Introduction
Welcome to my guide of the game!

This will be a start to end walkthrough with hopefully all secrets covered. If I missed something - do give me a comment and I will edit it in.
It's also based on very likely last update of the game, so you won't miss anything and won't find balance differences.

To avoid spoilers I will not add a list of characters as a whole and instead introduce them over time as you get them.
I will however give party+stat food distribution recommendations in a section located after the walkthrough, mild spoilers alert in that one(although most characters are just the ones you see in first cutscene)

Since I can't be 100% sure of all options giving evil/good karma - I will mention the choices I made that felt like 'good/bad' choice to reach the good result.. So logically speaking the opposite ones would make for evil choices.

Difficulty choices:
Easy - a good choice for people who aren't experienced in RPG maker games and/or RPGs in general. Although RPG maker almost always shares similarities in how stats are used and what they do, hence being the most important factor.

Normal - is pretty much standard RPG maker difficulty if you have ever played those - at most you will have problems on final boss, some post game optional bosses and a few physically resistant bosses.
If you know what you are doing - most random encounters will be a breeze to grind through without resting much.

Hard - a pretty big penalty in terms of stats, random encounters become pretty annoying since your agility is so low that it's hard to ever move first. Which results in pretty grindy experience. Big part of your stats will come from items, hence you will mainly require good gear instead of just levels.
Grind itself becomes pretty annoying due to that since you will have to rest pretty often and save/load often since RNG will likely randomly destroy you by RNG focusing squishiest character, which you can't really do much against for big part of the game.

I wouldn't recommend hard unless you really want that steam achievement for hard.
It's not exactly 'hard', more of a 'grind until you can buy top tier set of gear and overlevel while at it' > move onto next location and repeat.
Becomes worse in end game where you can't even grind past level 99, hence your only improvement are overpriced permanent stat boosts.

Stat wise:
This is basic knowledge for RPG maker enthusiasts, but higher atk value is very important due to how defence works, which is essentially a flat value damage decrease, hence too low of an atk will simply deal nothing to heavily armored foes.

Hence def/mdef huge values also help a lot, making it possible for most enemies to deal essentially nothing on your tanky characters.

For hard difficulty - a nice stat is ironically evasion, since it's fully dependant on gear/character innate values which are not affected by difficulty, hence not reduced in any way and you can reach insanely high dodge values of 90%+ on a lot of characters
Prologue
Whichever difficulty you decided on - walkthrough does not change.
The only factor is that you might want to grind/buy new gear on hard while on normal it's enough to use gear you find if you fully explore dungeons.

Game begins with cutscenes. The first cutscene choice you make is not important, it's simply a spoiler of what's to come in the game and decides nothing.

Your first character is the MC - Victor. A berserker.
As game mentions the moment you get new character - you select one of 3 sub classes for it, I will list my recommendations for it.
None of the choices matter too much if you are on hard difficulty, but for normal - crusher is 100% the best one since it makes you fast enough against most random encounter enemies, which is nice.
His best in slot weapons are usually not lances, hence making lancer side job pretty meh.
As a heavy physical damager in RPG maker game - Victor is pretty much a very good character throughout whole game.
The berserk skill is not worth on random encounters as it spends a turn for nothing but will be your top damage dealing for long boss fights as well.
Victor still uses random rage skills he can afford while in berserk mode.
I recommend Victor to always be in your party, both in random encounter grind and in boss fights.

But moving on with the game:
I won't list stuff that you can find in dungeons that is in plain view - I will just mention that exploring/full clearing dungeon chests IS worth it in this game as it gives very solid improves.
Also optional locations I will mention are all very important in reducing the amount of repetitive grind you would need, instead giving you something new to do while improving your power.

You start on the world map and have no choice but to go into Sea Breeze town and get a drink from the inn. Once done - go to weapon shop and talk to blacksmith to proceed with main quest.
I highly recommend talking with every NPC as a lot of them have something important/fun to say.
Also as NPCs will hint you - check random objects like barrels/crates/other suspicious objects, a lot of them often have items.
I will only mention the very important dialogues which offer side quests or something very important in general.

I recommend purchasing helm/shield in the shop for some nice initial defense boost.

Your next goal is The Ore Cave
In there you encounter your second character - Alice.
She is main healer. Pretty much a nearly must character for bossing, but on random encounters once you can swap her out - it's best to do so, since you can just heal with her out of combat instead and burst enemy faster without her.
I recommend devotee as her side job. You want your healer to survive first and foremost and this is her only survival improve option.
Alice has huge mana pool and regens it each round by a bit, hence she will last you a long time before needing to rest.

As far as strategy goes - there is not much to do except Atk'ing with victor and healing up with Alice, as I already mentioned - looting in dungeon is best way to improve your gear, hence always fully explore, this will also level you up while at it.
The boss is nothing special but it's worth using berserk to speed up the kill.

Once you are done - back into the town to get rewards and conclude the prologue.
Act 1
Now your goal is to reach Riddari.

First on the world map go to Riddari mountains and get through them - it's a mini dungeon with loot to grab.

Once you are outside on the world map again, go south.

There is important optional location - Tree Gravesite.
This location is in a suspicious/non standard tree on the world map near the island to the west that you can't reach.

It is your first important morale choice - to take gold from grave or not to.
This one 100% affects morale system. For good choice - choose to leave it.
Both good/evil have extra weapons they can use and a bit extra content in general. As well as steam achieve.
You want to either go fully good or fully evil, don't mix it and decide now!

Once done - proceed to Riddari - a huge castle town that is hard to miss.
You can technically visit castle separately but it has nothing to do since you are blocked from entering.
Instead enter the town.

You are free to explore it, library has lots of background lore as well as a permanent stat food hidden in it.
But your main goal is behind the huge guards quarter building.
This is where you get your third character - Finn, the thief
I recommend using him as a permanent random encounter character and eventually swapping him out on bosses.
Reason for that is one of his sub classes being treasure hunter, which I recommend, it improves drop rate of items. It also improves chances of him acting twice(OR MORE) - not sure if there is a limit, but with some luck you can act even thrice in one turn, hence making this passive still a very good offensive boost.
Assassin class is a bit more powerful since it boosts crit AND evasion, which is both survival and offensive. BUT I would say the utility from being able to grind more efficiently is better.
You can eventually farm cash for stat boosts, hence extra drops always help.
He is not a bad anti boss character either, but I would say he is not the best choice out of them all since he is squishy and does not add much aside of damage.

With Finn you can open a door in SW house - this gives you a small extra quest.
You can either tell her the truth or lie to granny. I am not sure if this is gameplay morale choice or not, since both choices are kinda arguable morally, hence I think it doesn't matter.
I chose to tell the truth though.

Your main goal is to explore the Guards Quarter dungeon. As usual - fully explore.
There is an extra mess hall with good equip, despite what Alice says - there are no 'gameplay' morale choices in this dungeon and you are free to grab everything.
You can also return to dungeon to get last 2 chests if you want to since cutscene throws you out before you can get them.

Your next goal is to reach Talik, but we will visit a few extra places along the way.

First place is directly nearby you once you cross bridge to the south. It's a suspicious looking monument on the world map - Plains Lanzer Statue
There are lots of those as you will explore. Each gives a 50 rage cost ability to a character of your choice. While you might be thinking it's good idea to give this to victor since he generates more rage - I would say no, it's best to give those to characters who don't do too much and hence can spend a turn to help other characters.

As you continue moving to SE - you will notice mountains splitting path into 2. To the south and to the east.
I recommend you going south first for an optional location in seemingly dead end - another suspicious tree.
You will see an NPC there, SAVE the game first. Heal up/buff up with poison on Finn and talk to the NPC for a fight.
This will give you a very strong axe for quite some time.

Back to the road split and move until you reach Talik Ruins - destroyed village.
Talk to the only living NPC as it's the only way to grab some chests anyway.
This is another character for your party - Salome, a Wizard.
Salome is either the best character or among the most useless ones, depending on how you go about using her.
To summ it up:
One way to use her is as one of the best characters, which means bumping her magic atk and speed to immense values, which allows her to move first and wipe out the whole enemy group in nearly one attack.
For this usage of her you want to give her all mana/matk/speed food as well as elemental side job so she does more damage and can one shot more groups.
Since you are heavily stat focusing her - she will also be one of your boss killers as well that way.

Another way to use her is only using her on bosses which are physically resistant. In which case it's best to give her Blink Warlock for more survival.
In this case her random encounter damage is usually negligible and not worth over using melee character basic attacks.

If you want to do everything in the game and grind a lot - I recommend 1st option as it's by far your fastest grind enabler.
If you want to just beat the main stuff ignore most optionals - take 2nd option as without heavy investment she is pretty crappy.

With fourth character in tow - you now have full party, grab the loot and proceed further.
It's a linear path until you reach a road split with bridge to the south or going west.
First go into Alm Bridge dungeon. It's a mini location that is NOT revisitable, so make sure to grab all the loot the first time.

Some equipment advice - I recommend giving best atk raising stuff to Finn since he can double move and hardly ever misses, hence it profits him most.
Victor also wants it but to a lesser degree. Victor wants a lot of RP regen.
Early on it's best to neglect agility in favor of more def/mdef giving equipment.
For Salome - you want more Matk and HP so she can survive at least 1 hit.

Bridge is pretty simple until you reach the boss - an Armored knight. He is very heavily physical resistant but berserker Victor will still do heavy damage.Finn will have trouble though, so it might even be best to just defend with him.
Salome is your MVP here if she casts thunder spells on the knight.

Once you are done with loot+boss - you are back to world map yet again. There is a Lake Lanzer statue directly south nearby, grab it. It's a pretty good one to give extra action to victor or heavily boosted Salome with less impactful characters.

Move further into the village nearby - Alm. This is a small village, Talk with Mayor to finish main quest.
There is also an NPC giving quest to take down some Orcs, this is optional location I recommend tackling next.
Make sure to rest up first as it's a pretty big dungeon.
Act 1 part 2
Next up - optional location The Orc Cavern
To reach it - backtrack to the bridge where you fought the boss knight and go west.
This is where you will discover the Orc Caverns. Choose to explore them, although it doesn't really matter as you can explore either way.

This is where game teaches you about elemental weaknesses. Orcs here are weak to ice. You got 1 ice bracelet on the bridge and you get another one from Poe NPC here, who also gives quest for 10 blue orc gems. He is a recurring NPC you will meet a few times with steam achievement each time.
Equip those bracelets to Finn/Victor to massively improve their damage here. Overall the dungeon is pretty linear.
As you proceed Finn will eventually mention noticing a 'secret', this usually means a hidden loot nearby in some not too obvious location. In this case it's a wall in the corner nearby. Just touch the walls and you will find it the direction from which you face wall matters in this case,
You get elixir, which is full restore HP/MP consumable, nice but nothing special.

