CK2 Artifacts

Beschreibung
A collection of my favorite artifacts from CK2 ported over in all their overpowered glory. Includes historical Zoroastrian, Norse, and Hermetic artifacts, as well as a few others. Since this mod is intended to give your characters god-like modifiers, the artifacts can only be acquired through decision, available from game start.

Artifacts currently included in this mod:

Zoroastrian
• Cup of Jamshid (mixed with version from CK3)
• Babr-e-Bayan (mixed with version from CK3)
• Derafsh Kaviani (mixed with version from CK3)
• Cyrys Cylinder
• Pahlavi Crown

Norse
• Fylkyrian Crown
• Mjolnir
• Andvaranaut
• Gjallarhorn

Hermetic Society
• Emerald Tablet
• Radius Astronomicus
• Cipher Disc
• Magnetic Compass
• All 6 of the highest-level Magnum Opuses

Other Artifacts
• Jade Dragon
• Dragon Amulet
• Spectacles

I highly recommend using the More Artifact Slots mod (found here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2774914093) since a lot of these wound up being pedestal items, so there’s no way to use them all at once in the base game. Alternatively, if you run the game in debug mode, you can make your courtroom hold up to 10 of each non-throne slot of court artifact using this mod, but be warned that you will have to change and save the configuration of the artifacts yourself and reload it each time you relaunch the game. Anytimme you change court styles, like advancing from King to Emperor or moving your capital, it will invalidate the saved layout and you will have to add the additional slots back in (though if you equipped artifacts in those slots, they will still be there, just not visible).

I agree with @the aghma, if we could balance the artifacts and if we could find them on events instead of just click and get them all would be perfect...

@The Aghma This mod probably isn't for you then, sorry. I made this mod because I used to console command myself a bunch of artifacts at the beginning of my CK2 games and this is meant to emulate that. I've only dipped my toes into modding so I don't know how long it would take me to do what you're suggesting. While I admit it might be cool to also have the artifacts show up in the world at some point, that's just not where my interest in the game lies at the moment so it's probably something I won't look into changing for a long long time, at all.
That being said, if someone wants to look at the code of this mod and make a sub-mod or change things around, feel free, heh heh

Honestly, this mod looks great, it fills a real niche that has yet to be properly filled in the game. However, I don't think I can use it unless there is a version/rule-set implemented wherein the artefacts are distributed as usual (so the player is not just hoarding them but encounters them in the world), and unless there is a version/rule-set to have them default-overpowered/patched - they alter the balance of the game far too much as they are, this is made far worse by the fact that the player gains them as easily as he does.

@BoySminemCool If you've got ideas for which files would work better for what artifacts, I'm open to suggestions, but each artifact takes long enough for me to make that I don't really have time to scroll through all the various pictures to find appropriate analogs. Given how little time is actually spent in the royal court, it's probably not something I'm going to go back and change on my own.
