Striker-Chopper VX

The Empire of the Rising Sun is well known for its flexible vehicles; to assist them in their assault on the Soviet Union, they needed a vehicle that could destroy armored columns from the skies, as well as serve in the air defense role on the ground to support their ground forces. As a result, they designed the Striker-VX, a pilot-assisted mech that can spew out missiles into the air and transform into a helicopter (known as the Chopper-VX) to combat incoming ground targets. Because of their maneuverability, they are very effective as scouts and also for raiding enemy stragglers and Ore Collectors and their ability to transform provides a degree of flexibility unparalleled by any other unit in the Soviet or Allied arsenal.

Key features:
Affordable: The Striker-Chopper is built of few parts besides the legs, which are easy to produce for the empire. This results in a relatively cheap vehicle.

Survivable: Altough cheap and small, striker choppers boast the strongest armor of all the imperial air units. Taking out an entire group of them proves to be a challenge.

Versatile: The Striker-Chopper is able to switch from it's landed form which helps it keep distance from aircrafts to a airborne form which allows it to rapidly give chase to ennemy surface units.

Reliable: The Striker-Chopper's missiles are designed to be able to hit all but the most evasive targets reliably, and will tear wings off of unarmored planes with as much ease as it flattens the deck of a warship.

Ease of use: The Striker-Chopper has a wide cockpit for pilots to sit within, along with a variety of buttons for commanders to order them to take a specific movement mode.
