures you can include in your own plans.

I've thought of making another steam account, sharing death stranding to it, making a strand contract with it and use it to essentially double the effective chiral bandwith amount. Is this doable?
