Marble World's controls and how to make a marble run, race, or prefab! Part 1!
By stooges57
Hello, reader! Welcome to my guide on how to play Marble World with Stooges57!

Marble World's basic controls

Marble World is a sandbox game for making marble runs or races, "but how do I do that?", you may ask. Here are the basic controls for Marble World:
W = Move camera forward.
S = Move camera backward.
A= Move camera to the left.
D = Move camera to the right.
Left-Mouse click = Place down object of choice.
Right-Mouse click = Rotate camera around or look around, you can use this while moving the camera in a desired direction.
F = Spawn marbles, this only works if there is a marble spawner in the map.
[ or ] = Open and/or close the marble spawner gate.
0 (Zero) = Deletes all marbles in the map.

Making a marble run

Now that you've got the basic controls, you may ask "how do I make a marble run? I have the controls down!" Well, my friend, you've asked the right person! Here are some steps to making a marble run:
- First, get a marble spawner by going into the "Marble Spawners" tab at the bottom left.
- Next, place down your marble spawner with a left-click of your mouse. You may want to place it at a downward sloped angle by going to the rotate tool, make sure that the checkered design is the lowest part of the slope!
- Now, we need some tracks, don't we Mr. Stooge? Yes, I think we need some tracks. Go to the tracks tab at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and get some straight tracks.
- Now that you have some straight tracks, you want to place them. Move the ghost image piece close to the marble spawner. See how the piece snapped right to the spawner? That's good, because we don't want to manually align it perfectly, we want to let the game perfectly do it.
- Now let's get a turn piece. Go to the tracks tab and switch to the "Curved" sub-tab, you can choose between 90 degree, 45 degree, or 180 degree turns. Make sure you've turned off an important setting, auto-rotate after snap. To turn that off, just go to the settings at the top of your screen. Then, look for that setting and turn it off.
- Let's snap our curve to the straight decline. Just like earlier, snap the curved piece to the decline. See how it isn't at the same angle as the decline? It's not at an angle, and is perfectly straight, like on the floor. This is how you should do turns after a ramp.
- Finally, if you'd like to make a loop, simply just make a u-turn and connect the tracks together. You should use boost pads to have the marbles go up a slope, or just use an elevator. For boosters, go to the "Decorations" tab, then go to the "Physics" sub-tab, and you should see the boost pad, the boost pad has rainbow arrows. For the elevator, go to the "Upwards" tab. Then, you should see the elevator. Now that we have the up ramp, lets connect the tracks by making the same turn as before. If there is a small jump or gap, don't change it, but if you'd like, you can make it solid track. If you like sweet jumps and tricks, you should keep the jump.

Conclusion

Now that we know some controls and tabs, we can start making some marble runs soon! I'm gonna wrap it up here. Part 2 will come soon! Bye for now!!
