Here it is, the longest ship ever built, Jahre Viking!


Jahre Viking was a super tanker that went under many names and companies. She started life as Seawise Giant in 1974, and was built in Yokosuka, Japan. Due to her size, she was incapable of navigating the English Channel, the Suez Canal or the Panama Canal. In 1988, she was anchored of Larak Island was she was bombed and sunk by the Iraqi Air Force during the Iran-Iraqi War. After the war ended, she was refloated, salvaged, and renamed Happy Giant. In 1991, Norwegian shipowner, Jørgen Jahre, purchased her and renamed her Jahre Viking. In 2004, she was purchased again by First Olsen Tankers and renamed Knock Nevis. She was finally renamed Mont and was bought by Amber Development in 2009. She scrapped in 2010.


Has skins for lights and red striped funnel.
