"I took this Photo with my current phone, Sony Xperia, in November 2020. The ambient weather has illusioned as if this 500+ year old Mosque was sitting inside a giant studio. Picture shows the inner courtyard section of the Mosque which was completed in 1505, during the reign of Sultan Bayezid II, the eldest son of Mehmed the Conqueror. The Beyazidiye complex is the oldest Ottoman imperial complex in Istanbul that is preserved in its original form and it is of considerable historical and architectural significance."

@Detective Félix: thank you for your kindness. Yes, i know those places but not yet visited them on foot. I like giant ancient stony structures. Those which are preserved good and one can feel the history it had to go through to reach today.

Regards! :Cleopatra:

If you like Muslim culture, you should see La Mezquita de Córdoba and La Alhambra in Granada. (Spain)

Ps: Beautiful photo. :LDHearts:

@Eminem Jr.:Yes, cats are one of the colors of that city. One can sit on one shadowy corner of those huge inner courts of cool stony mosques; feeding pigeons, tapping on those sweet cats, drinking tea all day long and pondering about all the past civilizations existed there for several centuries dating even before Hellenic times. :CITYOFBRASS:
