BO1 Movement Guide 2022 (Video)
By Zaiydo
Everything you need to know movement-wise is in this guide. This was made with the assumption that the learner has little to no experience with this type of movement, but well-experienced runners from other CoD titles will learn some things as well.

But looking back at the chapters I see which chapters you're talking about. The inputs for both are the same. When you hop after a strafe jump it's to regain stamina. Same thing applies when you bounce/bhop on a slope, but the bounces/bhops give you a significant boost in speed (especially on downward slopes, hence why I gave the two different names).

In other cods, bounces don't require you to jump when hitting the bounce, it just does it for you so long as you have enough speed when hitting the spot. That's why i hesitated to call it a bounce in this video because you have to jump manually and also the fact that it can be done on any kind of elevation/slope. Everyone has a different name for it. Some call it a bhop, some hop, and some still call it a bounce.

wait so what's the difference between a hop and a bounce? Great guide btw, idk why you have so many people dogging on you in the comments.

thank you so much for this guide, learning this way of movement may or may not be useful regardless it is very fun and very interesting to try to understand and apply it in my game.

This guide has also helped me a lot in bo2, as I understood the basic concept of strafe jumping, but now that I understand strafing on the ground is important it has made the learning process significantly less frustrating.

Hello I am Eudaimonia, I would like to apologise for my retarded behaviour in this forum. I have an IQ of about 34. I struggle to understand the most basic concepts but I am happy zaiydo could lay out all his reasoning's in a very logical manner, now looking back at it I can now understand him. Much love from Eudaimonia.
