SoSCR Maps/Secrets Main & Postgame Guide
By 🌸Mia 桜
This Guide offers the maps for all Areas with the locations of hidden treasures as well as some explanations for some Areas. A lot of the Maps changed compared to the original so I decided to upload my own.
The maps and the information are of my own playtroughs and the japanese wikipedia.
Japanese is not my main language so some things may be translated wrong.

The guide is finally finished after taking some time off and replaying from the beginning. I tested a few things out and tried to find the playtrough on Normal to not loose a single member once and avoid using any Autorevive items. If you find any errors or have feedback I am happy to change and add your contribution to the guide.

General Advice/Information
  • Speed up the game:
Sometimes your game could be really slow. If you want to increase the game speed go to an area and open the map. Minimize the game wihile the map is open. After activating the game again the gamespeed like walking and some actions in fights are increased. You have to do this everytime you close and start the game again.
  • Difficulty:
At the start of the game you can choose one of 3. This doesnt affect enemies. They will have the same stats and skills and do the same damage. The only diffrence in the difficulties is that you get "Light Orbs". At Beginner you get 3 at Easy you get one and at Normal you get zero. It isnt an item you recieve but a gimmick. The purpose of this "Light Orbs" is that if your complete party gets whiped you can choose to activate it and it will revive your party with full mana/HP and your divinity will be at max again. This doesnt reset your lifepoints! If one of your party members dies again after you used the light orb effect and he only got 2 hearts overall he will vanish.
  • Backups:
It is always good to have one backup of the class you are using. If one member dies I switch them out with the one at the base. In everyone of my playtroughs I got 2 Cleric's, 2 Wizard's, 2 Knight's, 2 Fighter's and 2 Ranger's. I only got 1 Samurai because I let my maincharacter start with it who cant stay in the base to recover. If your maincharacter dies you can only instant revive him which costs a lot of money. I also had 4 Freeman staying behind to level up at home which helped me a lot.
  • Plan your Party:
This game is not to be underestimated. You will struggle a lot but it is good if you try to have a plan when you start. There are multiple guides online or here at steam aswell that will help you get a general idea. You got a front and backline with 3 each. Try to positionate them right and dont make a team with only knights and Fighter or only Wizards. Combination is the key to survive and beat it.
  • Class Change:
Combined with the point above. Class change is really great and it makes it easier to beat the game. I tried beating it without a single one and it took me longer and was way harder. The only downside is the character looses half of his level. And until he reaches the same level again you cant skill stat points but you wont loose the already skilled ones. You can do 5 Class changes for each character and you can do it all the time but the cost increases. From 1000 for the first 4000 for the second and so on. You can combine the skills of the used classes how you want and make a really strong character that way.
  • Immortal & Spirit & Elemental
There are a lot of enemies that are one of these 2. Most of the time you can see it and a few characters will also mention it. If your weapons dont have a Spirit or Immortal damage buff you cant damage enemies with this type. The only way to damage them is if you buff your weapons with the Wizard or Cleric Skill. You have to do it for each character one by one and for every battle. Often it is better to use a weaker weapon but you can hit enemies with hit than a stronger and you cant hit anything. Check the monster encyclopedia or try things out if you are unsure. There are also some enemies Butterflies, Tricolor that can only be attacked with elemental damage. check your weapons that they have fire water or thunder as bonus dmg.
  • Slow and Steady:
This is one of the games where you need to chill and play it slow and carefully. It is often better to return to the base early after you have explored a lot of the map or after a hard battle than loosing a teammember and having to either wait for them to be healthy again at the base and use a backup or completly get whiped. At some areas I went back home multiple times just to not loose my progress. You also have the function to redo your actions in a battle. This speeds up and skips the actions you would normaly see what your enemies does. Only do that if you are sure you wont miss anything. Maybe the enmies used a spell to dispell your buffs and you missed it and do no dmg or have no avoid anymore. Also never underestimate the enemy Maybe one fight you will have lvl 20 enemies and suddenly the next look the same but are at level 30. Always check before you fight and better use flash escape if needed.
  • Level isnt everything:
Most of the time I beat Lineages when I was way lower than them (but not to low). If you changed class 1-2 times already and are only level 15 you are often as strong or even stronger than when your character would be level 25. Nearly all the time my party was 10-30 levels lower than most enemies (lineages mostly) and it often worked without problems.
  • Levelrequirement
Revisited added a new function to get bonus items if you beat lineages below a specific level. The level you can see in the lineagehandbook and it will also tell you when you start to fight the lineage if you are to high and ask if you want to drop your level ONLY FOR THIS BATTLE. Afterwards your level will be the original so your wont loose anything. I managed to beat every lineage with this and earned a lot of good items and bonus EXP. Sometimes you have to leave a lineage for later when you switched classes a few more times.
  • Training
Sometimes you will feel like you are to weak and cant beat a lineage or even normal enemies. This is normal for everyone. My favorite training spot is at the
Mausoleum of Flames. Try to find Zombie Workers and beat them while holy light is active. Only let one of your heros fight while the others defend. A lot will spawn and you will get a lot of exp relatively safely. I used this place till I had the chance to use Black Palace to easy train.
  • Save and Restock Items
There are only a few Auto revive items. Try to buy them and not take them with you until late game for some really hard battles. (I never end up using them but oh well). There are also Fake Dolls which will protect you against Charm attacks also check if you have enough with you because a lot of battles will be easier that way. Butterfly Powder & Whistle Ball are your best friends and you should always keep some with you. Many boss and regular fights ruin your formation or curse your equipment.
Mausoleum of Metal
This is the dungeon where you first arrive and where the starting quests begin. I will only write down hidden items as well as some special things. It is always good to explore corners cause a lot of time chests will be there (visible or hidden)

