Preamble
I won't rant about how it's dumb to force gamers to install spyware into their ring0 of the kernel. I am sure most people don't care about system security and are happy to do whatever. But for those of us that do care, this game installs Easy Anti Cheat EOS right into the kernel without ANY user consent (before the EULA even). This is a class action waiting to happen. There needs to be affirmative user consent BEFORE scanning people's systems and especially BEFORE installing software into the system kernel. (And ideally not just buried in a EULA either, but very specifically called out in its own prompt.)
Manual Uninstall
The EAC support website is useless on how to uninstall this crap (those instructions don't work) and the game's uninstall process doesn't even remove it (uuuugh) so here's what I found to do it manually:

1) In game install folder, there is a subfolder with easy anti cheat. In there, run the following in command prompt to remove the windows service: EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe qa-factory-reset (it should no longer be in services list afterward)

2) Then delete AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat folder

(There may be other steps, this isn't well documented because why would they bother document what they're doing to your system without consent, you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.)
In Conclusion
God, I hope the devs get nailed with a class action for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with people's OS without their consent for this. All I wanted to do was play a dragon game, not get this spyware crap =\

If the devs delete this guide, I also posted the steps in my review here.

You wish for the devs to get a class because of an anti-cheat software? It 'scans' your device to see if you are using a 3rd-party cheating software. There is no spying going on. Besides, why are you this paranoid about a game developer spying on you?

Coming here after the Apex incident, haven't played that garbage in over a year, uninstalled months ago, but EAC remained on my PC. I don't play any of the trash a** games that use this so this was quite helpful. Thank you.

EAC is such a trash anti-cheat it isn't even funny. It breaks so many games and prevents so many people from playing and hackers still flood the servers of each game with EAC.
EAC was outdated the second it was created.

AAA games are awful anyway

Guess you will never play many big games if you call a Anticheat spyware. Particularly because EAC is the most popular Anticheat. Used by EA, Ubisoft, Epic Games(The developers), etc.