Eventually as you progress further you will reach a bridge from which you can jump down for fast backtrack. But proceed further in to reach the boss - Orc King. He is a pretty strong hitter with AoE attack that might outright wipe your weaker members from full HP if you have not grinded enough. He will fall fast to Salome/Finn/Victor ice burst. Basically it's just RNG for him not to use his AoE too much and overall target your sturdier characters like Victor/Finn.

Presuming you killed orc boss and grabbed all chests - you are likely still not done with blue orc gems. Those are pretty much RNG and you need to luck out to meet them. I found grinding them with most luck in boss room, but they can appear anywhere and are simply rare.
Once you got 10 gems - return to Poe for a reward.

Backtrack to Alm village to get extra reward for taking down Orc boss as well.
Don't bother resting, you will see why.

Not much to do except move to the last port town of this continent - Elnae
You now are facing a boss you are intended to lose on - Baiz. Not sure if it's possible to grind enough to win it on easy difficulty with some overlevel.. but not like it's important. Lose quickly and cutscenes will commence.

Once you wake up - downstairs is a speedup food in a pot.
There is a behemoth trophy collector lady in the town, nearby her one of the lumber stacks has some hidden gold. It's something for the future though.

One optional quest is available - a small house on the west side of the town with Old Man Fletcher. - he wants you to take him to Riddari castle town on foot. It's a long backtracking, but might as well do it. Once back there - go to the small house up north.
Cutscenes commence and you will visit the location you might remember from the very early game with the morale choice. You can now full restore MP in this house for free by talking with the dad of the family.
But either way it's time to go back to Elnae. This time you will see a boat nearby. It's only allowing you to travel shallow waters though. There is an extra funny cutscene if you go via the boat, the reward does not change, so return any way you want.

Feel free to explore the rest of the town now, but your goal is in the building with a hammer icon on it. That's yet another way you can get a boat as well as main quest.
We will set sail in a way that will let us grab some optional stuff along the way.
Start sailing to the south/east. Around Alm town you will find a small isle with a pond, it's a location with some nice items.
Sail further north/west proceeding down the linear shallow water path. Along the way you will find 3rd - Sea Lanzer Statue
This one I would actually put on victor. It's a nice one to cast in random battles while guarding to replenish mana for free in emergencies if you forgot to bring tents or just want to save a bit cash.
Keep going further linearly until you are just a little east from Riddari town. Once you see two small desert islands- notice how one has a tree on it. It's a location.
Save the game as it's yet again a boss fight with unknown swordsman yet again.

Proceed further and you will finally see your goal - an island with tower ruins on it, a Royal Riddari Crypt dungeon.
While Alice tells you not to loot coffins - developers said it's actually not a morale choice, so let's trust that and loot interact with everything.
Also of note that ghosts will evade all non magic hits, so hit them with holy/thunder magic.
Downstairs 'gray pillar'/tombstones are still graves, some of which have loot. There is also hidden treasure in the wall to the south with rock rubble nearby.
At the end of the dungeon is a boss - Ghost of Royal Mage with familiar. It's weak to fire.
Now pull the lever and check back the previously closed door which is now.. still closed.. just kidding, just lift it up.
Not sure if this is morale choice but I chose 'she can hear us'. Now out of the dungeon we go.

Time to sail back all the way to Elnae. It's a bit faster to go to the west/south circling around sea breeze town. There are no optional spots of note, so just sail all the way back.
Report to shipbuilder head. He sends you all the way back to Riddari.
The shortest way is probably getting to the other shore on boat and going on foot the rest of the way.

Your goal is item shop in Riddari and it's an important morale choice!
Choose diplomacy if you want the 'good' option. Then backtrack all the way back to the ship and into Elnae. You only got 35000 while needing 40, but you likely had close to 25-30k+ to begin with.
The boat is now officially yours. Set sails westward. Your stop is the land you will first come across to the south. On the map it's the small continent with Sand town and Tier Tower. Switch to ice element for melee characters here.

Your goal is Sand Town - it's hard to miss but you can also check the 4th - Desert Lanzer Statue just below it for an extra skill. This one is actually worth on Victor as well since it's straightforward atk one.
Once you are in town - cutscenes commence, your main goal is rest at inn but there are a few things to do before that:
1) One man is a beggar - give him 200 gold for a 'good morale' choice.
2) There is a granny Eloise in a very small tent house. She gives a sidequest.
Go outside the town and directly east - you will see a tent.
Not sure if it's a morale choice, but I chose 'be kind and gentle' and 'believe warren'.
The thief is in the inn. It's a miniboss fight, once you defeat him - go back to Warren in the tent. Now back to granny Eloise in the Sand. Also talk to warren for a nice defensive weapon.

Now rest at the inn to proceed with main quest. Check the palm tree afterwards to find the reply.
The next goal is a secret hideout entrance NW of town, with entrance being behind the cactus that is near the house.

You get a new character - Brom. He is a monk. A mix of both magical and physical attacks.
I would say hybrid characters always suck in RPG make games, brom does not suck as much but he is still meh. Basically he is versatility instead of specializing in something. Also has hybrid heal which also cure conditions.
I bet he would be strong if you bothered to max both his atk/matk via food.. but it's just not viable in this game. That being said he is not weak, just a bit below average.
All his 3 subclasses do something nice though:
Matk/MP is improving his arguably best damaging kit and mana pool increase.
Wu Xing is arguably best for longer battles/boss fights as each form offers pretty huge advantage for low RP cost.
Xiao Lin is nice if you just want to use him for now as a random encounter party member.
For now he is a nice random encounterer instead of Alice(whom you can use for healing out of battle)
Act 1 part 3
Time to move on with the main quest - go to Tier Tower
First go west and into the basement. You can talk with Galadin and grab some loot, but your goal is getting the key from a mage.
Once done - start climbing up the tower while grabbing loot.
On floor 4 you will get captured and control goes to Finn. Don't even try fighting as you will just die, simply escape the battles. You have a smoke bomb skill which allows to do so with higher chance.
Kill the lonely guard and you free the damsel in distress.

You get your 6th character here - Galadin, the Paladin
Galadin is mainly a tank with provoke. She also has heals but they kinda suck past early game.
All her sub classes also kinda suck, Runic Knight is the most somewhat okay one improving her tank role and allowing her to reflect magic attacks.
Can also take healer role if you don't plan to use Galadin at all and just use her as healing slave out of party.
The problem with tank in RPG maker games is the fact that you can't really do much about AoE attacks, so all characters kinda have to absorb damage in the end. And usually the further in the game you go, the more AoE the strong enemies have. And in Galadin case - she is pretty weak aside of tanking and even her provoke is not a guarantee thing anyway.
So yeah, overall not someone I recommend using.

Back to 2nd floor and into the window from which you climbed in.
Cutscenes commence and you now control a party of 6.
For random encounters I recommend using Victor/Finn/Brom/Galadin for now and just basic attacking. If you are not lazy you can also use Salome and do her spells but I feel like this is mostly extending the time of battle instead until she is stronger.
But as you can see at the front door is already a boss, so change party into Victor/Salome/Alice/Galadin.
Use enhance magic with salome ASAP and then spam hardest hitting spell.
Galadin does her provoke and and spams impale.. Victor can just go berserk(can technically replace him with brom too).. Alice mostly heals.
He is also vulnerable to a lot of conditions - stun, sleep and paralysis.

Once boss is down - go to the inn and rest. Cutscenes commence.
You can now use Einlanzer. It's kinda better than tempered axe for Victor, since it has no accuracy penalty.

With that act 1 is over and it's time to move SE towards where boat is located now.
Act 2
Once on the boat - proceed down the linear path to end up on the SE continent.

On the new continent - best element overall is fire.
Make a circle by starting to head SW then NE to reach Alabaster Mountains
A chest on cliff is reached by climbing on the cracks of the wall.
On the cave/proceed north choice - cave is an extra loot room.

Midway through - you will see a statue with offerings. It's a morale choice, interact with it twice and choose to 'leave offerings' for a good choice.
If you have been following walkthrough - this is where you get first 'good morale' achievement.

Eventually as you go down the linear path - Finn will mention secret. It's in the 1 tile wall gap between ladder down and mountain cliff.

As you go further - you get another split - either a cave entrance or going south.
Cave is extra loot, a long path with silver hairpin in the end, which reduces cost of spells.. nice for extending how long healer can keep healing you up before you have to restore her mana.

Once you are on the world map a Lone Tree is an obvious location for our usual swordsman optional fight. Save the game.
Galadin is pretty nice to tank here since he has a lot of single target attacks.
Your Salome is likely having v2 of her single target spells.. Guard with her to get RP to cast enhance spells and then start spamming the v2 spell of your choice(thunder is best against neutral elements usually)
This is probably on par with current berserk'd Victor power, especially if you have been feeding her magic ups, just like I recommended. Time slip cloak is pretty nice, giving you 10% chance to act twice.. I would put it on victor as his stats are already high to begin with.

The forest is pretty vast and there is plenty to explore. Start by going SE - you will see a burned hut along the way which is free loot.
From it - continue east to see your 5th - Forest Lanzer statue a little up north.
There is fairy but first take the Lanzer statue itself for a forest gem.
This one is a magic attack, so probably best on Salome, but you will rarely use it.
Change party to boss killing one and talk with fairy. It's a multi step battle where she will lure you across the forest. It's best to do it in one go since there is otherwise no visual indication where she is.
Save the game and commence with fairy execution. She is weak to thunder.
There are quite a few fights but reward is well worth it though - a blessed ribbon accessory, arguably most important one in the game. Protects from every status aside of instant death.
I recommend equipping it on healer as top priority since your main way to lose is usually by having your healer getting stun/paralyze/silence and such.

Once done - this part of pre bridge forest only has our main goal NW from Lanzer Statue - Alabaster Town.
There is plenty random stuff to loot in random objects. Main thing is Mana Up in one of the shelves in the 2nd floor of inn. One of the houses has a snake sidequest that we will tackle soon.
Talk with residents and eventually proceed to the west building. Then rest at the inn for some cutscenes.

Before we move on with quest - let us explore a bit.
Move across the bridge to the SE. Go the very SE part of the continent to find a lonely hill - Hidden Grotto. Simply free loot.
Now go directly North from here until you see a hole - that's the snake sidequest related one - Snake Pit.
Inside it the best element to use is ice.
The boss here is Queen Snake, which inflicts a lot of conditions. Ribbon on healer helps a lot to be able to keep healing.
Once out of pit - time to continue with main quest.