Mimic Land isnt available to visit early in the game and is a really hard place which you should only visit later in the game.
Mimic Land:
Hidden Chests:
X06Y08
X06Y14

In Mimic Land there is also a quest to do.:
The Shard Quest
After you collected all Black and/or white shards the mimic can help you finish this quest. To make the Boss Mumic appear you have to solve the riddle. Hit the tower at: X08Y04 → X08Y04 → X05Y04 → X09Y02 → X011Y04. And he should show up at X18Y02..

Lineages
  • Steel Blind Frog - story progress boss upon reaching the strangers town for the first time. This one will get defeated by Riu mostly.
  • Cursing Soul - story progress 2nd boss. This boss is a good introduction to the lineages. Attack carefully and keep your party healed nothing to special
  • Cheap Master Thief This one appeares if you have the item "Black Sweets" (buy from the guild shop) while walking trough the underground. Keep yourself healthy and he isnt a problem to beat.
  • 5*: Rotten World Tree I found this one at the M.o.Metal S at the hiding spot X:09 Y:08 but you need the Oasis Origin item you get from the Mousoleum of Sea Jormungand. At this time of gameprogess your party shouldnt have any problems. He casts some spells but just bruteforce worked for me.
  • Ferocious Quick-Tempered Beast This lineage appears lategame after you beat Odin (lategame). It does massive damage for his challenge level and it was one of the later ones I attemped. Keep the "Force Guard" effect up and use Multi Avoid to survive. It can wipe your party if it hits you and you arnt prepared.
Mousoleum of Forest
This is the next "easiest" Dungeon in my opinion. There is 1 Event Quest where you have to find 5 items for Orc Brothers to get access to a Treasure Place. I will write down the locations of these items (some are hidden) and the locations for each brother as well. There are a lot of hidden paths which you cant access until you got the "Rockbell's Eyes" from the lineage.

Lineages
  • Princess of Plants Encountered randomly in the Frost Forest S area or ambush spots in the same area. Weak to fire and it ocasionally heals itself.
  • Grand Forest Guardian Found by ambushing in the Frost Forest E area. It can attack your backrow be careful! Heal yourself and I mostly set up avoid with my healer. It drops the Rockbell's Eyes, you need to walk trough certain dead ends mostly found by tracks.
  • Cassowary Found by ambushing in the Firebird Lands area. It heals itself every five rounds, but otherwise a easier one. It drops the Gold Liver questitem you need to bring back to Gnuta.
  • Guardian of the Deep. Another story event boss. It does a lot of DMG like others and can oneshot your low HP units. Avoid helped me survive and continue to heal if needed.
  • Tyrant Chief Gnuta went crazy after a while and can be found in the Frost Forest N area after you talked to an orc at X05Y17. His physical attacks can be deadly so try to use Black Wall and use Avoid and Slow. It can also cast Ice Blast. Continue to heal and dont underestimate him.
  • Ancient Guardian Located at Forest of Rituals (X14,Y10), you need to get access to Mausoleum of Storms that he shows up. IT does a lot of magic dmg and is acompied by 6 wisps. I buffed my party and keep Force Guard up. I mostly tried to focus the wisps first.

Valley of the Ruined
This is in my opinion the best place to visit after the Forest. A lot of Doors you can only open with the "Bend Crowbar". Dont worry you will find the exact amount for each door.
X10Y03 Lineage that shoots arrows as you when you walk near it.

Lineages
  • Hidden Sniper found at White Shadow Town X10Y03 before you reach it it begins shooting arrows at you. The battle isnt that hard if you attack him and use avoid as well as Black wall for him. If you are unlucky he can do up to 100dmg so keep a good look at your HP.
  • Decapitation found at Black Shadow Town X08Y10. He has a high crit chaance but can normaly only attack your front row. Sometimes his allies move in front of him. Try to buff your party and try to hit him with longrange attacks.
  • Cheater will ambush you at Valley Interior X13Y14 after you opened the gate. He has a high crit chance and has long range attacks. It can oneshot your healer or wizard easily so try to play slow and careful. He also can scrumble the formation so keep a Whistle Ball ready just in case.
  • Crimson Magician found at White Shadow Town, X17 Y16 and is by far the easiest lineage in this area. Cast some Wizard spells but dies fast.
Shadow Palace
This Dungeon should be visited after VotR. Compared to the other area you will need to be able to hit Spirits. The slimes and Knights coutn as those and you either need the Spirit Weapon buff of your Cleric or Weapons to hit them. You have to enchant each character every battle one at a time.

