1. Story - Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth!

Putt-Putt (voiced by Nancy Cartwright) and his dog Pep go to see BJ Sweeney's Big Top Circus (a reference to Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus) in Apple Valley. They hopped on Roll-Along Cassidy, a circus train after a goat ate their ticket. When they reached Apple Valley, everything was in chaos. The circus' five main acts, Honko the Clown, The Flying Porkowskis: Herb, Pearl and Hammy, Phillipe the Flea, Reginald Cornelius Andronocles III the Lion, along with two tiger sisters, Terri and Marie, and Katie Cannonball;

and all the minor acts, Marvin the Marvellous, Eunice the Unicycle, Francine the Hippo High Diver, Ivan the Semi-Strong Van, Sebastian the Juggling Seal, Mama Mombasa (from Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo), and Belobrodnik the Ballet Dancing Bear, are having serious and okay problems. Putt-Putt and Pep also meet new friends like Lester the Flea Janitor, Bart the Peanut Cart, Hank the Security Car, and Bette Bandwagon, along with Baby Jambo (the elephant from Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo). Putt-Putt needs to help all his new circus friends, so they will practice and finally perform under the big top in the opening night. It becomes a "Huge Success.
1-1. Dashboard Interface

The dashboard was changed yet again, although only a very minor change. The key was been changed from a means of quitting to a menu. When pressed, the sun visor flips down from the upper left corner of the screen. A notepad represents the "Save" option, a road map represents the "Load" option, and a garage door opener represents the "Quit" option. However, when Putt-Putt uses High-Powered High-Octane Gasoline, his top speed is doubled from 35 MPH to 70 MPH, albeit for a brief period of time. This version of the dashboard is also used in "Putt-Putt Joins the Circus." Also in the original games if you change Putt-Putt's colors the dashboard still stays purple this was changed in Putt-Putt Enters the Race where the glove compartment closes & the dashboard gets colored the same as Putt-Putt be it the Cartown Color in Putt-Putt Enters the Race or Baby Jambo on Putt-Putt Joins the Circus.

3-1. Walkthroughs Guide - Directions to Apple Valley
After the Introduction, you'll automaticly start with Pep & the Train Ticket after you see the Introduction of the game. Head Right until you reach a Goat blocking Roll-Along Cassidy the circus train. What you need to do is go Right again until you reach some flowers, pick them up & give them to the goat (or you can give the Flowers to the Goat if you've already got them). The Goat will eat both the Flowers & the Ticket (Not a pretty sight!). But Roll-Along Cassidy will take you to the circus anyway.

5-2. Walkthroughs Guide - Phillipe the Flea
From the Big Top, Click on the Magnifying Glass & you'll meet a Flea Janitor named; Lester. It seems tha Phillipe the Flea, has fled somewhere with his fellow fleas to somewhere Lester does not know. According to Lester, Phillipe is displeased with the condition of their miniature circus tent, which has holes in it and is broken. Putt-Putt agrees to find him. Lester allows you to take the Magnifying Glass, as it will be useful for finding Phillipe and the other fleas.

What you need to do is headback stage first, Collect both the Trampoline at Pectoro's Van & the Large Umbrella near the Clowns' Trailers. Then head over the High Wire Act & you'll meet Eunice Unicycle, she'll tell you that she needs help to fix the High Wire & she needs something to balance on. Proceed until you reach a ditch & use the Trampoline on the Ditch so you can reach Eunice. Then use the Lever to fix the High Wire Act, then use the Large Umbrella on Eunice & she'll give you the Small Umbrella. Now you have a Tent for Phillipe the Flea's Act! (Or you can Fix the High Wire Act & give Eunice the Large Umbrella before talking to her)

Now head on over to Animal Tent, until you reach Belobrodnik Bear whos dancing a disco dance (which is REALLY Funny to watch). What you need to do is use the Magnifying Glass on him so you begin your search for Phillipe the Flea (Or you can talk to him before using the magnifying glass). His location in Belobrodnik Bear is randomized for each Walkthrough.

After using the Magnifying Glass on Belobrodnik Bear, you'll notice a Score of Fleas inside him, but one of them is Phillipe the Flea. Use the Up/Down/Left/Rights until you find him, then Click on him & you'll get him & his Flea Entourage onto Pep. After that, head back to the Big Top & use the Small Umbrella on Lester (You can also use the Small Umbrella on Lester before finding Phillipe).

