Introduction
NOTICE: A lot of this information is also hosted on the ONISM Wiki: https://www.onism1999.com/wiki/Chad

Dax/Chad/♥♥♥♥ is a secret NPC that can be found in the game, and, according to the developer, has locations specific to each console. It's unknown how many of these locations exist in total. He gives hints to the game's secret 3rd ending, which still hasn't been found through legit means.

While we know some things about this NPC, there's still some things left unsolved. This guide will document what is known the best that it can.

If you have any more information about this NPC, let it be known in the comments!!!

NOTE: It appears the Xbox version of the game has the same locations as PC. The South Town location works the same way, at least. There could be other differences but we don't know for certain.
South Town Location
This location can be found in the PC, Xbox, and PS4 versions of the game. It doesn't seem to work on Switch.

The first location is pretty easy to do, and can be done at any point in the game.

First, head to South Town.

Go to this specific area- the top right of the map. There is a 5% you will get a prompt to pick an item up. If you don't get it, head back to the Overworld and re-enter and try again.

Picking the item up will give you "Aviators?"
This item will not appear in your inventory and is seemingly(?) not used for anything else.

If you go to the middle of the street, you'll find him!

Oh man, you can see me ?
I guess you must be a pretty cool guy then.
Hey listen, come find me in a place a little less public. But I gotta warn you, I usually only talk to chicks. Princesses, especially. So, maybe you could do something about your name of yours, at least.
Come find me when the world ends, I'll hook you up with something important.
Fire Escape location
This location has a few requirements before you should go searching for it. It seems to only be found in the PC version.
  • You must be on New Game+
  • You must be named "Zelda"
  • You must have "Aviators" in your inventory (not to be confused with South Town's "Aviators?")
Of course we have a BIG ISSUE here. While the first two requirements are easy to obtain, the aviators are not. In fact, there is currently no known way to obtain this item. If you figure out how, let me know!

[2019/04/15 23:02] Al0nC0M: Also there are 10 instances of the aviators
[2019/04/15 23:02] Al0nC0M: To increase chances you find them
[2019/04/15 23:02] Al0nC0M: We've moved them around with each update hoping people would find them sooner

If these requirements are fulfilled, you must go into the factory hotel a bit later into the playthrough. A staircase will be there, which you can enter to go into Sammy's room. From there, exit out the window and you'll be in the Fire Escape area. However, before we can reach DAX, we must exit through another one of the windows to go back in the Factory Hotel Dungeon. There will be three windows, choose the middle one. Eventually you'll find your way to where the drinking fountain would be.

Well, that is if you haven't met all the requirements listed earlier. If you do have these requirements, you will be rewarded with DAX replacing the drinking fountain! Hope you weren't thirsty.

So, you found me, huh? I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed.
So, you'll be looking to get into the tower, right? Well, you're on the right path. I can give you the key, but first you must find me something.
I'm looking for a pill. Specifically, a yellow pill. Bring it to me, and I'll give you the keys to the tower.
Simple?
Great.
Go ♥♥♥♥ yourself.
Mt. Town Location
This location can supposedly be found in the Switch version of the game. It's not known how to access it.
Flag Town Location
This location can supposedly be found in the PS4 version of the game. It's not known how to access it.
KNN Location
This is something I recently discovered while datamining the switch version of the game!

It is unknown how to find this legit, and the text box seems to be bugged. This could be because of my illegitimate methods of finding this.

The game checks if a value called "DxGvPll" is equal to 1. If it's true, when you enter KNN you'll get a special prompt and the red pill will enter your inventory. "DxGvPll" will then become 2.

Yeah man you can use the code "yiik" for it. Or try https://discord.gg/4rdSK3qvrA
It should also be linked somewhere on the Nameless Psychosis page or the "YIIK" series on Steam

I'd imagine you'd have to grab the "aviators?" and somehow transform it into the actual "aviators"... not sure how obviously lol. I recommend thinking about the concept of MissingNo in the story as well, the NPCS at KNN are named Ketsuban. Which is Japanese for MissingNo. I'd imagine that's important somehow

So I just started a new game+. I'm hoping to find this ending or somehow further the steps to complete this Dax progression. I used the NG+ data from the KNN ending because I found the red pill in the KNN building in the top left potted plant on the second floor there and I kept it in my inventory in case that mattered. I named my character Zelda. I'll be on the lookout for aviators and plan on doing the South Town Dax appearance again in case that changes somehow on a new playthrough being named Zelda. Is there any other info or advice that might help?

No way, they put Dick Masterson (Dax Herrera) in the game?! That's freaking awesome. I heard the dev was friends with him and knew he did an interview on his podcast, but I wasn't expecting this. I got excited when I first started reading this guide thinking I'd somehow be the first one to solve this third ending with my knowledge of him, since The Dick Show and The Biggest Problem in the Universe are my two favorite podcasts, but it doesn't look like anything I can solve that way.
