How To Do Difficult Jumps

I know most people won't need to follow this, but I figured that it might help out a few people.

Jump Basics

Most jumps require different lengths. While you may be able to make it past the first few levels by just jumping at full capacity, things get a bit more complicated as you go on. To master not bonking your head on platforms, you must master the different power level jumps. You can hold down the space bar to perform a maximum power jump, press and hold for a medium jump, or just tap or a small jump.

How to Jump Around Obstacles

The main obstacle that you will be running into will be a small spike wall. This can be easily avoided by using a full power jump. You are also able to shoot through these walls, which will clear out enemies.

For the bonus level specifically knowing how long you have after a fall to jump is important for the end as well.
