How do I deal with psionic proxies? Where is the plasma mentor? Can hunchback mutants look sexy in lingerie? All this and more in this very brief and not super useful guide to acquiring a sorta underwhelming psi mentor.

Every Hole is a Goal to Explore
I was level 16 at the time of doing this. 75 in temporal, 100 in the other three. I used a mix of metathermics, thought control, and grenades to go through the dungeon. Hopefully when people look up how to find the spell they'll find this with all the tags I've pasted to this dumb thing.

Go west after the loading screen.

You'll hear telekinetic punching. You'll need to go upwards to the next section before seeing a lunatic in a room punching into a hole. Ta-da, you've found the dungeon where the plasma mentor is.

Proceed downwards into what I will call the initial room.
Initial Room and the Toxic Below
There's the computer console in the first room. I messed with it at first and didn't see anything helpful until I came back and realized it might've made going through the area a cake walk. My problem may have been not clicking on the correct console, who knows. Mess with it.

Your goal is to get to the otherside of the initial room you've jumped down in. The right side that's blocked off. One of the lunatics there will drop the plasma mentor.

You'll be fighting a number of enemies with psi. I recommend using a mix of psi-cog interruption and mental breakdown. Mental breakdown will double the effect of thought control abilities and if you have locus of control you can make the next thought control spell Area-of-effect. Psi-cog interruption is devastating in a fight against another psi-user and mental breakdown will stun them for 3 turns unless you hurt them.

There are psionic proxies.



These can be killed or disable with thought control abilities or temporal. It will take about 6-10 times to kill the person summoning their proxy, so I don't recommend grinding them down. Evade and stealth past the ones on the initial floor. They also lurk in the ducts. They reform right after you kill them.

There are ladders and air ducts leading down into a biohazard area. It's filled with toxic gas and you'll take more damage from other sources the more stacks of the debuff you aquire.



I hope you have bio resist, if not you can probably find clothes that've dropped. Stealing from the dead is fine and it's good for the enviroment. All those weapons, clothes, and gear clog up the insides of rathounds, the poor babies.

Grave rob your enemies: a mask, boots, and outfit. The top right corner of the gaseous area here has a way leading up to where people are summoning the proxies. I found a air duct that had me jumping down a shaft into what I think is the best route. Getting back up that shaft will be impossible if you have low agility so have 1-2 hard saves at hand.

There will be a proxy and two lunatics on the top right. The proxy will one shot you if you're taking the debuff from the toxic. Be careful of the exploding barrels. There's a doorway leading up to where you want to do with a blue-zone to click on to go upwards. It's kinda hidden.
God is Bread and He Remains Bread
Once you've gotten to the other side of the initial room you fell into (either through the computer consul at the beginning of the dungeon or going through the biohazard area at the bottom of the ladder/ducts), you're gonna kill everyone. The mentor will drop from one of their bodies. You can either go back the way you came or proceed through though it come to something of a dead end.

Let's take a peek at Unit 731's latest and greatest
After you've cleared out this section there's a pipe you can crawl through and wipe more enemies, and then another area that has biomutants (there's a LOT of them in the last section where there aren't any human enemies left. I didn't have trouble after throwing a magnesium molotov and aoe spells). Bio resist will continue being useful here.



There's some oddity exp hidden around so I'd recommend exploring it. The biohazard area doesn't have anything special hidden in it from what I saw.

One of the doors in the last room leads right into two tchsort dudes, they'll kill on sight so have saves ready. I'd just avoid them and head back the way I came.