With Phillipe the Flea's act saved, you'll need to save 4 more Acts before the BJ Sweeny's Big Top Circus can open. Those acts are Katie Cannonball, Honko the Clown, Flying Porkowskis & Reginald the Lion.

HINT: Phillipe the Flea has a Gold Tooth. So be sure to look for that.
5-3. Walkthroughs Guide - Flying Porkowskis
From inside the Big Top, talk to Bart the Peanut Cart to play the Peanut Challenge. To obtain the Peanuts, you need to feed at least 3 Cars in this Minigame Event. Then head over to where Mama Mombassa is & give her the Peanuts, then you can get the Net from her. Once you have the Net, head over to the High Wire Act is & return the Net to the Flying Porkowskis (Since they can't preform their act without their net).

With Phillipe the Flea & the Flying Porkowskis' acts saved, you'll need to save 3 more Acts before the BJ Sweeny's Big Top Circus can open. Those acts are Katie Cannonball, Honko the Clown & Reginald the Lion.

NOTE: In other Versions of Putt-Putt Joins the Circus, Mama Mombassa stole The Flying Porkiwskis's safety net for a nap.
5-3. Walkthroughs Guide - Reginald the Lion
From the Big Top, head over to the Animal Stables & talk to Reginald the Lion. Reginald will explain that his costume, an oversized striped swimsuit, looks ridiculous on him and feels undignified. After Putt-Putt adds that the “travesty” is merely a swimsuit, Reginald realizes this and removes it. He tosses it to Putt-Putt, in case he has any need for it. As it would seem that Reginald won’t go on without his outfit, Putt-Putt says that he’ll find Reginald’s costume and return it to him. Reginald introduces himself and his assistants to Putt-Putt before letting him go on his way.

Head back stage until you reach a Swimming Pool & talk to Francine. She'll explain to you that the Swimming Pool for her High Dive Act is empty & you need to patch up the Pool. The Hole in the Pool & the shape you need to patch the Pool with are Randomized for each Walkthrough. Head over to the Tool Shed & you'll notice a Handsaw. Take the Handsaw & head back over to the Animal Stables & go through the Purple Tent until you see Robot Wood Cutter named BuzzSaw & use the Handsaw on him. Now BuzzSaw can cut out a Patch for the High Dive Act. BuzzSaw has 3 shapes he can cut wood into, but only one of them is correct.

Once you have the Correct Shape, head back to the High Dive Act, patch the Pool using the Wooden Patch & fill it up with water. Now Francine can do her High Dive Act. Now all you need to do is give her the Swimsuit & she'll give you Reginald's Costume. Once you have Reginald's Costume, head back to the Animal Stables & return Reginald the Lion his Costume. Gladly, Reginald will take the costume and put it on, finally ready to practice his Wild Cat Act.

With Reginald the Lion, Phillipe the Flea & the Flying Porkowskis' acts saved, you'll need to save 2 more Acts before the BJ Sweeny's Big Top Circus can open. Those acts are Katie Cannonball & Honko the Clown.

Possible Hole Shapes (Randomized per Playthrough):
1. Circle
2. Square
3. Triangle

Wooden Patch Shapes:
1. Circle
2. Square
3. Triangle

Hole & Patches Combinations:
1. Circle Hole = Circle Patch
2. Square Hole = Square Patch
3. Triangle Hole = Triangle Patch
5-4. Walkthroughs Guide - Honko the Clown
From the Big Top, head over to the Recording Studio & talk to Bette. She looks pretty sad, so talk to her. She’ll ask if you know anything about music (don’t worry, this isn’t complicated). Her problem is that her organ pipes are mixed up and one is being plugged by a translation book. For this, you’ll need to arrange the pipes from the lowest note to the highest note. Some of the Pipes are already in place for you while the rest are randomized for each Walkthrough. Click on her pipes and you’ll see 8 pipes. Below them are buttons which play the note for that specific pipe. This is so you have an idea of what note is where. If the pipe is in the right spot, the note’s button will turn green. If it’s wrong, the button will turn red. The green button in the bottom left corner will play what the result is supposed to sound like, while the blue “Play” button plays the pipe pattern you currently have. When the pipes are arranged correctly, the notes will play and you’ll have helped Bette!