X02Y09: Murfin. It is a lineage type you dont have to fight. After talking with him he asks you to bring him a "Pretty Stone" as compensation for what your guild friend did to him which can be found in regular battles or even bought at the guild if needed. He will open the closed door at

Lineages
  • Predator of Shadow this one isnt to strong and can be found in Abandoned Area 1 & 2. You need to cast the "magic Weapon" skill of the Wizard or spirit weapons to dmg it. A lot of slimes spawn so try to finish it fast.
  • Cowardly Blue Thunder it will ambush you if you take to long in a battle in Abandoned Area 3 & 4. It can dispel magic so keep up Force Guard but you dont need a Spirit buff this time but has high avoid.
  • Golden Magic Knight it shows only up if you carry the "Heart Stone" with you. You can find it in ambush chests with a gem on it. It has high physical dmg and can attack multiple times at once up to 400dmg. It also casts Magic break to reduce your magicdmg to half and calls allies. It is one of the hardest to beat lineages and I kept it till later. Keep up black wall forceguard and buff yourself with avoid. It is also a spirit and one of the strongest.
  • Wheedling General this is a story event lineage. It isnt dangerous and respawns often and can be used as training spot.
Mousoleum of Flames
Many immortal and spirit enemies appear throughout the area. Either use Weapons with the correct buffs or use your Wizard/Cleric skill.
There are a few quests. Some help you progress but the one you can miss is the Ifrit's Silence quest which reduces the dmg taken by walking over lava. (From around 50 hp to around 10) To get this Key Item you need to smash all the tablet locations with Flame Wedges. They are consumable and you need one for each tablet.

Lineages
  • Flaming Beetle you will find this one in Hot Tier Crater or the bridge ambush spots like X15Y06. It can attack your back row but has low HP. Ice attacks are very effective against it and it drops the "Flame Orb" you need to continue the story.
  • Insect Cremation found at the ambush areas in Warm Tier when you have the "Flame Orb". It is weak against Thunder but also not a hard boss just occasionaly heal yourself and it drops the "Ice Orb" which allows you to open the heated doors.
  • One from the Land it will randomly show up in Hot Tier North or South. It is a Wizard, Cleric and Dancer combination. It has high crit chance and uses Wizard and Cleric spells. You need to be able to hit "IMMORTAL" to damage it. Dont underestimate it.
  • One from Purgatory it is encounter randomlöy in Hot or Warm Tier Crater areas. It is a combination of Fighter, Knight and Samurai and can easy do up to 300 dmg. Use a lot of Avoid and heal your party. It can easy take out your team and it also "Immortal". I mostly healed and used Fire attacks to kill it. Take your time with it and run away if needed.
  • Plundered Prototype Event-triggered encounter in Hot Tier N, X16 Y10. It does heavy dmg and is tanky. Play slow and buff your party but it can only use short attacks so try to let it be behind his allies.
  • Flame Lizard can be found at ambush spots in the Salamander Habitat Area which you should only attemp after collecting the reduced fire dmg item. It has a lot of hp and can hit multiple members with one attack. Try to let it stay behind and buff your party with Avoid and weak aganst ice.
Mousoleum of the Sea
You cant use magic while you are in this area. Here are a lot of enemies that are either Spirit or Immortal so you will need the skill buff from your Wizard/Cleric or Weapons that can hit them.

X10Y10 You will need a talisman you will get from Marilith after advancing the story.

Lineages
  • Ghost Captain can only be encounter by finding a ghost ship and prolonging the fight till it shows up. It is also an "IMMORTAL" creature but even though you cant use spells you can use your skill to allow your party to hit it. It is mostly easy to beat with attacks if needed use scrolls to buff your avoid.
  • Drowning General will be found in the ambush areas in Sea Cave 100m & 500m. I needed to kill avout 5-7 Kraken that it showed up. It has high physical attack and can abduct your party members keep lot of "Fake Dolls" in your inventory to prevent this. Use Black wall and Avoid and heals and it is easy to beat.
  • King of the Depths is found in Sea Cave 1000m in the ambush spot x15Y10. I killed a lot of merman till it showd up. It is weak to thunder and an easier lineage compared to others. Buff yourself with scroll and heal with items as well if needed.
  • Living Legend is an Story event lineage in Sea Cave 1000m X12Y14. It is immortal and has high attack power as well as high avoid and uses Poison, confuse & paralyze gas and will also abduct your party members. It is has really high HP and heals every 7 rounds for 2000HP. I used Black Wall as well as Holy light to keep my party healthy. I buffed my party as high as possible with avoid and hit scrolls. Focus the other monsters first and try to contineu attack him. I was around lvl 28 when I attempted this battle.
  • Corpse-Eating Dragon will show up if you take to long in a battle in the Sea Cave 1000m area. It drops the item "Oasis Origin" you need for the tree lineage (Mousoleum of Metal). It also abducts your party members but isnt that dangerous otherwise. If you want to fight is finda weak enemy in 1000m buff your party set up ever divinity and attack it with full power or XCharge.
Ghost Town
This Dungeon is tricky and you have to end battles quickly or a dangerous Lineage will arrive and can easy slaughter your party. There is also an area where you get poisoned after entering but you can find some gear to avoid the poison damage.