There is a secret mountain location NW of the pit, but there is nothing to do there yet.
Instead go west towards the Mithril Mine.
East is dead end with a bit loot. Some chests in the mine are Mimics. Mimics are pretty strong but not too sturdy, try to rush them down with skills.
Best element here is dark overall, mostly against humans.
Overall just explore and grab loot. NW corner of the map has secret location - it's in the wall to the right of the mithril ore sitting right near the entrance to the room.
You can get your 2nd nunchaku for Brom - this allows him to basic attack 3 times, it's pretty strong for random encounters, although animation is a bit slow. On hard difficulty it's better to have a real 2nd weapon though.

Once you are done looting - go all the way north to the locked gate and you will get a plan to get the door open via mine cart. Now go all the way south and push the cart.
Back north now for a boss fight with Captain + 2 helpers.

With quest completed - return to Alabaster Town.
Don't forget to turn in the snake queen quest.
Rest at the inn and back to town hall for a.. surprise welcome.
A long set of cutscenes commence.

You now get your 7th character - Abel, the Spellsword.
Abel is another attack/magic attack hybrid with a high focus on melee attacks. He also has a few extremely good utility spells like haste/slow, which are amazing for bossing.
His sub classes are all pretty weird. Time mage is kinda meh, Sage is kinda meh too since he is better as physical. This leaves only warrior.. which is honestly pretty nice since he has default 25% magic evasion to help counteract heavy armor low M def.
Abel is a pretty good character. Right now I recommend giving him einlanzer and making him one of your 4 random encounter characters instead of Galadin. Charging him with an element pre battle is pretty big deal to massively improve his attack value.
Eventually we will have him only be our boss exclusive characters.. which will not only save up mana for bossing but also lessen the annoyance, since he kinda needs to buff up constantly to be useful.

You are now in Riddari Castle Dungeons
Dark element is best here. The main problem is overall not having a main healer, hence your only heals out of battle are Galadin who will quickly run out. Borm as well, but that's even less mana efficient.
On the first split - go east for loot. Backtrack afterward.
On the secont split - go west first for a bit loot. The huge amount of chests you see in the background are something we will reach soon, no worry.

Once you are on the main floor there are 4 stairs to explore, I will start with optional loot ones.
First take the SW stairs. Finn will spot a secret - it's on the wall behind left statue. Keep exploring this side, you can rest in the beds.
In the end you will reach treasure room. Backtrack to the main floor.

This time take SE stairs. Biggs is here, he can sell you some stolen gear.. not sure if this is morale choice or not, but I didn't find a way to 'cancel' it to change dialogue, so I assume it doesn't matter. The gear is meh if you are exploring anyway. A katana is found in the end of this path. It's strong but - accuracy and no shield. Backtrack to main floor.

This time take NW stairs for a small room with loot. Back to main floor.

Now finally the main quest path - NE stairs.

Once you are on the roof of the castle - you will have 3 sets of stairs.
I will name them stair 1/2/3, 1 being the closest one to where you came from and 3 being farthest.
Stairs 1 cannot be accessed.
Stairs 3 are a small room with a bit loot.
Proceed with main quest on stairs 2.

Once you are in the big room - the first door leads to a bit loot and king's journal you can read.
Second door is Alice's room where she keeps her trusty Mithril Mace.
Grab the loot and move on.

On next floor - go north first for the loot.
On the other split - go north towards the stairs down for another small loot room.
Finally back and to the south stairs.
You are about to face a boss. Since you don't have a healer - it's best to burst this fast.
Boss is weak to thunder, so Abel with thunder enhanced prior to entering, Salome and 2 melee with a thunder element.

Einlanzer is stronger - reequip it and proceed out and then to the ship north and act 3!
Act 3
There is technically A LOT you can explore now that you have ship.. it's also decently fast.
But we will only do stuff that we find near our objectives first.

Our first goal is Swordbearer Temple.
Learn to navigate based on the crappy map that you have. Your ship is currently near Riddari. Temple is on the NE corner of the continent you were previously on.
There is no secret stuff in the temple, so just go into library for cutscenes.
SUPER WARRIOR joins you temporarily.

Now you need to go to Fusilier continent. It's SW one. And the 'monster mouth' is also on the SW, it's the tip which looks like it wants to devour the random islands.

Dragonmouth Cave is the name of location you are going to visit. It's not visible on world map but you will figure out when you are there easily.
In this map quite a lot of enemies are strong against melees - either counterattacking or being sturdy to physicals.
By now I recommend making Salome your permanent party member. By now you should have fed her quite a lot of mana/matk/speed food and she should move before enemy passively. On hard you might need extra Agi from equip. Occasionally guard with her and mana steal or mana regen. Or if you simply have chance - do it whenever possible. Despite mana managing being a bit annoying, it's totally worth with how strong the magic will be.
Finn will spot a secret item. It's on the wall left and below torch.

Proceed until world map/2nd map of the cave. South split for extra loot. Back on world map go north towards Dryden Town.
There isn't much to explore here, simply do what you want and proceed to the house NW.
Super Warrior leaves your party, time to go to inn and rest.

The cutscenes happen.. kill one husk and follow another to Husk Dungeon
On first split go north for loot. Proceed forward while taking the short splits towards chests.

Once you are on 2nd map - the map floor will be dealing you minor damage as you go.
First go west. Then proceed east. On the middle of the map Finn will spot a secret. It's approximately in the wall below the weird yellow thing, the 2 tile gap. On the split go north first for 2 paths to loot.
Eventually take path toward the boss of the dungeon - Husk Queen, it's weak to thunder.
You will get a permanent HP degen in this battle but the boss itself is not too strong. Simply keep AoE healing with recovery 2 on Alice.

Before you go back - visit the lone tree to the very east dead end of the world map for our usual Shen/Swordsman fight.
This time he gives you one of the best accessories for the melee characters - Genji Glove. It makes you do 2 attacks instead of 1 with basic attack. Amazing on victor for random encounters.

Once done - back to the town, feel free to rest up and talk to shopkeepers for some free goodies. Your goal is to the north of the town - Dryden's Passage
Another pretty linear location with small splits. Finn will tell of a secret - it's 2 tiles right from the crossroad crystal.
On 2nd map you will automatically rest and a small battle will happen using only Finn/Salome, your party will autochange too, so check it to ensure you have correct party. Also check weapon of Finn, it might have changed.
Go west for loot first. Then back and east to proceed.
On 3rd map you need to pull lever to lower bridge.

You are now on the world map again. Proceed until you see a tent to the south - visit it for an optional sidequest with Poe, the NPC you have seen in the orc cavern before. This time you need 10 whump stones. You have probably already got 10 - if not, don't forget to grind them out and bring them back. Item you get gives 50% chance to inflict Slow when attacking.. is a pretty neat debuff for bossing, can read what it does on Abel.

You now have no choice but to go to Fusilier North Gate.
The town consists of west and east.
Go to west first, explore what you fish but important part is library which gives you a side quest to explore certain ruins we will visit soon.
On the east you can talk with Lucille in the inn. There is also a fast travel to south part of continent should you ever need it. South from item shop is a house with pot behind it - it has luck up.
Once you are done exploring town - go into the castle. There is a guards room you can grab speed up from before going to the king.
There is supposed to be halloween event here, but even changing the time on the PC - it didn't allow me in, so I assume it's not accessible anymore, correct me if there is a way to do so though. I even tried setting the year it was in and it didn't work.

Proceed to the king - cutscenes commence, the king himself temporarily joins you.
He is level 42 and certainly worth using for now, I used him instead of Abel for random encounters.
King has some dialogue with town NPCs but nothing critical.

With king in tow - we can now go do the sidequest for the historian. The location is well hidden and the description is a bit misleading.
To better describe it - go 2 tiles up from south gate and then all the way west and interact with the tile there facing west to reach a Hidden Cave.
The enemies here might be dangerous for you - I recommend saving often just in case of full wipe. Get used to at least someone dying here. To conserve more mana - revive with Galadin out of combat and heal with Alice, since she heals more and revival does not heal much anyway.
Your best solution here is Salome spamming tier 2 AoE with ribbon equipped for condition immunity.

On 2nd map you can enter the fort, which is a puzzle style dungeon.
Inside fort you can read inscriptions on the walls with king in your party(reason we started now)
1st map is mostly linear until you see a NW lever you can push or proceed forward.
This lever sets one of the 3 positions for middle platform.
Press it until platform is near you to the west but first go north afterwards.
In the map north first go north until 2nd inscription.. then go to small SE location to grab a chest.

Now backtrack to the lever. and go west on the platform you moved previously. On the west map first go south and move the rock. Now you are free to loot this whole room and proceed SE.
You are now on main room again and near SW lever this time - this lever moves the cross on the main platform to either up/mid/down.
For now set it down to progress then go to NW lever and move platform to the middle. This allows you to push the YELLOW button.

Now go the lever that opened up. This lever moves cross of the main platform. Set cross MIDDLE. and go back to NW lever to move platform west again.
This allows you to press BLUE button. Pressing it allows you to press RED button.
This opens gate to a South lever, which moves the platform.

First move the platform cross UP via lever near the red button. Now go to NW lever and move platform west. Cross all the way to the south to the new South lever.
Use this lever to finally move platform east to reach new NE location! There is your 3rd inscription just before the entrance to the location.

New map has some small split loot you can grab as well as 4th inscription.
After 4th inscription take split to SW first for a chest. Then move east to proceed.
This map is final. WARNING - the statue interaction will result in boss fight with Ancient Basilisk. Boss is weak against Ice.
Assuming your party is victor/finn/king/salome I would change finn to alice and proceed. If you got Salome to level 37 by now - she will absolutely decimate the boss with Ice 3.
True Knight Belt is pretty nice on bulky characters like Brom and Galadin.. but since we don't really use them - it's kinda eh.
Once boss is down - backtrack and fast travel out of the dungeon when prompted.
Act 3 part 2
Go to west part of town and turn in the quest in the library. Minerva plate is the reward you get. It allows you to resist most of the important conditions on the female characters at the cost of big speed penalty. Remove ribbon from Salome and give her greater boots of speed instead. This allows you to be immune to most important conditions while having amazing speed.
My accessories on Salome are Greater focus + Greater boots now. Can give ribbon back to Alice.

Rest at the inn if you need to(although you will rest automatically soon, so if it's not critical - just move on) and let us proceed with main quest.

Our goal is through the south gates - Kuli Town
The path is mostly linear until it splits into 2 - Kuli is on the NE path.
Cutscenes happen as you enter and you fight 6 royal guards. Nothing too special, an AoE or 2 will wipe them out.

