Seeking the Raven

Where are the raven messages, what do they mean, and how to get the related achievement

Raven 1

This file can be located in the level "The Trench" at node d0.


Make sure to download this before completing the level. Once you get back to the menu, you can decrypt the message - but you have to decode it twice if you want to know what it says. Cyberchef[gchq.github.io] is a great tool for this.

Raven 2

Poe

Here's the setup I used to beat this mission:

Deck:
* Mask
* Leech
* Sniffer
* Spoon
* _B.UZZK1LL
* Rainbow (Required, password is random)

Hardware:
* Echo S - Series (2 slots) <-- not needed, feel free to swap for more ram
* Predictive processor Mark II
* Memcap 7


So, this is a bit of a rough map. You have 3 crows that fly around, and make a triangle. If you're in the triangle, or at any vertex, the triangle goes red and the sysop can always find you. If you're not in the triangle, the crows fly around, and the sysop pings and finds you anyways.

So, basic strategy here is: Decrypt the two encryption nodes, break the 200 health firewall blocking v0, drop a rainbow on v0 to crack the password.

Morrigan will chase you around, and drop fresh Euler gates just... everywhere on this map. Generally speaking, just mask up, dance around as much as you can, and drop a spoon on each of the encryption nodes. When you get a chance, get up to f0, sniff the path to v0, and drop a buzzkill or another attack on the f0/v0 path. Once the two encryption nodes are down, pop up to v0 and drop a rainbow on it. Then, rainbow + mask as much as you can, and play "can't catch me". Take a euler gate every so often if you need to in order to build distance. If you do as I did, and drop 6 slices into rainbow, it'll take 10 turns to open the vault. But when the password is cracked, you get the goodies and don't have to run back up to it - joy.

Once you got your loot, bail out and/or try your luck dropping leeches/drains on the financial nodes for some cash on the way out.
