100% Achievement Guide for all 57 Steam Achievements

Overview

Vector contains a total of 57 unlockable achievements split into three categories

32 Universal Achievements - These can be unlocked in either Classic or Hunter Mode or even not in a mode at all (Money Related and Credits Achievements)

13 Classic Mode Achievements - These can only be unlocked in Classic Mode

12 Hunter Mode Achievements - These can only unlocked in Hunter Mode

Universal Achievements

A majority of these achievements are unlocked through natural gameplay but depending on your individual skill you may need to grind.

Grinding for Deaths, Dying at full Speed and Meters Run can easily be done in Technology Park's Story level 3-10. Simply start the level and then sprint into the wall. Due to it being the second last level of the game you wont need to grind as much.

There are windows throughout each level in the game it wont take long to get these three achievements. Breaking them only requires you to walk through them.

Full speed is when your character is sprinting either at a scripted moment or when you press right on the 3 horizontal arrows throughout the game.

Money Related Achievements

Earning money in the game is a process that has to come through completing the game, each star you earn on a level gives a certain amount of money but you can only earn a star once per save file.

In total you will need:

$61,200 for tricks
$4,500 for Clothing
$65,700 Total

Its a good idea to just purchase the tricks as they appear between levels and to either purchase clothing early or not at all as they are purely aesthetic.

These achievements are a total accumulative amount meaning you only need to spend a total of $40,00 for these four achievements it is also a significant amount towards the $65,700 total amount.

Trendy
Own all clothes pack (three Clothing items - Cap, Shorts and Scarf)

Miscellaneous Achievments

Surefooted
Complete a track without stumbling
This can be unlocked on any level as long as you play clean. Long climbs don't count as stumbling (as far as i know).


Hypnotic
Let the credits roll from start to end
The credits are accessible from the completion of level 3-11 and from the bottom right of the options menu from the main menu. The credits don't automatically close (at least not after seeing them once) but they go for approximately 1:16.83 starting from fade in from black to last thank you message scrolling off the screen completely.


Flash
Complete a track in less than 45 seconds
The easiest level to unlock this is Hunter Mode 1-2 especially as the level can finish earlier depending how lucky you get with the taser. (However if you can find an earlier level let me know)



Lazy
Complete a track with no bonuses collected and no tricks performed
The earliest and easiest level to complete this on is 1-3 as the level clearly shows the tricks and bonuses. You are also fully able to pick up money drops throughout the level.

Classic Mode Achievements

These achievements are unlockable in the Classic Mode only 11 out the 13 achievements are star related the rest are miscellaneous.

There are 120 total levels for both modes in Vector

Stars

There are 60 levels allowing for 180 total stars for classic mode. 60 stars for each of the three stages, 33 stars for story with 11 levels each and 27 stars for bonus with 9 levels each.

Stars are unlocked by:
1 Star - Simply Completing the level
2 Stars - Complete the level with either all Bonus or all tricks
3 Stars - Complete the level with all Bonus and all tricks

Runner
Earn 11 Stars
This takes four, three star levels to unlock

Sprinter
Earn 33 Stars
This takes 11, three star levels to unlock


Artist
Earn 66 Stars
This takes 22, three star levels to unlock

Acrobat
Earn 99 Stars
This takes 33, three star levels to unlock

Traceur
Earn 150 Stars
This takes 50, three star levels to unlock

Miscellaneous Classic Achievements

These achievements occur during gameplay but can only be unlocked in Classic Mode

Damn...
Die on the first track
This can be done after the slide tutorial just simply run or slide off the edge after the last required slide. Even though the achievement says first track it can only be unlocked in Classic Mode

Friendship
Stay close to the Hunter for at least 3 Seconds
This achievement seems a bit inconsistent with how close you truly have to be to the hunter

Hunter Mode Achievements

These achievements are unlockable in the Hunter Mode only the 12 achievements are star related

Hunter Mode requires 50 stars before being unlocked

Stars

Hello!
I've experienced some issues with achievements in this game.
Stars counter stopped on 225 stars, so there's no chance for Guru and Perfectionist achievement for me. Also Agent achievement (Open the Technopark of Hunter Mode) didn't pop. Any chances to fix that?

For the "Flash" achievement, you can get it really early in classic story level 1-7. If you can make it all the way to the end without stumbling, you can guarantee finishing the level in less than 45 seconds.