X13Y15 2 Lineages

Lineages
  • Guide to Hades is found at New Ghost Town 1F X14Y06. It is Immortal and can attack up to 5 times in one turn but with buffs it isnt dangerous. Same tactic as mostly buff your party and bruteforce it.
  • Crossing the Thread is found in the Spider Nest at X09Y08. It summons a lof of monsters and has high avoid. It heals itself every few rounds. Buff your party and easy to win but after beating it you arnt able to go home. You will be thrown down to fight another 2 lineages. Only attemp it if you are ready for that.
  • Sleeping Rotten Dragon is Immortal and found at the Bottom of the Nest at X13Y15 together with the Lineage Fallen Demon Princess. It has high HP and attack power and high critical hit chance.
  • Fallen Demon Princess shows up together with the Dragon and should be focused first. It is physicaly weak (like most casters) but it spells are dangerous. It can dispel magic so keep your Force Guard always up and it can also charm you party and even more can cast Requiem which can instantly wipe your complete party. I used Spirit Wall in combination with Black Wall and as usal Holy Light and buffed my party while focusing her. Do it slowly and refresh your Force Guard immediatly if needed.
  • Evil Spirit Knights is randomly encounterd in New & Old Ghost town if you take to long in a battle. It is one of the most dangerous lineages so escape if you are still weak. It can abduct your party members and can cast Requiem, ruin your Party formation (keep your whistle ball ready) and has one of the highest physical DMG in the game. It can do up to 900dmg in one attack. I only attempted to kill this one after my party was nearly finished with the story and had good equipment. Always keep up Black Wall and Buff your party before it shows up by finding weak enemies. Never underestimate it with his instant kill REquiem or physical Attack.
Mousoleum of Ice
In this area you can still use skills compared to the old version one but it costs you a % of your HP to use them so Holy Light should be activated each battle. There are 2 Lineages that will show up after killing a lot of specific enemies.(Kobolds or Cyclops)

2nd instantly afterwards battle against Chevalier Deuil.
After the battle you get the Black Soul Vessel and can go back to the Mumic to get the ending with the Black Soul or white Soul which one you prefer.

Lineages
  • Berserker will show up after you beat a lot of Cyclops in the Temple of Giants where you first arrive. It can only attack your front row but good physical dmg. I mostly let it stay behind other enemies and healed my knight if needed and otherwhise attacked it normaly. It drops the "Giant Key" to open the door.
  • Insane Devourer shows up if you take to long to finish a battle in the Werwolf Palace. It has a high crit chance and does up to 2000 physical dmg in one turn and can throw poison feathers (range attack]. I beat if with finding a weak encounter buffing my party and only attempting it when I has "Light Veil" to protect my back row. Black Wall is a must have and try to keep other enemies in front of it and buff your party as much as possible. Try skipping it till late game.
  • Dragon Descendent King is found in the Dragon Palace B at X05Y07 It will do high physical dmg while in the fronst row with high crit chance and cast magic while in the back row. Try to let it stay behind others and use Spirit wall, Holy Light buff your party and I used Force Guard as well just to be save. Not to hard if it isnt in the front row otherwhise it can easy oneshot a member.
  • Vengeance of Blood will show up after you killed atleast 15 Kobolds in the Werewolf Palace areas. It seems the kills also counted with multiple trips cause it showed up after only killing 1 when I came the second time. Always let it stay in the back row and use the same tactic as with the Insane Devourer. Buff your party and dont forget to heal. Holy Light and Black Wall were really helpful and the Kobolds joining him will try to jump into your attacks be careful.
Mousoleum of Storms
You will reach this place while riding a dragon and you cant return with Butterfly Wings after you arrived. On your way to here you will have a fight against a lineage and a few weak similar enemies.

X14Y12 Can be opend from behind
X14Y14 Warp to Ritual Forest

X09Y09/X09Y11 Unlocked after beating the 3 Lineages at the top
Ambushpoint: Lineage TriColor can be found

