FPS bottleneck FIX (Nvidia Graphics only)

FIXING Blasterd Horky borky performance on my computer has lead me to be obsessed with 100% Optimized Pop soda Refreshment (Cities Skylines) Comedy.

I finally cra *cke *d the FPS Bottleneck in cities skylines it was two things Forcing my game to launch with

Rebar (Resizable Bar) from Nvidia

and Changing variables in registry using a Tool to make life easier

MSI (Message Signaled-Based Interrupts)

Follow me and my dangerous Guide for I am not good at wrighting guides lol Making a video soon to help break the Ice of fixing your bottleneck too.

FPS bottleneck FIX (Nvidia only!) 25%-50% more FPS!

I finally did it! spending my time trying hard watching YouTube videos following advice ..

using my time watching over my mom and dads home while using the 4K monitor to game and not playing much on it was worth it .

so if you are interested and PLEASE NOTE! this may or may not work for you because this is very nifty and memory optimization for your system or hardware and being new to this practice or trying out this has got me astonished so much that i will dedicate my time creating a Youtube video on how to do this for it was a long dream to optimize my system to work 100% efficient by not overclocking but ultimate optimization

I noticed that memory is such a very interesting thing in computers understanding a bit but just enough to know that computer communicate CPU->RAM(Virtual + Physical and other) like GPU Graphic's memory etc.. its to long to explain i recommend if you do want to learn more go watch educational videos on that especially how the computer works with ones and zeros etc

but i don't want to ramble here about things not everyone is obsessed like me about how things work , any way the improvement I received in Cities Skylines was so impressive I had to share and going to make a video and doing these two things isn't that difficult to begin with , Excuse my wrighting im in a bit of a hurry and do vidoes better lol but hope this helps and people can follow if you want you can help me set this up ?

IMPORTANT STEPS and notice
(there may be a requirement that this would only work if you have a RTX Graphics card)
For having Rebar or Resizable BAR SUpported. Only available for newer or RTX See Step 2

1 . create a system restore point on windows follow one of the guides on the internet there is tons out there just google it or go on youtube.

Creating a restore point was recommended for me too from the video I watched before doing these tweaks , I believe some might recieve problems but rather be safe than sorry.

2.1 Enable Developer Mode in Nvidia control pannel by clicking on desktop tab on top of the application , then apply and just relax your screen will do its hory borky stuff to set it up after this go to "Manage GPU Performance Counters" left on bottom of the page and select allow Access to the GPU performance counters to all users

2.2 on the bottom right go to system information and please check and make sure if you see Resizable BAR in detail pannel if it says no you probably need to enable it im not entirety sure how but mine said yes you can google how too if need be unfortunately i dont know how. it would show no if supported but then you have to activate it probably in bois and if you dont see it that meens your GPU dont support it.

3.1 If you see (Rebar) Resizable BAR ,

Download Nvidia Profile Inspector ( the heavy lifting I expect came from this tool) but be EXTREMELY CAREFUL changing things here (unless you are knowledgeable of how this work for it can make problems in the way your GPU works just follow the steps I share then you would be good.

3.2 When opening Nvidia inspector

Head to the top right side and select the magnifying glass were it says
show unknown settings from nvidia, a bunch of other setting should be available in the unknown tab . you can now enable Rebar support ,for Cities Skylines (note I dont now what Rebar is or what it does just a guide I followed and it works .

3.3 Note changing this for cities skylines you need to select the profile on the top left in Nvidia Inspector , find and choose cities skylines profile otherwise you would set it up on every game and we just want it on Cities skylines.

Important folders to change varible values almost like Regedit but for Nvidia.

find it under Unkown tab( the feature we just unlocked ) and change it on the right drop down menu on the right ( the same as I show below)

3.4 Activating Rebar in unkown tab

For
0x000F00BA select 0x00000001

0x000F00BB select 0x00000001 (Same)

0x000FF00FF Select 0x0000000040000000

after that hit apply on the top right corner .

this is a bit tricky for some I know but if you wait until i have launched my video maybe that would make more sense any way.


You can go and test the game and see if you have improved FPS otherwise continue with my guide.

I belive all Nvidia GPU,s should use this for it improved my Performance.

4.1
Downloading and utilizing the MSI tool( note Only Nvidia users)

to download this tool you can head over to the link I shared search for it at the bottom for the version there is 2 version 2 and 3 i took the latest one .

4.2 after extracting it make sure to run it as administrator
,check if you can see your graphics model with a checkbox to the right that says msi and is checked then navigate to the right where you see interrupt priority

select the drop menu and select high, then click on apply.

IMPORTANT dont feel tempted to change other settings here for i dont know what it could do for your software or computer, unless if you are a computer expert.

and thats it! again i dont recommend doing this unless you follow my exact Guide

the Rebar option is said to increase fps dont know how but will research it

and the MSI tool (Message Signaled-Based Interrupts)

is editing the Registry changing things to boost the interrupt timing i believe boosting versatility i think.
