How to turn off fog

Introduction

Fog increases fps in a game because it lessens the amount of objects and textures to be rendered on screen so it is less taxing on your hardware. More fog = more fps BUT what happens if you don't want the fog and want to see better render distance and the objects? Well here is a small guide on how to remove the fog

How to remove Fog

1. Open up the console by pressing `
2. Type: sv_cheats 1 and press enter
3. Type: fog_enable 0 and press enter
4. Type: fog_override 1 and press enter

Finish

Once you have done the steps then you will see that the fog has gone!
If you want to revert this then enter "0" on step 3.