Lineages
  • Dragonia you will fight this one while you are on your way to the Mousoleum of Storms. I uses Breath attacks that are aoe but it isnt really dangerous if you heal your party and dont get to low.
  • Heir of the Prideful is found at the 6th floor at X09Y05. It hits hard and has high avoid and can abduct your party members. I remember that it also healed itself after a while.
  • Magical Ship is the first of 3 lineages in a row. You will find it at the top of the dungeon. It has deadly range attack and will mostly attack your backrow which can do up to 700 dmg. I used Black Wall and had nearly everyone is a Ninja to not get hit. After the fight you will immideatly fight the next 2 lineages. You wont keep your buffs to the next battle so dont use to much Morale/Mana.
  • Old Magic Creature are 2 wisps with the same function. It can cast heal and each can do 150-200 AOE dmg. Try to focus these first.
  • Thinking Grim Reaper you met before in the Mousoleum of Flames. It can cast Ohma Impact, Multi Avoid and the dangerous Requiem to instantly kill you if you are unlucky. As usual it can abduct your party members and does a lot of dmg. Focus the wisps buff your party and use the Dancers skill to refresh your Morale if needed. It will be a long battle so keep your divinities and buffs up and can also ruin your formation. (Whiste Ball!)
  • Cursed Crystal will show up in battles if you take to long AFTER you beat Charon. It does a high magic AOE attack so use Magic break just in case. Compared to the others it is weaker but most likely you will be weakend after the last battle so it is better to come back afterwards. Escape if needed and keep your buffs up.
  • Special Lineage: TriColor. It is one of the hardest to beat and the only one which I defeated after finishing the mainstory. It can easy OHKO your party and also dispels your buffs so always try to keep atleast Force Guard up.. It heals itself every few rounds and has really high Evasion. To make it worse compared to the original SoSC you can only hit it with Elemental Dmg. So your weapons need Fire Water or thunder as dmg Spirit or Immortal dont count!. I defeated in the level requierement but only attempted it when the Elemental weapons had around 200 dmg or more and I had light/dark veil to protect my backrow.
Ark of Eternity
To advance to the endfight you need to beat all 3 lineages on each of the 3 towers who have unique restrictions and activate the switch behind them. The order can be choosen freely and can be done in multiple tours.

X09Y09 Lineage you have to beat to advance
X09Y11 Waystone to the ending fight (depends on which Vessel you choose)
after activating all 3 switches (Black Palace after beating the game)
X09Y18 Warp Anti-Skill Area.
X04Y11 Warp Anti-Magic Area
X14Y11 Warp Poisonbound Area
You take damage at all areas when you use a skill.

The only way to go to the next area is trough the Hidden Door.
X11Y14 Hidden Door
X08Y12 Lineage Ol-Fick
X06Y08 Switch after beating Lineage

You cant use spells at all areas

X09Y10 Lineage Noble Maiden
X05Y14 Switch after beating Lineage

Like in Ghost town you there is poisonous fog at all areas. Equip the Detox Equipment

This one is a little tricky:
Easy Route:
Head south and enter the south 1 road.
Then walk to the point where the southwestern room passed by is no longer visible on the minimap → Step back → You can go ahead and hit it as it is
If you go north, you will warp to the vicinity of the ambush point, but if you go south, you will reach the stairs.
When you return, go to the ambush point and go west from there for easy return.

Lineages
  • Guard Dog of the End is standing in your way and has high avoid and decent physical dmg. It has low HP but can abduct your party members. Buff yourself and kill if slowly.
  • Dragon That Burns Time will show up in any of the 3 Zones after you take to long in battle. I encountered it in the Poison ambush area which was the eaiest place to beat it. It can act twice in one turn and recovers HP every 8 turns. It has decent dmg and can oneshot a few members. I equipped anti poison gear and buffed my party before it showed up. Holy Light should mostly be enough to heal your party but play it slow.
  • Immortal Devils are 2 at the same time and is found in the Magic Area 5. They both summon a lof of monsters and can nullifie divinities and buffs so always keep force Guard up as well as Sword Bond 2 cause both use Ohmas Impact at the same time! Both have high physical attacks, abduct party members and cast Paralyze, Sleep and as mentioned dispel buffs. They also regenerate HP every 9 turns. The summoned mosnters will defend the Lineages try to focus one at a time.
  • Chief Vassal is found in the Anti-Skill Area 5. It can ruin your formation and does really high physical AOE dmg with high crit chance and can attack your back row as well. He also got recognition like some other lineages. If needed use scrolls, whiste ball and always keep Black Wall and Holy Light up as well as Light or Dark Veil to protect your back row. I mostly used the skill of my night and attacked and buffed my party otherwise.
  • Demon Princess is found at Poison Area 5. It also ruins your formation (whistleball or Whistle skill of Dancer) casts Ohmas Impact and summons sucubbi who abduct your party members and also casts some spells. Compared to the others it is the easiest but keep everything up and it is easy.
Postgame
After beating the maingame with your choosen ending you will wake up at the Ark of Eternity and talk with Riu. She tells you about the Black Palace. (White Palace in the regular SoSC).

Riu also gives you the Illusory key and tells you about a new dungeon at the guild. At each Vessels home (Guild, Palace, Medell Co) there will be a new dungeon with restrictions. In each you can only use divinitys of the choosen Vessel and mixed like Miracle cant be used.
After beating the boss of the dungeon you will be teleported to the endfight and after beating the Vessel you didnt choose you will be able to see another ending.

The reward for winning the ending fight is that all monsters get +10 levels, your members restrictions in statpoints got increased and a new dungeon will appear near every waystone (Except Ice).
The danger of this dungeons is that you can only leave after beating the Boss who isnt to be underestimated. Butterfly Wings wont work and each Dungeon has a unique gimick.

At Black Palace you will be able to fight Dranserk at the highest place and after freeing him from the dark influence new dungeons open up for you.