With the pattern correct, Bette plays well enough that the translation book dislodges itself from her piping. The translation book is apparently for the “Honkish” language, this will come in handy later. Bette will mention that the book will definitely come in handy if we meet Honko the Clown, as that’s the language he speaks. Next head over to Marvin's Magic Act & play his Magic Card Memory Game. What you need to do is match his cards in Pairs until a Juggling Club Remains.

Marvin explains that the match for that card was lost long ago, but maybe he could materialize it into a real juggling club. For your help, you’ve got a juggling club! Head over to the tent beside the big top and give this club to Sebastian. With a 4th juggling club, Sebastian can juggle & not be tripped up by the red ball. Click on the red ball & Sebastian will let you have it.

Now that you've got both the Honkish Translation Book & Honko's Nose, head over to Honko the Clown's Trailer & use Honkish Translation Book on his shadow & return him his Nose. With Phillipe the Flea, Honko the Clown, Flying Porkowskis & Reginald the Lion's act saved, you'll need to save 1 more Act before the BJ Sweeny's Big Top Circus can open. That act is Katie Cannonball.

Marvin's Cards:
1. Star
2. Rabbit
3. Magician's Hat
4. Juggling Ball
5-5. Walkthroughs Guide - Katie Cannonball
If you continue from to the right of Belobrodnik’s room, you’ll be back outside where an elephant is painting. Talk to him and Putt-Putt will discover that it’s Baby Jambo, the young elephant he rescued at the Cartown Zoo (from Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo). He’s much older and is here at the circus for the summer with his mother, Mama Mombasa. He’s also taken an interest in painting. However, pick up that shred of paper on the ground. It’s part of a recipe for Pectoro the Strong Van's Power Shake. Then, make your way to the Toolshed & you'll find the other piece to the recipe. Once you have both pieces of the Recipe head back to the fruit stand with the recipe. Follow the recipe’s instructions to make Pectoro’s Power Shake.

The 3 Items you need to make the Power Shake are Radomized for each Walkthrough. After completing the shake, take the High Wire (or Trampoline) to reach Ivan back on the ground. As you continue forward, you’ll meet Ivan the Semi-Strong Van. If you talk to him, you’ll find that he’s having trouble because he isn’t very strong and the one ton weight is on top of Katie’s blueprint! In order to boost his strength, Ivan needs Pectoro the Strong Van’s original Power Shake recipe. Give the Power Shake to Ivan and he’ll drink it, achieving newfound strength and confidence. Ivan is so strong that he can pick up that one ton that’s holding down the blueprints.

Take the Blueprints & return them to Katie. Katie will thank you and ask if you could help set up the cannon. Click the blueprints on the cannon and set the numbers to unlock the cannon. Afterward, press the correct colored button, which will unlock the launch button. Press that to finish the job! The cannon will be loaded with a sack of potatoes and will fire. If done correctly, the sack will hit the target! Katie will thank Putt-Putt for all his help and reward him with a kiss before getting ready for her act. The Pass Lock & Color Code Button are Randomized for each Walkthrough.

Now that you've saved All 5 Main Acts & the Minor Acts. B.J. Sweeney's Big Top Circus is Ready for Opening Night!

With all the acts saved, the circus is finally ready for its grand opening tonight! Cars are lined up outside and filing to get the best seats inside for the show. BJ Sweeney announces the grand opening and gives a very special thank you to Putt-Putt (and you, by extension) for helping get the circus ready and saving the show! For this portion of the game, you can choose to play two of the mini-games.

The left sign brings you to the Clown Target Paractice minigame and the right brings you to the Titanic Trampoline minigame.

The Clown Target Paractice involves using the mouse to turn Putt-Putt and the left-clicking to throw the pie at the various clowns while the Titanic Trampoline involves using the mouse to move the trampoline platforms as Putt-Putt ascends into the air by bouncing and popping balloons. You can play both games as much as you’d like.

Thx. It was hard work to point out everthing in each walkthrough, since some of its' elements are Ramdomized.
