Does Lost Ark support controllers?

Yes, the game features controller support. Sometimes it's not enough though - some menu functions can be difficult or impossible to use with a controller. This means it's a good idea to have a keyboard handy as well.

You can preview the controls in-game and edit them.
After connecting a controller (a supported one) the shortcuts should also appear in the quick access bars.

Controller or keyboard - which is better?

It's obviously difficult to determine whether playing on a controller instead of a keyboard will give you better performance and more fun. It largely depends on your character class. You still need to aim when using long-range spells, so a mouse will probably work better for it. On the other hand, melee combat is not a problem with a controller, and using your skills may even turn out to be more convenient. One of the controller's issues is a limited number of buttons, but it shouldn't be a problem in the early game.

i have developed pad-controlls for the steampad withe the steam-controller-tool. a detailed descriiptions is in the discussions - sorry its in german... :S

The name of the configuration, wich u can import withe the controller-config-tool is "STEUERUNG für das STEAMPAD".
if the intrest is big enough i can try to translate it.
