Brutal Doom 64 (2023 UPDATE) [RUS\ENG]

Данное руководство создано с целью распространения наиболее успешной сборки модификации Brutal Doom 64 среди поклонников оригинальной игры. ВНИМАНИЕ: достижения Steam в этой версии игры работать не будут.

This guide is made with goal to spread the last succeded assembly of Brutal Doom 64 among fans of the original game. ATTENTION: Steam achievments won't work with this version of the game.

Brutal Absolution [RUS]

Состоит из 5 модификаций:

Способ установки:

1. Скачать оригинальный Doom 64 в Steam
   
   
2. Нажать на название игры правой кнопкой мыши, нажать на "Свойства"
   
   
3. Перейти в Локальные файлы и нажать "Обзор"
   
   
4. Вы попадете в папку с игрой. Удалите ВСЕ файлы из неё.
   
   
5. Перейдите по ссылке и скачайте архив:
   Brutal Doom 64[drive.google.com]
   
   
6. Открыв архив, вы увидите новую папку Doom 64. Откройте её. Перенесите все файлы из неё в папку с игрой.
   
   
7. Вернитесь в окошко свойства Steam. Выберите общие. И в параметрах запуска введите следующую команду:
   .\base\DOOM64_x64.exe -conf -fullscreen -file 1.pk3 2.pk3 3.pk3 4.pk3 5.pk3 6.pk3 exit
   
   
8. При запуске игры перейдите в Brutal Doom Options и настройте параметры крови и расчленёнки.

Поздравляю! Игра успешно установлена.

На данный момент не существует порта официального аддона-эпизода для Brutal версии. Однако порт запланирован, автор будет следить за обновлениями и при выпуске мода дополнит руководство.

How to install:

1. Download original Doom 64 in Steam
   
   
2. Click on the name of the game with the right mouse button, click on "Properties"
   
   
3. Go to Local Files and click "Browse"
   
   
4. You will be taken to the game folder. Delete ALL the files inside of it
   
   
5. Go the link and download the archive:
   Brutal Doom 64[drive.google.com]
   
   
6. After opening the archive, you will see a new Doom 64 folder. Open it. Transfer all files from it to the game folder.
   
   
7. Go back to the Steam properties window. Select General. And in the launch options, enter the following command:
   .\base\DOOM64_x64.exe -conf -fullscreen -file 1.pk3 2.pk3 3.pk3 4.pk3 5.pk3 6.pk3 exit
   
   
8. After launch of the game open Brutal Doom Options and select settings for blood and gore levels

Congratulations! The game is installed.

At the moment there is no port of the official episode addon for the Brutal version. However, the port is planned, the author will follow the updates, and when the mod is released, the guide will be updated.