Now feel free to explore Kuli town.
There is one important Morale choice - help old lady with moving barrel of water for good morale.
If you agree - follow the road all the way west until you see a very small house with barrel near it, that's your goal, but it between cliff and the barrel empty slot.

You can also name a horse.. but that does not seem to matter.

Fortune teller does 2 things - tells your 'karma' first and your 'main quest goal' second.

There is a storehouse, which is a puzzle room with rewards leaving building or touching letter resets the position of the crates.

Library gives a sidequest which leads us to same location as main quest, so might as well take it.

Once you are done exploring town - proceed to Ancient Castle Ruins.
As recommended - equip your melee with fire/holy elements.
Follow linear path until your first split.
First go north - grab broken tablet fragment 2 nearby then go east. Keep following linear path and grab tablet fragment 1 on the castle wall outside. The path eventually ends with a few chests.

No choice but to go back all the way to first split. Go south for a small corridor with chest but your goal is east. Characters will mention you need to grab ladder to proceed
First go east - Finn will menton a secret. It's a bit misleading since it's all the way east at the end of the corridor under the last upside down stool.
Loot everything, including tablet fragment 3. Now go outside to seemingly dead end with chest, but loot a key from skeleton near chest.

Now all the way back to split and go west.
Proceed linearly but on 3F don't miss the tablet fragment 4!
Eventually unlock the library with key you looted for long cutscenes.
Library has no secrets so you can fast travel out immediately.

Before you go back to main castle - go to Kuli to hand the 4 tablet fragments to wizard there.
He will offer to teach you a skill... The skill is 50 RP 50% max HP heal to all allies.
I would say practically speaking - you will rarely ever use it since you will likely just heal constantly with Alice. But you can also use Alice to buff up, hence technically you might want it on someone else.
This someone else probably wants to be on your boss team, so here are choices if you follow my party:
Victor - victor generates RP easily, so he will have no problem casting it, but he is also your main damager.
Salome - has trouble generating RP and often needs it for mana restoration, but is otherwise good candidate.
Abel - he is kinda support to begin with but will be busy upkeeping his buffs/debuffs.
Pretty much all choices are debatable, so it's up to you. You can even hand it to Alice for occasional no mana cost heal.

Proceed with main quest now - Fusilier Castle.
Go to throne room to talk with queen. Then proceed east towards private quarters.
You are now invisible - heal up and change into temporary boss setup as you will be facing a boss - Kyra.
Melee attacks will get countered most of the time, so it's better to just outright guard/support with melee, while Salome does most work. Although you can turn Victor berserk with his Blind Rage once he has enough RP. Also charge up the king with inner focus/eye of the storm and then just gamble unleash him with blade dance.
She can technically reflect magic too, but that only happens after she casts a skill to reflect, after which go back to guarding with Salome and by now your victor is probably blind raged and king is ready to unleash his blade dance under atk buff.
Magic reflect falls off pretty fast, so keep an eye on the magic reflect icon under boss name when targeting it. But with some luck - berserked Victor and Blade dance of King can annihilate her doing 10k+ damage each.

Once boss is down - grab chests and head out, cutscenes will commence.
Go to inn, feel free to talk with Lucille and then rest.

Lucille finally joins us. She is a dancer. Has 20% default evade chance. She does not get mana from level ups, hence she needs to get it via mana ups if you plan to use her as dancer.
I will note that if you are following my suggestions then I won't use her at all. BUT she is totally viable as a dancer/supporter instead of Abel. She is just.. a different kind of support.
She has 3 sub classes - rogue turns her into weaker version of Finn.. so meh.. Archer improves her as a bow damager... neat, but nothing special.
Scholar gives her max mana, which improves her dance utility and 10% matk... that's her main purpose to ever use her overall, so that's the best one.
Overall if you plan to use her for bossing - she is mainly good against physical attack bosses early on with her 30% physical evasion dance. As usual - she is NOT bad, but I am not going to use her, since I prefer how Abel synergizes with our party instead.

As you might notice - the king is gone from our party sadly.
This means you need to add 4th member for random encounter, so Borm or Abel instead again.
Once you are ready - go to throne room and move onto the Air Ship.
You will face a series of non stop but pretty easy battles against gargoyles. They are weak to wind, which you probably can't abuse much.
Once you are on the roof - go down and grab chest for a great shield for Alice.
Prepare a boss party, best element is dark here, and engage the mages. This is a set of 2 battles - you first face the mages and then face Baiz. This time you get healed up in between though.
Mages are very weak, simply punch through them.
Baiz is... well, relatively weak, but he can counter your melee attacks.. so same strategy as previous boss - mostly defend with melee until you can go for very strong attack gambles or a blind rage in case of Victor. Alice spams heal and Salome guards/enhances into tier 3 spell spam.

Once Baiz is down - return to airship, another long set of cutscenes commences.
Borm wants to become a swordbearer, so we drop him off in the temple. Go talk with the master in the kitchen then back to the airship.
Act 4 and the temple search commence.
Act 4
You are back in Fusilier now. No choice but to proceed to the Swamp now.
Borm is no longer in party, so Abel is required.
Swamp is pretty similar to husk lair.
Best element is fire.

On first split - go SW first for loot then proceed on.
On second 3 way split - go S/SW again for more loot, then return and go to S/SE to next map Finn will mention a secret wall but it's yet another misleading one.
Return to 3 way split once you are done looting and proceed with final path.
Once you are back to same location go S/SE until you see 2 chests. The southern one is where hidden compartment is. It's below the rotten tree slightly north of it.
Grab the other chest as well and proceed forward upstairs until split. First grab chest to the west that you have seen but couldn't grab.

Now first go south and grab chest there. Go south further into another location to reach world map and 6th Lanzer Swamp Statue
Yet another magic damage skill, so best on someone with good matk like salome.. but will rarely use it.

Backtrack and go north, proceed down the linear path while grabbing loot along.
Before going north to yet another map - notice there is a small corridor to the west, which is loot.
You are now on world map.

Time for first temple - Temple of Yvalak
All the advice you need is given to you - equip thunder element.
It seems like split but you can only go west in reality.
Finn will mention a secret - it's in the SW corner of mini room with broken pillar in the middle of the 3.

Floor 2 starts linearly until you reach RED button.
Red button resets position of bridges.
Levers change position of 1 of the bridges. It's pretty straightforward how you press levers to reach 2nd red button BUT notice how north lever floor has suspicious hole - you can drop down it, do so for some loot!
Backtrack and Press 2nd red button to reach 3 chests here.

Go to 3rd floor, which is linear until 4th.
On 4th floor do following:
Press lever nearby you until bridge to south lever pops. Use it to grab 3 chests. Progress to press 2nd red button now. Press the closest lever until you can grab final chest for a Fuisilier Key - we will remember to use it later.
Proceed linearly down to floor 3 grabbing loot along the way.

On floor 3 notice there is a hole you can drop into for extra loot - do NOT do this yet.. this requires you to trek back all the way from start of dungeon. We will use it on the way back.
Instead go to floor 2.
The chest below is what you will get once you drop down.
Proceed linear path of ladders now. Eventually you reach floor 5.
Floor 5 is linear until you reach.. a dead end? Nope, no worries, just touch the last northern pillar in the dead end.

Before you touch the tablet - prepare for a Boss fight with Sea Dragon. Lightning element is what you want, so pre buff on Abel.
Abel also likely has haste 2 learned by now - that's the main reason I like him the most in boss fights, it's an incredibly strong ability allowing you to act multiple times pretty often.
After you get a warning that big attack is coming - unless you put guard up or are at full HP - you likely will get a party wipe. It's your choice if you want to take it slow or try to burst it with Abel. If you want to take it slow - do the magic def up instead with him to neglect most of the boss damage.

As you backtrack - you get another party member - Wolf Silver
He is not too strong but you can use him instead of Abel in random encounters if you want, since he is less annoying to control.
Game asks if you want to backtrack - say NO, remember how we can drop down one hole first.
Backtrack all the way manually until you reach floor 3 with a hole in it and drop down it. Grab chest and drop down again.
Drop down again and you are near temple entrance now.
Re equip fire gear because we have to backtrack through swamp - you can't fast travel it.
While you are backtracking - silver will bark at a wall - check the wall nearby for a room with 3 chests, including an equip for wolf making it at least somewhat sturdy.

Once you are in Fusilier - remember how we got the key in the Temple of Yvalak?
Visit the castle and go east/north from the entrance to a wooden door which you can unlock with a lot of goodies! One of the crates has solid gold amount too.

Didn't mention it yet - but for finn a great combination of weapons is now a Honed edge paired with best normal dagger. This will give him pretty crazy crit rate. Honed dagger is weak, but 30% crit tradeoff is totally worth. Can technically pair with Kama, but it's probably too big of an atk drop for only a little crit increase.

Either way - once you are done looting proceed to the inn and you will automatically rest.
You get a cutscene explaining what happens when mama angel and papa dwarf get close to each other.
After another set of long cutscenes - fast travel via cart nearby the inn like game advised and go on the ship.

I will spoil it but... the world is round What I mean is - if you travel east from dragon mouth - you will quickly end up near SE continent.
Your goal is SE continent and a small space leading into the forest on east side of content, it's just south of the part of continent with swordbearer temple.
Be aware this will be a set of 2 VEEEERY long dungeons, so if you want to stock up on something or do something else - feel free to, but I am stalling exploration until we get aircraft.

You immediately enter Lanzer Forest map upon entering the forest. Ice/fire overall best elements here.
You can find a gold nyxie in this dungeon. It's pretty strong and will flee very often. Due to that I don't recommend fighting it and just flee instead. If you got abel with you instead of wolf - you can try to slow her down and then pray the attacks land.
Later on you will get a character who can hit high evasion stuff reliably.
This is a pretty annoying map if you want to loot it without walkthrough, but walkthrough allows you to backtrack least.

Start by going south. and proceeding linearly for a long time until a split.
On split head west first, loot everything linearly until dead end and backtrack to split.
This time go north. Grab everything until dead end and head back all the way to start of the map.

Once you are at map entrance - head north. It's a small dead end with a bit loot.

This time continue west from the entrance - the only remaining path.

Keep going linearly for a long time grabbing loot along until you reach a West/South split near the tree. Go south, keep going a long way until split. Head east first for a small dead end with loot.
Continue to the west now linearly for a very long time. Eventually you reach a North/East split.
If you were to go east - you would notice you are back to original wast/south split, so you have explored all optional stuff.