I will cover each Postgame dungeon once at a time except White Palace cause this one is only available in the original SoSC.
M.o.t. Boundary
M.o.t Boundary is the neutral dungeon, accessed from the Strangers Guild with the Illusory Key you get from Riu. You can only use Neutral Divinities like Flash Escape but no others like Holy Light or Black Wall.

Before you enter this dungeon make use of the Changet Set option. You can equip 2 Weapons on each of your characters which you can also switch mid battle. Equip Weapons with Elemental (Fire,Water, Thunder) and your normal with a Spirit/Immortal buff in the other slot. In this place are a lot of butterflies and like with TricColor you can only hit it with Elemental dmg. Have some "Smoke Bomb's" ready in case you need to escape. They also love to curse your weapons/armour so have Butterfly Powder ready. There are 4 Floors with a lot of stairs.

To get to the Boss you need to explore the map and start your journey at a specific point and end it at the Endpoint. There are a lot of closed doors and good items around so the best tactic is to explore everything.

The exact coordinates are from X11Y11 to X09Y11 without touching any stairs. It is similiar like in the M.o.Ice.
Poiney Bethel
Poiney Bethel is the light dungeon, accessed from kingdom palace with the Illusory Key you get from Riu. You can only use Light Divinities here like Holy Light but others like Flash Escape which counts as "Neutral" wont work here.

This dungeon hase some gimicks which you maybe remember from other dungeons. First you have to find Holy Key's to open a lot of locked doors. Most of them are visible but a few can only be found by inspecting the place. A lot of doors are also invisible and you have to inspect them to show up.There are also unremovable traps which will hurt you and some teleportaion, move traps and whirls to make your exploring harder. Most enemies die fast (except butterflies) and the dungeon isnt that dangerous and the writing on the doors give a lot of clues for the rooms.
X16Y09 Locked Door
X07Y05 Holy Key

Ease your mind and unwavering go forth Similar to the place at the Ark of Eternity. You have to take a step back and forth to get teleported. Often check your map.
X09Y13 Holy Key
X06Y07 Holy Key
X16Y02 Holy Key
Divine revelation leads astray, path beyond revelation
Dark temptation leads astray, led by wicked allure you shall reach unknown land, travel opposite past desires learn resist temptation
This area I dislike the most. Not only move the arrows you around but there are also invisible teleports. The goal is to find the last 2 Holy Keys that are in that area and can be reached while exploring little by little.
X10Y03 Holy Key
X19Y11 Holy Key

After you got the last 2 keys you can open the 2 doors at X03Y17 where the teleport to the dungeon boss is located.

Overlord's Eden
Overlord's Eden is the dark dungeon, accessed from Medell. Co. with the Illusory Key you get from Riu. You can only use Dark Divinities like Black Wall but no others like Holy Light or Flash Escape.

The goal of this dungeon is to open the locked doors at X10Y04 in the Meeting Rite Spot Area.
To get them to open you need to create an X in front of it and activate the Red Butterfly afterwards.
You need 2 Blue and 2 Gold Buttlerflies to be in the exaxt place. If you activated the wrong sequence just reenter the dungeon and it will be reset.
The exact coordinates which will bring you to the blue Butterfly Zone where you have to leave are:
X15Y:06 --> X12Y07
X18Y06 --> X09Y05

The exact coordinates which will bring you to the gold Butterfly Zone where you have to leave are:
X05Y06 --> X11Y05
X02Y06 --> X08Y07

Black Palace
This dungeon can be accessed from the Ark of Eternity. After the first time visiting you can always teleport back here via the World Map. At the peak of the dungeon you have to fight 3 bosses in a row. And another one with a short break between where you can heal. The area of the bosses is surrounded with thundertraps that only strike you once when stepping on it.

X10Y08 Can be opened from the back side
X10Y00 Switch to unlock the door to the next area
X10Y06 Stairs to boss area
X03Y01 Switch for the cloosed door at X06Y02
X10Y10 You will fight 3 bosses in a row here. After beating them the door behind you closes and you cant escape until you defeated the boss at
X10Y14 The battle against Dranserk

Lineages:
There is only one lineage in this place compared to others with multiple ones. It isnt that hard to defeat but finding it is the real challenge and takes a lot of time and patience. You have to defeat Spriggans to make it appear. You can only find them in ambush spots and I had to kill atleast 15 when it showed up. I kept up Forceguard and Light/Dark Veil to protect my backrow and just attacked. It is a Spirit but your weapons should have this buff. It also heals itself and loves to cast requiem. It isnt that dangerous around lvl 30 (Perfect Level requirement)
Dark Frost Forest
This place is mostly dark and a few eternaltraps are laid out otherwhise it isnt really special.
Dark Forest is where you find the Mage of the Round at X11Y16
Sealed Area
The entrance to this dungeon is in the Palace Stone at (X:18, Y:05).

This labyrinth is litered with random portal traps, hidden doors and one way walls.

To get to the boss you need to take the teleporter at X19Y11 which teleports you to X17Y16
In this dungeon you will fight the Knight Of The Round at X17Y18.

