Schedule

Before JojaMart closes (if you side with the Community Center), Sam works there in the afternoons on some days. Once it does close, he gets a job at the Museum instead. He typically works on Mondays and Tuesdays, regardless of the season.

If it rains, he'll either stay home all day or head to the Stardrop Saloon for the afternoon.

In the Summer, Sam hangs out at the Beach with his brother, Vincent.

In the Fall, he'll often hang around in front of Leah's cottage in the Cindersap Forest.

On Fall 11, he has an appointment, so he'll leave home for the Clinic around 11:30 a.m. and then head home around 4 p.m.

On Winter 17, he hangs at home until 5 p.m., when he leaves for the Night Market. He heads home from the event at midnight.

Heart Events

Two Hearts
Enter Sam's house to find him and Sebastian in the middle of band practice. They will speak to you about what type of music you like. Which option you choose to respond with has no effect on your friendship with either Sam or Sebastian.

Three Hearts
Go to the beach in any season other than Winter on a sunny day between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sam will be at the beach with his brother and talk a bit about his dad. You can only catch this event if it's Year 1 in your game. You'll be prompted for a dialogue response but it has no bearing on your friendship points with Sam or Vincent.

Four Hearts
Visit Sam while he is home to trigger this event. Sam will drop an egg onto the floor, and when his mom sees it, she will begin to lecture him. You will need to explain what happened to her.

"Sam dropped the snack as he was handing it to me." -10 friendship points
"Sam handed me the snack and then I dropped it." +50 friendship points
"Sam dropped it on purpose. He thought it would be funny." -50 friendship points
Six Hearts
For this recent, you simply need to go to town between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. You will witness Sam getting in trouble for skateboarding by Mayor Lewis. Your response here does not affect your friendship points with Sam or Mayor Lewis.

Eight Hearts
Sam will visit your farm before 8 a.m. to invite you to a concert. You will need to visit the bus stop at 4 p.m. to get a ride to Zuzu City and watch him play.

Ten Hearts
Sam will send you a letter, and then you will need to go to town between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. He will sneak you into his house, and you will end up having to hide from his mom. Again, there is no effect on your friendship with Sam based on your response in this event.

Fourteen Hearts
Every marriage candidate has a 14 heart event, but since they only happen after marriage, they aren't part of romancing that particular character. So, we won't spoil it here for you!
