Phobies Challenges [1 - 50] (As Of 24/03/2022)

Complete Listed Guide of (the new) Challenges 1 - 50 found in Phobies.

I started this when the old challenges were up and got halfway through writing before the update was made. So here it is now.
Movements and strategies were recorded by the big fans of Phobies at Doubtful Player's Curator.

I also plan on adding little infographics, if I have the time, to each one of the challenge explanations. Just in case my descriptions are not good enough or too vague.

Welcome To The Guide

This guide started off as a Notepad text document that I'd written down brief notes on how to defeat each level, for the event that any of my friends asked for help with a challenge.

There are game guides for nearly every other game that I've ever played and honestly have always wanted to make one.
For your innocent eyes I have hidden all of the puzzle strategies behind spoilers, so that if you only want to look at the Challenge 31 without seeing Challenge 32, you don't need to worry about covering your eyes.

I have found recently through comparing my strategies with others that sometimes there are alternate routes to the same ending, but so far I've not found a puzzle with two completely different strategies, if there is one please let me know. It would be super interesting to see how both play out compared to each other.

(For reference, Challenges that require you to just "win" were the ones that peaked my interest. It made me think that we could solve "win" challenges both ways, via attacking the heart or defeating all the phobies. Alas, 'twas not the case, or I'm an idiot.)

Challenge 1

Defeat Contortio this turn.

• You can only move Jar Cannon so far West, so move it as west-most as possible.
  
• Now using Jar Cannon, attack Contorio from there.
  
• Move Heavo into the Stim Pad, increasing Heavo's attacking power.
  
• Attack Contortio with Heavo.

Challenge 2

Defeat Both Cowbell and Jar Cannon This Turn

• Move Maggie West-Most towards Cowbell Until beside it.
  
• Use Maggie to attack Cowbell.
  
• Move Droney to the opposite site of Cowbell from Maggie.
  
• Attack Cowbell with Droney.
  
• Move Murder Wing East-Most as possible towards Jar Cannon.
  
• Attack Jar Cannon with Murder Wing's Special Attack (Monty).[/list]

Challenge 3

Smash The Enemy Heart This Turn

• Move Grave Digger to the closest Panic Point.
  
• Use Grave Digger's Special (Terrorform) to destroy the obstacle to the direct East of Grave Digger.
  
• Move Staremaster to directly in front of Grave Digger. (East-Most Position, Middle Lane)
  
• Attack the Heart with Staremaster.

Challenge 4

Defeat Spud This Turn

• Move Primate #9 to the furthest North tile. (move North West)
  
• Use Primate #9's Special (Bad Monkey!) to attack Spud.
  
• Move Cassowary to the furthest South tile. (move South East)
  
• Use Cassowary's Special (Caw Claw) to attack Spud.

Challenge 5

Capture 2 Panic Points This Turn

• Move Grave Digger to the closest Panic Point. (Move 1 tile North East)
  
• Use Grave Digger's Special Attack (Terrorform) to destroy the obstacle directly East of it.
  
• Move Razor Mouth directly in front of Grave Digger. (North East, exactly where destroyed obstacle would be.)
  
• Move Razor Mouth one tile forward onto the opposite Panic Point of Grave Digger (1 tile directly East)

Challenge 6

Defeat 3 Phobies This Turn

• Move Eratic 1 tile East. (Below Jar Canon)
  
• Attack Cowbell with Eratic.

*This game depends on which phobies you hit. Like in Pokemon, robot phobies seemingly take more damage from electric based attacks.

Challenge 7

Keep Batula Alive This Turn

• Use Grave Digger's Special Attack (Terrorform) on the South-most obstacle. (South-west from Grave Digger)
  
• Move Grave Digger out of the way of Batula. (One tile North or South East should do)
  
• Move Batula onto the Healing Spa.

*Hint: It's hard to see what your own phobies are standing on top of sometimes.

Challenge 8

Defeat Sheeping Gas This Turn

• Move Staremaster to the closest Stim Pad. (2 Tiles North)
  
• Move Cassowary to the closest Stim Pad. (2 Tiles South)
  
• Attack Sheeping Gas with Staremaster.
  
• Attack Sheeping Gas with Cassowary's Special Attack (Caw Claw) or use it's regular attack. (both hit for the same damage)

Challenge 9

Keep Spud Alive This Turn

• Attack Batula with Spud. (Killing Batula and sucking Spud 1 tile forward)
  
• Move Spud into the Healing Spa. (2 tiles North East)
  
• Move Muffintop as far South as possible towards Spud. (2 tiles)
  
• Use Muffintop's Special (Goodness Me!) to heal Spud.

*Hint: For a phobie you need to keep alive, you do have to put it in harms way.

Smash The Enemy Heart This Turn

• Move Moley Bully 2 tiles directly East. (1 tile South-West of the Heart)

I'm hoping that more challenges are added soon (and the ones from before aren't changed like last time) and that the new challenges include using Phobies that weren't in previous challenges. My first challenge against Doughzer felt new and interesting, and I genuinely love seeing new Phobies, especially since ShineyCat has become obsessed with Phobies and owns a lot more than I do.