Teleporters:
X14Y01 <-> X08Y12
X06Y18 <-> X05Y03
X10Y18 <-> X02Y07
X09Y06 <-> X14Y13
Spirit God Tier
Located in the Mausoleum Of Flames at (X:08, Y:10).

This dungeon has a lot of Lava like the Mousoleum of Flames. You will fight 2 Bosses in this dungeon compared to others.

The first in your way is "Corpse" at X:15, Y:13.
The main Boss of this dungeon is the Light God found at X:09, Y:18
Overlord's Town
Located in Ghost Town at X:01, Y:12
This labyrinth has poisonous traps and is completly dark equip your antipoison gear and switch it before you fight the boss because the room were you fight him is without poison.

You fight the Dark God at X:02, Y:16.
Dragon King Valley

Located next to the Valley Stone at X:02, Y:15.
This dungeon is set inside of shipping containers and is all dark with a few hidden doors in it, the boss area is clear where the boss is located.

The Dragon God is found at X:09, Y:18.
Non-Lineage fights
There are a few fighs that arnt linages but count as BOSS fights so there is no level requirement but are really hard.

The Nameless Elder Lucifel
You fight him at the mousoleum of Metal after meeting him at the guild.
I kept up Forceguard, Sword Bond, Holy light and even Black Wall up all the time and buffed my party as much as possible and also activted Whistle. He loves to mess your party up and has Anticipation so you cant use your skills and spells on him more than once. If you try to use Slow or an attack spell of your wizard/cleric he will counterattack after the first time be careful. He also cursed my equipment atleast once so have Butterfly Powder ready.

Kyo
There are 2 fights against him.
1. The first is at the Valley of Ruins against him and his party. He hits like a truck so I tried to keep black Wall up if he was in the front. Focus the Wizards and Clerics in the backline with your ranger or with your spells. They love to buff Kyo and dispel your buffs keep Force Guard up and they fall really fast. I focused Kyo after I built up as much avoid as possible and used slow on him and had already a lot of Ninjas to finish him fast.

2. This one caught me offguard on my very first playtrough but after knowing what this fight can it isnt that hard if your party isnt to low. Kyo isnt alone but instead of his old party got Georgios to fight with him. I ignored Kyo completly and only focused on Georgios.
After Georgios is dead Kyo shouldnt be a problem.

Georgios
Georgios loves to dispel your buffs and attack your Backline and tries to oneshot one or more characters. His physical damage is high so always keep BlackWall up. Forceguard should also always up as well as Whistle because if loves to messes your formation up which can easy kill your Caster. Sometimes I had to heal my knight because he protected the rest of my party and could stand one attack. Buff your party use Holy light and I also had Light/black Veil to protect my backline. Force Guard was also good just to be save. Lategame divine Weapon made fast work of it.

Soul Meister White/ Soul Meister Black
You fight both at diffrent places but the fight is nearly identical. You can only hit them with Elemental weapons (like Butterflies) so you need Fire, Water or Thunder on them. Another nasty thing is that they have Anticipation which made the fight a little harder. I used the same tactic for both. Used Light/Dark Veil Holy light Blackwall Soul Wall used Force Guard and Whistle and buffed my party with Divine Weapon/Armor as soon as possible. After that I buffed them for Hit and Avoid 10 times. The battle isnt that hard if you take it slow.

Chevalier Deuil
You encountered her before in some story sequences as friendly and this time you fight for the Black Vessel with her. The fight against her is immediatly after the Soul Meister Black battle but you get healed up before it starts. You can also only hit her with Elemental Weapons and she loves to cast some nasty spells. Dont forget to keep up your defenses like in the Soul Meister Battle.

Alm Medell (Overlord)
If you choose the Neutral or Light ending you fight against Alm before the ending. This fight isnt really hard but tideous in a way. Forceguard is like in most fights a must have and keep Sword bond up you will need it often. Whistle is also a constant up buff because the spirits that aid her dispelled it and mess up the formation. She also heals every few rounds which is a little iritating. I mostly focused the spirits and than Alm in the end. I used Holy light, light Veil black wall sword bond and Giant when I attacked with my wizard to finished a weakend one.

Marilith (Carrion Marian)
If you choose the Neutral or Dark ending you fight against Marilith before the ending after Alm without a break. Similar to Alm's fight I used Forceguard all the time and also Spirit Wall because she loved to use spells that had a high chance to instant kill some characters. She healed a lot and loved to buff herself. Always keep Holy light, light/Black Veil Spirit wall up. I buffed my party and healed them a lot with avoid hit and divine armor. Just take it slow but compared to alm you dont need Sword bond.

Peide
He does a lot of damage and hits multiple times in one turn and also loves to attack your backline, I always use Light/dark Veil first and holy light afterwards which is enough to heal if he manages to hit you. I used divine Weapon and Divine Armor and killed him slowly with the assination of my 3 dmg dealers.

