I could confirm through hack that angel mode seems indeed not functional. Demon mode works but is janky, you can't crouch, so perhaps that's why it ended being a wizard code instead of a character mode. I checked that sword mode is indeed active when evil (normal character), very nice find on SWORDCEDOR
perfect morality at stage 1 with no flags is a number in the billions.
there's a trigger for " is evil "
and there's a trigger for " angel and demon " modes as well
then there's a flag called zelda2, one called excite, etc etc - I made a list a screen back here.
most, if not all of the thigns i pulled turned out to be game wizard codes.
noting there's NOT a trigger to " turn good " there's just your floating morality point value, and a hard coded " is evil path " trigger.
