How to get Steam's OFFICIAL HotlineMiami desktop icon

If you got tired of the non-icony Hotline Miami desktop executable, this guide is for you!

Getting the icon

Firstly, we'll download this image:


Or just use the link below:

DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FILE!

Then, we'll use an online .jpg to .ico converter, like this:
http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-ico

We'll select our icon and we'll save it again to desktop or somewhere safe where you can find it.

Saving and setting the icon

Open the route ".../Steam/steam/games/" and paste your icon in there. For some reason, Steam did not create this icon automatically as it does with other games, maybe it was a developer glitch or something.

Now, after we copypasted our icon in there, we'll right-click our Hotline Miami.exe on our desktop and click "Properties". Select "Change Icon" and search for the icon we copypasted on Steam folder.

Ta-da! We got our Steam icon on our desktop! You might be thinking it's just like the other method, but it's the only way to get this icon. Plus, it's better than the original icon it has, isn't it?

No problem! The original icon is on the game folder, I believe it's a guy with a smashed head and a red background.

You shouldn't have said that its better than the original icon....now im searching for the actual icon. This is gonna bug me but nonetheless thank you!