Lucifive
He is annoying and you met him before als Nameless Elder. He loves to dispel your buffs so always use Forceguard immediately. Light/Dark Veil is also a must have and just in case use whistle, He and his summons often curse the equipment of your characters so use Butterfly Powder as soon as possible otherwhise you can die easily. Sword Bond is also needed but he doesnt cast Ohms Pact that often. He also heals himself every few rounds and hits hard. Divine Weaon/armor are also great to do a lot of dmg. He loves to cast spells so if needed use Soul Wall but for me I was tanky enough. As a few Lineages do he also lowers your Morale so often use Sword Song of your Dancer to get it up again.

Quasar Alpha (Dranserk
In my opinion the hardest fight in the game. Similar to the others he loves to dispel Buffs (Force Guard!) ruin your formation (Whistle) and attack your backline. (Dark/light Veil). He and his 2 summons love to buff themselves with Divine Weapon/armor on themselves which makes them really tanky and hit hard. SwordBond is needed as well. I buffed my formation and used Whistle (or whistleball as early as possible. It is a really long fight and you can easy die if you arnt careful. A lot of times your equipment will be cursed as well so have as many Butterfly Powder with you as possible and immediatly use it on the needed character. (Fast Item from Clocker is really useful) Similar to Lucifive he and his partners cast some dmg spells so Soul Wall is a great help. As a few Lineages do he also lowers your Morale so often use Sword Song of your Dancer to get it up again. As many other strong enemies he heals himself a lot every few rounds. His allies buff not only his armor and weapon but also his magic resistance. Force Break can help as well. When he was low HP or to many allies where around I attacked with my Wizard and his Master Cast.
My Party Skills Divinities
There are multiple ways to play and finish this game. Be it without Class Change or finish without doing all of them. I planned my Party to use all and give every Character exactly the Skill he/she needs. The fantastic thing is you can requip them as often as you want outside of battle after you have learned them on the specific character. I let my Characters end up with the class from whom I need the most skills. (Like Ninja for Damage Dealer.) I often switched some skill around and tried to unlock the needed one as early as possible with Secret Tech. V.

My knight is soley there to tank attacks and dmg with Iron Defense thats why he has 2 shields equiped tries to get a lot of armor, evasion and HP.

The Wizard is here as expected to do spell damage but more often to buff the party. Most of the time I used his Mana to buff my party and only attacked when no more buffs were needed. If kind of felt like a second cleric so dont forget to also level PIE.
This characters Skills I moved around a lot depening on which Spells/skills I needed. There are a bunch of skills that are useful and I change my skilled Skills for every major battle and for most dungeons depening on what needed. For example in the underwater I didnt equip spells.
I also let her equip a shield with spell dmg improvement and also for some needed armor.

As the name suggests this characters role is to heal and support the party. His highest stat was always PIE which improved his Heals but also is great for a lof of Dancer Skills. Dancer Skills are a must have in a lot of fights (especially Whiste/Sword Song). I didnt give him Wizard but instead Clocker to get the few spells I need and even more the great skills. Similar to my Wizard Character I often moved skills around and even had sometimes no Wand equip. (not enough skill slots).

The Divinities that I wanted to have especially are:
X Charge 1
Giant 1
Black Wall 1 or Black Wall 2
Soul Wall 1
Holy Light 1 or Holy Light 2
Dragon Fist 1
Sky Dragon 1
Sword Bond 2
Light Veil

  • Giant 1 was enough for me and I only activated it when I attack with my Wizard.
  • X Charge is nice for TriColor and some others to finish them off with an attack that cant really miss.
  • Black Wall and Holy Light are both nice to have at 2 but also work well at level 1. I mostly took Black Wall 2 to have it up for 2 rounds and healed with my Cleric if needed.
  • Soul Wall is a must have for Magic Defense and some conditions the enemy could throw at you.
  • Dragon Fist is great to reduce the Hit and Avoid of enemies with Anticipation because you can only cast Slow once on them. One should be enough but I choose 2 to get the Neutral Ending.
  • Sword Bond 2 is in my opinion a must have because there is atleast 1 battle where 2 Ohmas Pact will be cast at once so it is needed to avoid cursed equipment. And the 30% physical dmg reduction is just great.
  • Light Veil is a life saver in a lot of battles because a lot of enemies love to attack your backrow and even hide and evade is no 100% preotection so you can easy avoid dieing that way. I also prefer Light Veil to Black Veil because the bonus HP if really nice.
Finishing Words
This is the second guide I ever created with the Classes Guide for SoSCR being my first one.
It took me a long time to finally add the last few missing postgame information after a year of replaying and finding the way to finish the game with this party including the postgame without loosing a single member on Normal.

I often switched Skills around and this is also the party I attacked each Boss for the desired ending. I saved before each Dragon and finished it and the endfight with the same level party.

Stranger of Sword City was my favorite game in the past for it difficulty, music, characters and art and SOSC Revisited improved/changed a lot of things. It is a really hard game and the many negative reviews show that a lot cant handle the difficulty.

Thank you for reading my guide and I hope it helps you finish the game the way you want and good luck in your adventure.

Thank you Invictus Potens for the information about the Princess of Plants

Great. I love the time and effort you put in to give us really useful feedback for story and end-game. I refer back to this many times.

Thanks for all your hard work, chief.