So you have only one way forward from here - North.
Keep going until west/east split. Go east first for some loot and a dead end.
Back and west we go, the forest is about to end.

But don't relax yet - we are now in Lanzer Temple
Best element is Ice here.
You can only go east right now. Lever nearby gives access to chest. Lever up north does nothing so continue linearly. Before going into floor 2 - check SE corner above lower pillar for Finn hidden wall.
The lever you pulled opened the west path on floor 1, so backtrack all the way and follow it.

Go until a 5 split. I will name em 1-5.
Go for 1 first - there is a collar for dog if you want to turn it glass cannon. It's overall worth since battles aren't too hard anyway.
Grab loot from 3/4 and then proceed to 5 for floor 3.

On floor 3 you are ambushed. Floor 3 has lots of small rooms. It's linear:
SW > NW > SE > NE to reach floor 4.
Act 4 part 2
On floor 4 - grab chest then pull 2 levers to go NW corner and grab chest.
Pull both levers again to reach SW corner. Do NOT pull this lever. Instead go back to NW and pull northern lever. Then into NE room and pull southern lever - this allows you to reach SE corner with a lever.
This opens the main door back on floor 1.. so yeah, backtracking time.

Once you are on floor 1 - proceed north from the entrance.
Luckily path to floor 5 is pretty fast from there.

On floor 5 you might encounter stone golem - it's extremely sturdy to melee, so you will need to ice 3 with Salome at least 2 times.

On a 3 way split - go East and North for loot, then proceed south. Grab the chests along the way and proceed to floor 6.

On floor 6 - before approaching the obvious boss room save the game/heal up.
You will fight 4 assassins. Cutscenes commence.

You can now approach the monument, but this time be ready for a Boss fight with Earth Dragon!
Ice element is the way to go.
Use the standard Victor/Abel/Salome/Alice team, this is pretty much now your permanent setup for bosses.
Abel always starts with haste 2, Victor can either build rage or basic attack until he gets enough for a rage buff. Alice preemptively heals since she is slow as hell. If Salome gets at least 5 rage - you can guard with her to enhance magic with her next turn before you start spamming the big nuke.

With earth dragon - first time he will wipe the floor with you easily, that's intended.
Once you lose - you can change formation, also use this time to buff Abel with Ice then close the menu. Buffed Salome will likely do ~9-10k per cast of ice 3, if you get lucky with double turns on her, she will obliterate it pretty hard basically.
Overall he is pretty weak when you fight him 2nd time.

Time to backtrack all the way to the ship. Keep going until you reach 3 way split(with one way being where you came from).. from there head east. You will end up in a split near the tree. Head north. Linear path from there leads all the way to the entrance(which is to the east)

Enter your ship for another long set of cutscenes.
We have an extremely fast airship which you can use to travel with no worry for obstacles and random encounters. We will be visiting a lot of optional stuff soon but first let us visit the Swordbearer Temple and talk to master in the library.

Long cutscenes commence and you gain a new recruit - Ratt.
Ratt is mainly a bow user by default. You can make him a meh axe user via sub class.
He also has break abilities, which are nice to lower boss stats, but we won't be using him in boss fights if you are following my recommendations. That being said he is great for bossing otherwise, just like dancer, whom we also won't use for it.
Instead we will use Ratt as a random encounter damager, hence we will take deadshot subclass for +15% crit chance.

You now have to duo this place with Borm/Ratt. Luckily both are pretty strong characters.
Equip Ratt with your best gear since he will be one of our main random encounterers.
Brom should also be doing pretty good with nunchaku + real weapon or even double nunchaku.
Both will often kill the enemy they target in 1 shot.
Equip borm with true knight belt and monk gloves and he will be nigh invulnerable here.

You might encounter Gold Nixie here as well. Now we got brom who can hit her 100% with aimed shot though!

Either way - first revisit the cave you were in for 3 chests.
Then proceed forward. First go north on the split for optional loot then backtrack.
Follow the creature inside the cave. In the cave - take the eastern split first for loot. Then proceed outside of the cave.

Once outside - proceed forward and visit the 1st cave you see for a chest. There is high slime encounter rate here, so just grab chest and leave fast.
Now visit the eastern cave for more loot.
Then go SE for a bit more loot.

Finally go SW to proceed. Watch cutscene.
After cutscene - save the game and approach for a boss fight. This is not a hard fight. If you got stances on monk - use snake one and then use strongest skills you have. With Ratt spam his strongest skills or if he is blinded - spam aim shot.

Despite what happens - you now have almost every single character in your party now.

Time to set sail towards a plethora of optional stuff.
First go a bit west and you will see a 7th River Lanzer Statue - grab the gem. This one is best on victor.

Just south of this statue is a Colosseum - visit it.
We will try this once to grab some rewards.
Prepare a boss team - Victor, Abel, Alice, Salome.

You will start with full HP/Mana after each fight. Sadly this means preparing with Abel is pointless since his buff is cleared too.
First ~3 fights(you could have visited it as early as you got deep water ship) are super easy at this point, just spam rush them down.
I will list weakness to speed it up:
1 - Ice, 2 - none, 3 - Fire
4 needs you to burn/poison it or spam Salome neutral element pierce mag def skill like burst 2.
5 - element depends on color... just ignore element and kill it.
6 - weak to holy/fire. Starting with this one you need to play seriously but he is still not very dangerous.
7 - his elements are Ice > Lightning > Fire in that order(you will in fact see another element, but this is the correct order since he changes element before turn starts)
So you want use thunder > fire > ice magic with Salome. Still not too hard, at worst certainly doable with a reload.
8 - weak to fire. the main difficulty of this one is it inflicting loads of conditions.
With Minerva armor on Salome, Ribbon on healer and pretty big luck stat on victor and resilient rage - you should not have much problem. Abel just needs to cast his haste turn 1 and he already did most of his importance.. after that can either go for magic barrier or slow with him.
9 - this one is not a pushover, I just barely won by some lucky haste/slow combo where I also managed to pull off the avalice embrace on Alice to just barely survive his big nuke.
Salome must cast her buff early so she can start big hitting with thunder 3.
that is to say don't bother too much if you can't win.
10 - don't even bother right now. He will often do 2 attacks which by default deal ~2-2.5k AoE magic damage.

Rewards:
1 - elixir, 2 - one of every stat up, 3 - genji gloves, 4 - ten power ups, 5 - 10 elixirs, 6 - ribbon, 7 - mirror shield, 8 - runic plate mail, 9 - chromatic bangle.
Notable stuff out of this:
Stat foods - that's always good.
Genji gloves - 2nd pair of genji gloves is great for Ratt, this will allow him to one shot most random encounter enemies paired with focused lense and ninja garb for immense crit chance.
Ribbon - second one is best used on Abel for now, as he is pretty much pure support and main way to counter his turn 1 haste is usually him getting controlled
Mirror Shield - it's pretty insane for where we are in the game atm, I use it on Victor.
Runic Plate Mail - MASSIVE def/mdef increase at the cost of speed. I would say Abel is good target for this one, making him night invulnerable passively. His speed does not matter too much as his haste support only matters after turn is over anyway. Add defender sword to that and he will reach ~400 def + 300 mdef without food.
Chromatic bangle - nice defensive anti magic accessory.. but nothing too crazy honestly, hence why I told it's okay to skip fight 9.

A lot of NPCs will comment based on how far you reached, some might even give you minor items. You can now also open up the duo colosseum to the east.
With our current gear/level - you can go for medium difficulty.
I recommend Victor/Abel. Abel is currently a monster tank who will take nearly no damage.. and victor is a solo king once he gets his rage going.
Medium is pretty pushover by now, so just haste 2 with Abel and then spam strongest nukes or even basic attacks.
Act 4 Part 3
The reward for medium difficult is Hermes boots - the best agi improving boots, they will make whoever wears them the fastest more than likely. Great to replace current boots on Salome.
If you clear it second time - you will only get bolster strength/magic potions, so no real point.
My new salome gear combo is angel pendant + hermes boots.

That's all with colosseum for now, time to move on.

I will go continent by continent now and note every notable encounter, even if they are not something we can do yet:

SE Map:
A bit east of colosseum is Mount Toureg, it's not something we can do right now.

Directly west of Lanzer Temple is a mountain pass with no current use that I already mentioned before, just reminding of it for the sake of checklist of hidden areas.

SW Map:
nothing of note

NW Map:
I will set Tier tower as 1st landmark.

From Tier Tower fly east to reach island with a burned house.

Back to Tier tower - a bit west is a Mountain with extremely strong monsters.. you can't access it yet.

From this mountain fly a tiny bit west to see a closed off desert area and a suspicious mountain. This is Pug Town - the dream for those who like to collect 1 of each item, it sells most of the old shop gears... it's also talking dogs.

From pug town fly a few tiles north then keep flying west to reach what is a 'Boomerang shaped island' on the map with accessable mountain which has a bit loot.

NE Map:
Nothing near the old places.

The north continent is new and has some optional stuff though.

There is an igloo on the very small islands to the SE of the continent. It has an incredibly useful spear

There is only a small landing platform on the continent, can't land anywhere else.
You can scout the whole island with airship before proceeding to go on foot though..

Important note on this continent: dwarven sentries can reflect spells, so be careful with Salome.

We will start with optionals:
Final Mountain Lanzer Statue - closest location you can reach. It's a mini maze, there is also chest with gold you can claim. The skill is pretty useless.

Now go north from Lanzer statue to reach a Lonely Tree - Frozen Valley location.
You would never guess who awaits us.. yup, it's Mr. Shen.
It's finally our final battle with him.
You know the drill - change to boss party, save game and go ham.
Reward is a relatively crappy sword which can blind.

Back to random encounter team.

Next destination since avalanche is blocking the path to temple - Nynnyaw town!
This town has a lot of stuff to do:
First of all there are loads of items in random objects.

There is a 'discount shop', buy a lifetime deal there, it's not too expensive.
It also has a secondary 'brownie' quest that we will handle soon.

Weapon shop owner wants a raw sack of gold we got a long time ago and gives access to 2nd floor with titanium equip. I recommend buying titanium wand for Salome as there is no better rod for her for some time.
This might be a morale choice, not too sure.

A small house has chest ticket quest, 1st ticket is near the entrance of this town, I will mention other ones later once we get to them.

For main quest - inside the fort talk to dwarf captain. You will get access to Titanium mine.

Let us complete it to get rid of Avalanche nearby.
Enter Titanium Mine west of town.

inside the mine is a cat - this is a morale choice! Feed her 2 elixirs in a row for good morale.
If you are following walkthrough and made all good choices so far - you will get the 2nd good morale achievement now.

