All Achievements Guide - Dialtown

A guide to all 10 achievements for Dialtown. (This is what I remember from playing and getting all the achievements without really trying. Some of this may be incorrect. Feel free to correct me and I will credit you in the edit.)

Fezzed Plaid-man (Oliver Good Ending)

Show up to the cinema as a Phone-head, say yes to going to the Funfair with him.
At the Funfair, allow Oliver to use the footage.
Don't get killed at the zoo.

Beyond Desperate.

Give up on your quest at the start of the game in the tent.

Lovable Schmuck. (Randy Good Ending)

Go to Downtown Dialtown, call the Hotline on the pole. Tell Randy to stick up for himself on the train.

Fuzzy Boy. (Bigfoot Good Ending)

Go out to the woods, use Bigfoot for good (instead of harming others).

Artsy Printer. (Karen Good Ending)

Go to the bank as a typewriter head. Encourage her to leave her job the next day.

(Formerly) Spiteful Cowboy. (Hidden Achievement)

Finish Chapter 3 without shooting anyone.

Thanks for Dreaming with Me! (Hidden Achievement)

Complete the game.

Avid Socializer.

Go to each location and talk to everyone you can, including all the people at the speed date section and the apartments, before finding a date.

Casual Apocalypse.

Type in your name as "omelette.exe" at the start of the game. Once you've seen enough, go to your tent and give up.

Actual Degenerate.

Chapter 1-2

1- In Oliver's route choose the phone head. Don't let him use the egg footage. Later on choose "tragedy"

2- In Randy's route tell him to stand up for himself on the train, then reject him at the park bench.

3- In Karen's route, choose the typewriter head. After the funfair date wait outside instead of convincing Karen to leave work. Choose to rob the bank, and get angry at the cops.

4- In Bigfoot's route choose to domesticate Bigfoot, then give him a gun when prompted later on.

Chapter 3

5- In Norm's route startle him when he opens the door.

Sorry for the late reply TV, you get it by talking to the dateables as well. You get it immediately after you've talked with the final person. Loosing a route doesn't affect the achievement.

At what point do you get the achievement avid socializer? Is it after you’ve talked to everyone, after you find a dateable and go on their route, or after the game ends? And do you need to get their good ending?

Does loosing a route cancel out the avid socializer achievement?

I can’t figure out how to get Avid socializer! I’ve talked to LITERALLY EVERYONE! Other than the dateables. Do I need to talk to the dateables and get rejected before finding someone and dating them? Or do I have to date the first dateable I come across? I assume they aren’t including the characters you only meet after dating someone like Mr. dickens, or stabby and shooty. Do you have to get rejected by everyone and then give up? Please… I’ve replayed this game 10 times trying to get this specific achievement 🥺 also, I’ve been skipping through dialogue, does that cancel out the achievement?

i have no idea if anybody'll see this but i SERIOUSLY cannot figure out how to get avid socializer, is there anyone im missing?? i've talked to literally everyone i could think of. do i have to start a route to get the achievement?

I got actual degenerate without ever getting the 'give Bigfoot a gun' choice after i chose to domesticate him, i just used him for evil then he accidentally shot me, but i don't think i saw anything like 'you shit yourself and died' on that ending cg...i dunno, i could've missed it but also pretty sure i wouldn't...anyway the rest works perfectly fine and thanks for the guide!!! saved me plenty of time tryna get the last achievement!!

IDK how to tag you, but Norm is the character unlocked in Chapter 3. You need to finish the other routes first (Randy, Oliver, Karen, and Bigfoot) before doing his route. Goodluck!