Occasionally you will find invisible Brownies - those should instantly die to Salome tier 2 ice AoE. But they have high evade/magic evade.

Best element in the dungeon is Ice. Walk until split and go south for some loot first. Continue.
Finn will spot a secret - it's behind a corner near spade.

Proceed until room with levers - grab chests first.
Notice the suspicious lonely log - this is the Brownie sidequest one.Save game just in case before touching it as it's a set of 3 battles in a row and fighting those is RNG.

Start with SE lever to get to SW lever. After pressing SW lever - jump down and go SE on the bottom cart to reach NW lever. Jump down and go SE and jump on the northern cart there to reach SE. Now jump on your final cart to proceed.

Next room is a cart room. It might seem as puzzle at first but it's linear.
Eventually you reach final map on the south.

Before you go towards our obvious boss - swap to boss party as usual. Boss has loads of status effects, which shouldn't be much harm to your party, since Victor has high luck, abel/alice have ribbon and salome has minerva plate.

After you beat boss - you are automatically near the entrance now.
Go back to town and turn in the Brownie quest first then the main quest as well.

Dwarf captain also open a titanium shop.. but that's useless to us. Go to world map now and back to the avalanche blocking the path.

Now we have an airship landing place closer to town and close to temple.

Before you proceed with main quest - I recommend you first complete chest ticket quest now that you have a more comfortable place to land your airship, here is guide for it:

You need to complete it in 3 sets, can't get set 2/3 before getting set 1 and such is what I mean.

Prizes for sets are:
1 - mega elixir(you need it for duo Colosseum entry)
2 - finesse bracers(+30% atk but disable basic attack command, nice for high RP generation victor)
3 - Profiteer Charm, this is main reward, it doubles gold gain. I like to keep it on Finn, who is a pretty weak character anyway that we mostly use for better item drop rate in random encounters.

I will assume you have traveled and completed the chest tickets now.
With that - you are fully done with available optional stuff now, so just proceed with main quest now - towards the Temple of Avalice
Best element is thunder here.
Salome wipes slime groups in one tier 2 thunder AoE and most other groups with tier 3 one.

While it might seem like you have choice where to go - you don't, you need to visit both east/west linearly and push buttons there so you can progress north from the entrance.

Once you are done activating hexagram - proceed through it to 3F for a multi floor 3+4F teleporter puzzle.

Floor 3 east side has secret inside northernmost wall there.

Since this is complex to explain blindly - I made a map instead.
Ignore the numbers being in random order - I simply put them in the order of how I made the map.

You can use either this map yourself to navigate to all rooms with last one being the ladder room.

Here is how to quick grab all loot and go to next floor, numbers are what I have in my map:
0 > 1 - 2 chests here
2 - chest here
3 - 2 chests here
25 - chest here
26 > 2 > 3 > 23 - chest here
24 - secret on northern wall
10 - chest here
11 > 12 > 13 > 14 > 15 > 16 - chest here
18 > 12 > 6 - chest here
7 > 20 - 2 chests + exit

You end up on floor 5... don't tell me it's another freaking multi floor maze >>
Just kidding, this one is actually mostly linear once you start moving.

On entrance split - west is treasure and dead end.
Proceed east.
On another split - I will just mention that this is one interconnected ground and not a maze. First explore northern part but your goal is stairs on SW of the map.
Proceed linearly for now it's a very long linear path, there is 1 tricky chest where you have to go north immediately after getting out of stairs, otherwise the stairs will block you.
Keep going linearly.

Eventually you end up on floor 7 - this one has treasure on south corners.
And the usual boss monument.
Act 4 part 4
Save the game...
I will warn you now - once you are past that fight, arguably hardest game section starts where your party members are limited, so if you are on hard difficulty.. well, you will have to escape most battles more than likely for quite a long while and grinding more will be much more time consuming.. so if you want to grind and feeling you are weak - now is best time.

I will spoil it, but you won't be able to use Salome sadly.. and not brom/ratt either. So make your boss party without Salome and the other 2. Probably just keep Finn, since he is geared.
This is a pretty easy fight, just be careful that brom can try counterattacking.
Focus salome/ratt first and then whittle brom down as well.

Long cutscenes commence after the fight.

You are now again a party of 4 and have to find Abel.
Rest up in inn if you need to go and go to world map

Your party is ill suited for random encounters so I would say it's better to just escape battles.

Abel is located in the secret spot where you fought the swordmaster Shen for the final time.
Once you get Abel - you have to trek back all the way to airship near the temple.. sucks, I know.

Once you reach the airship - it's flying time to Swordbearer Temple
Talk to master in sparring room and after some revelations - you now have your next task.

Talk to master again to enter the Strahl Keep
Our party is still limited but this time we at least have abel.
I recommend Victor/Lucille/Finn/Abel for random encounter party BUT I recommend running from every enemy that is not cerberus.
Not only it's pointless to grind without other party members, but it's also pretty hard without Salome, who was our main carry.

The reason we fight cerberus is because it drops a special loot we will need for a quest.

Either way, once in Strahl keep you will notice it's another dungeon with annoyances. This time it's an arrow that sends you flying in it's direction until you hit the wall.
Take east arrow for loot then go west.
Some chests are mimics when you grab them, so save just in case.

On platform with 3 arrows - take west one first, leading up.
Grab the chest and back to 3 arrow platform, take the northernmost one.
Path is linear, one arrow is hidden behind statue.

On the next map - it's linear button pressing.
You also find Poe, who gives you quest for 10 bones from cerberus, hence why I told to fight them and only them.
It's important to note you need to finish this quest before ending the dungeon, it is missable since you can't revisit!

On the next map is a mini boss fight with 2 fiends. Lusi is technically okay enough for healing it with her heal dance.

On the next map is a bandit - not sure if it's morale choice but spare him just in case if you want to be good.
On the split - head east first, you will reach the previous locations where the master was for quite a lot of loot.
There is another bandit who hints us on elements of fiends ahead if you spare him.
While it's still a mini boss fight - I would approach it more serously, since our party is not the best.

Before you can proceed to next map - Finn will tell you about hidden compartment. It's behind statue in SE corner.

On the next map - you will see a dragon. It's an optional boss fight you can do.
It's in fact pretty easy with a bit luck since Victor with mirror shield can reflect a lot of dangerous spells pretty often and it is weak to fire element it itself casts too.
The chests have blood weapons which remove 1k HP but have pretty huge atk stat.. overall not worth, but might be ok for random encounters if you can 1 turn wipe enemies.

In this map you might also encounter Behemoth enemy as random encounter - it's a mini boss you can fight for some nice loot, but you need to approach him as a serious fight.
This is another MISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT, since you can't revisit.

Dungeon is about to end - do not forget to backtrack for Poe quest and grind more cerberus if you didn't do it yet.

Eventually backtrack.

Just as game tells you - save before proceeding to next map since boss fight automatically starts.
Maltis and Coza, a duo boss fight.
Do the usual Abel haste 2 and focus on the Maltis first. Victor with rage can solo wipe the remaining one if required.

Once you win - it's not yet over, another fight with true form of Coza begins but you are fully restored and all party members are available again..
Not only that - you have 2 temporary ones - Shen and Kairn.
Both are of immense levels, so you certainly want them into the party.
Shen can heal and kairn is copy of king you had before - samurai.

Other 2 members should be victor/abel, as those are the only 2 capable of remotely adding anything to those 2 with abel being most important.
Shen and Kairn should technically be able to duo this, but it would be slow. A rage/berserk'd victor will speed up the process by a lot and haste of abel helps a lot too.
In fact I managed to crit for 33k with Victor in blind rage, which pretty much nearly settled the fight by itself.

Once you beat it - cutscenes commence and you are eventually back at swordbearer temple.
Some optional stuff opens up and act 5 commences.
Act 5
Talk with NPCs in the temple if you wish to, but there is nothing too important.

One of the NPCs wants a reply.. not sure if it matters, but I picked 'never give up hope'

You are hinted on the optional stuff you can do - I already mentioned those places before.
Or you could go for main quest instead by touching monument. You can always go back too by the way.

But we will start with optionals.

First of all I will explain what is available:
We will ignore colosseum as we didn't improve much from when we were there before anyway.

1) Mount Toureg (Volcano) near the swordbearer temple.

2) Death Mesa mountain in the desert area.

3) Secret Paladin Hideout - this one is actually not mentioned by Shen.
It's located very close to swordbearer temple in the mountain a bit SW of it/West of Lanzer Temple, a place I mentioned multiple times.

I recommend doing option 3 first since it's loot with no fights.

Cutscenes automatically happen once you enter the Secret Paladin Hideout location.
Grab all the loot inside and talk with Gwendolen in the NW corner.
You can teach provoke to Victor, Brom or Finn..
I would honestly teach it to Abel myself if it was possible, but whatever.
The only one in boss party is victor, so might as well teach him, but it's honestly not something you will use.
Abel learns holy weapon, which is his best MP based weapon buff when none of the other elements hit weakness.

Let's start with volcano dungeon.

Go into Mount Toureg
Best element here is Wind > Ice

First map is linear. On 2nd map go west for treasure first.
You now have a split of west/east going through burning lava to next maps.

East is dead end for now, so go west.

Proceed linearly grabbing loot along the way until map with bridge. Finn will tell he spots treasure midway. It's on eastern wall below the stone.
Going south on the ground seems like dead end but you can go under the bridge to get around rock, keep going linearly until you reach the very end with lots of treasure.
Now backtrack and go via the bridge, proceed linearly for a very long time.

Once you reach the room with spiders - save the game.
We are about to face boss ambush. Boss itself is weak to fire.
Winning this fight is pretty much RNG.
Boss and minions hit like a truck, but minions are pretty low HP, so can be bursted down. Basically all depends how attacks of spider lands and who dies.
Ideally you want situation where most stuff lands on Abel/Victor
Force wall on alice is pretty nice if you get an extra turn with her. Slow on boss too.
Minions will die on 2nd flame 3 of Salome.
Conflagration on Salome will deal 10k+, even more with magic buff, but it's not mana efficient and fight is long, so it's best only if paired with magic buff.
Once minions are dead - if you managed to maintain full party - you have pretty much won since boss alone won't be as impactful and you can start raging on victor more than likely, finishing the boss off.

Once boss is dead - proceed with looting everything.
Then on the split - go through western path first for a dead end with loot.
Backtrack and go east for a short way out. Go all the way outside the dungeon.

That's one dungeon down - proceed to the second one in the desert area slightly SW of Tier Tower - Death Mesa
First you can rest up in town nearby if you need to.

This one is not a dungeon but a set of boss fights.

First opponent is the very first NPC - his weakness is status effects. You can defeat him with default party fastest since finn can do poison and you can use his paralyze ice dagger for paralyze.
Salome should cast fire 3 to apply burn.

Now swap to actual boss party, although early on you can only swap finn with abel and rush without healer.
This boss reflects magic, so with Salome just cast reflect magic yourself or guard or swap her.
Still super easy.

3rd boss - a guy with an axe.. axellent, it's a pretty simple one, no tricks.

4th boss - dancer. He starts with 2 weak minions, nothing special, really, just rush him down again. Probably easiest boss.

5th boss - a dragon. This one is probably one of the most annoying ones, I highly recommend healer here. This one can counterattack both melee and magic with high chance.
On salome I recommend using burst 1 - this one shouldn't kill her upon counterattack and does okay damage.
This one is all about not being too greedy and rushing. Instead patiently whittle him down.

Proceed to end up on the very top.
Gilgamesh is waiting for you here, save game before talking with him.
Honestly it's easier than previous boss. Dog can be burned, so spam flame 3 first.
Focus dog first. Once it dies - gilgamesh himself won't kill you alone through healing. He can dodge physical a bit, but noit too crazy.

The reward is your 3rd ribbon, which is nice if you ever plan to replace minerva plate with something else on Salome.
And Muramasa - a katana of massive power which massively cuts down on your HP/def
problem is... only abel can equip it, technically it does make him pretty strong for random encounters with genji glove BUT he is slow and it's not worth over finn(who is needed for more drops and is holder of money accessory) and Ratt/Victor/Salome
Either way - just win and fast travel down.

Now you have done absolutely everything aside of colosseum.
I still wouldn't recommend it for now, but it's up to you.

Time to go to Canaan now.
Proceed back to sword temple and enter it.

As you will notice it's entirely new world. But It's a relatively small one.
There is only one way forward - on foot. Your airship can only land on stone floor. If you explore a bit - there is one more patch of land with stone on it near castle, but you can't enter that place. So your only way forward is moving on.

Eventually after linear walking through you reach God's Grove - a town of Angels.
Shops sell very strong gear here - crystal weapons/armor and pretty powerful tier of accessory.
One of the houses has quest from a potionmaker which involves looting 3 ingredients in Lanzer realm, I will mention it later.
Inside the inn in the farthest shelve in west room is resist up.
Go sleep in the inn now.

You get a new ally - Lillith.. better late than never, eh?
She is pretty much a hybrid with weaker version of something from like 3 or 4 other classes you have.
There are 3 ways to build her - a holy element mage/support, which would mean taking sorcerer subclass for more matk/MP and ability to equip rods.
OR a lance/bow user.. as a bow user I would say she is weaker than Ratt.. and her main kit - Fly skills needs you to spend a turn to get the kit for 5 turns.. that being said flying is pretty good and makes her accuracy sky high. Spear is I would say best weapon for her, allowing to not only use otherwise unavailable weapon but it has fly skill which gives def/mdef down to enemy at same time, which is huge deal. Pair that with spear which can give frostbite and you can increase damage dealt of everyone else dramatically.
That being said for spear - her upgraded skill via aerial ace is useless.(40 RP vs 90 RP but main function - debuff is same)
Her last sub class allows you to revive.. honestly kinda meh, but if you want to make her full support(bad idea since you have alice) - you can do this.
So to summ it up - flying/using spear is her best main function BUT aerial ace is not worth it overall.
Use her however you wish - I won't use her at all.

Proceed north out of town, talk with western angel to move her out of the way - BUT BEFORE YOU GO OUTSIDE - GO WEST IN THE SMALL PATH.
This will allow you to reach a chest with lucky boost - final accessory for Finn, which stacks with his treasure hunting and double drop item rate.
Now Finn has 2 accessories for full support role - Lucky shoes and Profiteer Charm, nice for grinding, since usually Salome is the one doing most damage anyway.
Act 5 part 2
Wind element is overall the best one outside.
Proceed linearly on the world map until you reach the bridge.
The little split into the forest leads to Yggdrassil tree, nothing we can do there yet.

Your ultimate goal is Estelar Castle, an angel council castle located the furthest down the walkable path.
There is a lot to explore/NPCs to talk to before going on inside the council room.

On east side there is a storage room with 2 chests, 1 of the crates also has a Power Up.

On the west side out of notables is a library, if you speak with librarian on enough topics - she will give you an accessory to use lances with any character.. also a lot of lore is provided by her.

Aside of those there is plenty of chests to loot but nothing hidden.

Once you are done exploring/talking - go to northern part of main hall to enter Hall of Wisdom.

After a long set of cutscenes - you have to choose one of 3 trials.
Trial of courage is my choice since it's mostly scripted stuff great upgrades - you are automatically sent to another continent you can't otherwise reach.
It's linear and your goal is Soothsayer Temple.

After some very unique cutscenes it's time to face the fear of everyone.

All are pretty straightforward and essentially impossible to lose unless you do something stupid.
When something is noteworthy though - I will mention it here.

Each character will get some unique skill or stat boost as a result of this.

Remember the burned house I mentioned? Yep, that's why Ratt does not like it.

For Lucille play say the following and be careful not to skip text too fast and hit a wrong one by accident.
It would be an honor, Sir
It is my gift to you, Sir Arthur
Say nothing
My Lady! You have injured me!
You weren't even a challenege!

On Abel - you need to keep guarding, if you hit Galadin it's game over.

Borm is non scripted, but Salome will carry. Conflagration absolutely decimates it.

On lillith - feel free to escape all fights while progressing linearly.

A lot of allies as you can see got some fixed armor/weapons that you will need to change back, check your equipment!

Let me summarize what we earned:
Victor - perfect rage is top tier, makes you nigh immortal once you enter it.
Finn - ninja shroud makes him nigh immortal through near perfect evasion values. Kinda nice but we use him as encounterer.
Ratt - he got stats, which is nice since we just want him as random encounterer.
Alice: group raise - nice, but not super crazy.
Salome - strongest AoE, nice for grinding with MP cost reduce accessory and occasional tent use.
Abel - a huge MP cost purely magic attack nuke.. it's nice damage if you are using him but sadly mostly meh otherwise and he has more important stuff to do most of the time.
Lucille - unlocks her best dance which buffs all stats, problem is it requires 100 rage, so not something you can do early in battle but still amazing if you use her.. we don't.
Borm - stats and best versions of all his skills, great upgrade if you are using him.
Lillith gets nothing, solidifying her as meh character.

Go back to hall of wisdom now, trial completed!

I will continue with trial of wisdom. It requires you to visit Yggdrasil Tree
Go there and climb the tree.
Tree is a mini town, they also sell elixirs here should you require them for some reason.
Go talk with 3 fairies to progress main quest. You can also talk to fairy east of them for a small accessory shop.

Climb down the tree and proceed west into the forest which was previously blocked..
Follow linear path.. cutscenes happen.. who needs a book if you got a walkthrough anyway.

A hut ahead is your visit - it allows you to experiment on stuff.
Here is a list of all ingredients you can find in the forest and where:

Ingredients are usually interactable objects near dead end.
NE part - Moss, Bitter Herb, Red Flower, Long Nuts

NW part - Brown Mushrooms, White Flower, Strange Fruit, Clover, Cat Tails

NW part of the forest has Nixie you can interact with. Quite sure this is morale choice - I chose to walk away for good morale.
Blink gloves are an intersting accessory you find here as well, it gives -40% atk but allows you to attack 4 times, this is still often a power up for stronger random encounter attackers like Victor whom we feed most of our atk so he ends up having okay one even after penalty.

SW part - Strange Root, Round Nuts, Red Mushroom, Yellow Flower, Minty Herb

Once you got all those ingredients - go back to alchemist hut and you can test them.
I will underline those that give stat boost to team.

Clover - everyone gets luck
White Flower - revival
Yellow Flower - HP restore
Red Flower - I think this should be speed boost to team, but it gives nothing.
Strange Root - spicy/does nothing
Minty Herb - cures status ailments
Biter Herb - MP restore
Brown Mushroom - monochrome vision
Red Mushroom - red vision, this actually seems to neutralize monochrome vision and gives you back normal one, maybe a bug?
Cat Tails - everyone turns into a monster, monsters appear in the forest, you can talk with them. You can't leave the forest until you turn back to normal. I did not find anything special on monsters you can talk to though.
Moss - Magic Defense +20 to one of your choice, I recommend Victor
Round Nuts - everyone in party gets defense boost
Long Nuts - Abel throws up
Strange Fruit - a base solution for a potion.

You are free to try every ingredient, but you only need the underlined ones for stat boosts.
As for Elixir recipe - go back to 3 fairies in the tree, it is Yellow Flower, Bitter Herb and Strange Fruit(HP/MP restore + base solution to mix them)

That was some nice powerup overall and we get 5 elixirs as well. Go back to Hall of Wisdom now.

Next up - it's time for final trial - Trial of Strength.
Your goal is now Kronin Manor.

But before we go there - let us visit treasury. It's located in the east side of the castle, SE room, SE stairs down there. No hidden items here, only the treasure chests have stuff. It doesn't have anything as impressive as it was claimed to be, but free loot is free loot.

Remember how I told you can use airship to use one specific castle you can't enter yet a bit south of the initial entrance to Canaan world?
Yes, that's the one you need now, so back to the airship you go.

Just before you reach it - Lillith asks if you can go to earth first.
Yes, we can, in fact that's what I would tell you to do anyway since we are already near the portal.

You can show lillith places on Earth.
But we are going to it our way - while doing the ingredient sidequest(you didn't forget about it, right?)
First of all speak with master in the library for short dialogue with Lillith.

Once done - first flower you need is in lanzer forest just SE of the sword temple. Close, so go there first.
Go from the LANZER TEMPLE ENTRANCE, put airship there and land it.
Ratt might mention how he can kill gold nixie with aimed shot(something I told you long ago but we never really encounter gold nixies after that)

Once in the lanzer forest - start going mostly linearly with first short split going south.
On 2nd split you will see flower you need, just a matter of reaching it. For that start going west linearly until split. From this split go east to reach the Caucau Root.
Backtrack to airship now.

Now visit Colosseum for optional Lillith dialogue.

Next go to Alabaster town - more Lillith dialogue.
This town also has Detritus flower you need behind the inn. That's 2 out of 3 ingredients done.

Now Airship all the way to SW continent and visit Kuli first.
Tichomol Sprout is here nearby the pond on the east. That's our 3rd and final ingredient, yay!
Act 5 part 3
For more Lillith dialogues and some extra loot(visit Riddari castle at the very least) you can visit the following:
Fusilier castle - talk with king. This gives Fusilier Tiara - an accessory which allows anyone to equip rods.
Sand town - short dialogue
Doggo town - it's the town in secret area with dogs in the desert, a very short dialogue.
It's important to note doggo town always updates it's inventory selection as you find shops with new gear and they sell all that gear.
So currently you can buy all up to crystal tier gear and a lot of great accessories from all over.
There are a few exclusions to this rule in terms of accessories though.
Elnae - very short dialogue
Talik - short dialogue
Riddari - very short dialogue

Riddari castle - dialogue with King
The dialogue itself is not very important BUT what is important is another dialogue here.
Assuming you have good alignment - Alice will tell you about hidden room in the castle.

In the small top right corridor is a secret room by interacting with the wall.
There are 2 notable items here.
1st is gold hairpin - it's 50% mana cost cut for spells. I actually like it while grinding with Salome assuming I am strong enough to one shot or weaken groups enough without it to win instantly.
Very nice for Alice during boss fights as well.
The second one should be obvious - grey chest.
Assuming you made all good choices I told you - you can take it. It's an extremely good weapon for Victor, giving 10 RP per round and 5% HP regen, while having very close to diamond axe attack without accuracy penalty.
With build rage and other bonuses from accessories - you can reach 100 RP by 2nd round easily.

Nyannyaw is last place I found that has dialogue.
Before you leave - talk to the dwarven captain as well.
He gives you berserker headband, which allows anyone to equip axes and you can give him either angel ring or pendant. I would say ring is more meh, so give it.

I tried searching more but that's all I found.. I even did crazy stuff like climbing to the top of angel temple all over again and back which yielded nothing at all.
So I would say it's safe to say that's it.

One interesting thing I found is that south burned house under Alabaster has Ratt tell you he wants to leave this place and leaves instantly. That's the house that was burned :)

Either way - you are all done with world exploration.
Go back to Canaan now.

Now that you are back in Canaan - nothing left to do but take airship and go a bit south to the only other landing platform of this world.

Before you enter - you can notice a strange looking forest to the south.
If you try to approach it - Lillith will warn you that beasts there can wipe the floor with you.
It's somewhat true. Forest has chance for you to encounter a Behemoth King.. against one you actually might have a chance already.
But there are also rare encounters with two of them at same time.
Killing both one and two at same time are separate achievements.
But we will ignore those for now.

Let us go inside Kronin Manor instead.
In this dungeon Holy/Fire are best elements but a dragon enemy is resistant to fire/weak to ice.
One annoying enemy to look out for is portrait - this one has very high counterattack chance for physical. It's best to 2x flame 3 to kill them while just guarding with other stuff. If you burn both - you can do flame 2 and still kill them.

This one might be a bit confusing to navigate due to how tiles look weird.
Overall you got no choice where to go and it's linear despite how it might initially look.
On 2nd map there is a split for treasure up north.
3rd map is linear.
A note on void weapons - those give IMMENSE atk stat, but have 30% chance to miss the attack. I would say not worth overall since I would prefer reliability instead.

4th map has finn secret treasure - it's on the other side near the exit to next map on the lonely tile.
5th map is technically 1st one in the area you couldn't access.

6th map is linear.

7th map is weird, it's a start of very gimmicky mirror/merged map, you will see what I mean.. go until split.. take southern for chest.
Go into northern path now, that's all the map has, so proceed to next one.

8th map is not any less weird. Proceed linearly until split.
South is the way to go for loot. Then go north.

It might seem like you teleported to old map but proceed forward and you will reach a map that finally makes some sense.
Grab chests in the bottom corners and proceed.
Do not forget the chest in corridor to the south before you go to next map. This one has merlins cap - an extremely powerful mage hat, which multiplies your magic atk value by 150%.
It has almost no def value, but it's totally worth(def stats are easy to get via accessories if you really feel the need)
Or if you read the strategy section - you probably did how I suggested and used all def up food into her, bringing her to reasonable defenses.

Once ready - proceed to next map.
The 2 small rooms have some treasure. There is another pair of blink gloves and a demon scroll accessory, which allows to wield katanas on anyone.

Save game before you proceed north and swap to boss party.
You will be fighting Aganor
He is weak to dark and resistant to holy. Also he has very strong melee hits and might wipe you if he does it early. Helps to buff up defence with healer if you get the chance. Haste2 into Slow on Abel as usual. On Salome I prefer buffing up into thunder or burst 2 spam when she can't hit any element advantage. Victor does build rage into perfect rage.

The important part here is what happens after this boss - another boss fight instantly starts against Nameless Void.
He is weak to holy.
You do NOT get revived/restored so you continue in same state as you were, which is main difficulty.. so you kinda need to prepare to be in good state. On a positive note - Victor's rage stays.
He is very strong too - removes buffs, does instant death and other annoyances.
A buffed up Salome can deal some good burst with conflagration ~17k damage per, nice if she can double cast. Victor can deal even more with great rage and crit luck.

If you manage to beat both - Einlanzer keeps growing stronger. I still prefer excalibur on Victor, but i's not debatable best weapon for Abel.

You get teleported out. Take airship to the northern ground and start moving all the way back to Hall of Wisdom.
On your way don't forget to stop in the 1st town to turn in the sidequest though.
Reward is 'bolster all' potions available in shop. Those are actually totally viable to do some harder fights, pump those on at start of combat on each character and you will be much sturdier and stronger.
Pretty expensive though, so not something I would recommend to do often.
With sidequest turned in - go all the way back to Hall of Wisdom.

BEFORE YOU REPORT IN - SAVE THE GAME!

It's your final trial so a very long set of cutscenes commence.
You get a massive stat boost, 4 new skills which are super effective against Yvalak and his minions.

An important decision happens - you either make Lillith fallen or keep her as is.

If you keep her as is - she will become councilwoman.

If you make her fallen - she will continue on with you and gain new powers.
Her new classes are:
Aerial Ace - same as it was.
Corruptor - inflict random debuffs with attacks. IMO this is top tier, she lacked a class that did at least something to make her a good lance user and that's IMO it, adds further utility to using spear.
Succubus - adds some Abel dark magic and Slow/2

Both paths are an achievement. You can technically reload for it but if you are serious about getting all achievements - you need to play twice for at least the negative karma... you technically get negative karma achieve not super far into the game, BUT there is some extra content for evil route as well in world we are about to visit - Abyss.

So yeah, 2 nearly full plays are required to see it all.
Act 5 part 4
I personally decided to keep her as is during the 'good' playthrough. Even though no one is taking away excalibur from you, since you already have it, but it kinda feels 'right'.
It's also kinda changes dialogues a bit in some ways, which makes for a better experience if you do 2 playthroughs.

Not like we are going to use her anyway. But what you do is up to you.

Either way - a boss fight starts.
Boss is weak to holy.
This is not a hard fight at all, more of a tutorial to explain that you now have anti Yvalak ascension skills. Those will likely do ~25k damage on buffed up Abel and Victor for 60 rage.
This is mostly nice for Abel, for whom this is a big improvement, since his buff gives him massive atk% improvement rather easily(can even do pre battle in most cases)
For Victor it's smaller improvement, but still very nice as he can spam it every turn.

Nothing left to do in Canaan now.. well, you can technically try 2 behemoth kill, but I wouldn't bother just yet.
It should be possible with some luck though.

Backtrack all the way to teleport into main world.
Inside the temple you can talk with NPCs for some new chats, even the girl who asked your opinion about joining swordbearers.

Eventually talk to the master. You now need to make an abyss amulet.
My levels are 73-75 right now, I did not grind, but I had to move around a lot to make walkthrough, I think it would still be reasonable to assume you are at least lvl ~68-70.

I would say this is reasonable time to try colosseum wave 10 and duo colosseum tier 2 fight.
Go into colosseum and start the group fight first.
It's faster to rush with random encounter party for fist 9 fights
Salome is MVP at taking stuff down fast without preparation. Waves 6-8 are best with conflagration, the others are best with her ultimate spell, with mana cost reduction you shouldn't have her mana end at all.
Wave 10 is weak to dark if it matters for you. The important part is surviving. It shouldn't be a problem by now I would say, this should be doable at lvl ~65 even without the ascension.

The reward from chest is infinity sword.. jeez, how many amazing swords does this game even give you...
Infinity sword is kinda competing with excalibur sword for usefulness on Victor. 25% crit is pretty huge, more than even one slot of accessory can give you.
If you feel like the 10 RP from excalibur is not required to reach 100 rage turn 2 with build rage, then you should be fine. Also you want at least 60 rage per turn for spamming ascended strike.
This is a nice sword to get on evil route, since you get it's special weapon in abyss only.

Another reward is a Golem character who joins your party with level 50.
He has extremely low stats but he learns almost all skills of every character. Most weaker stuff only that is.
You can either specialize him with stronger physical skills, stronger magical skills or all stats +10%, which still leaves him at super low stats..
Yeah, that sucks. Worst character by far since not like you can do many things at once, you only have one action per turn(Abel and Finn beg to disagree, but you get what I mean) and it needs to count.

Duo normal difficulty is again pretty annoying.
It's not hard.. but annoying.
In particular the wave 2 - it has 5 minions which reflect magic with 100% chance, dodge with ~80-90% chance and have only 1 hit worth of HP.
One way you can beat it is by counterattacks, another is brute forcing until you hit them.
I recommend Victor + Salome combo overall. She wipes everything aside of wave 2 with her ultimate spell in 2 turns..
Wave 2 is literally just casting perfect rage and then slowly cleaving stuff until only a few remain.
Last wave golem is weak to thunder, that being said element advantage damage vs ultimate spell neutral damage is very close.

Your prize is dragon helm - the biggest def helmet which improves guarding dmg reduction from 50% to 75%.
I recommend it on Abel with following setup:
Einlanzer, Tower Shield of best quality you have, Dragon Helm, Runic Plate mail, True Knight belt, Blessed Ribbon
This combination makes him reach insane tankiness(739 def/379 mdef) while attracting a lot of single target stuff on him, which is nice, since he is bulkiest. Pretty much every physical hit he attracts that could potentially be a huge danger to others(aside of perfect rage victor) is often a tickle to him.

I would say it's too early to try the final duo colosseum challenge yet.
Although it somewhat IS possible with Victor/Abel combo - Abel casting haste 2/quick on Victor/slow then defending... Victor casting build rage into Great Rage into Perfect Rage.
Very low chance currently though. I managed to reach wave 4 a few times but it just never went my way and I gave up, hence not really recommended. Certainly don't even bother on hard.

Another important note about colosseum you might notice is Gilgamesh being near main desk in the corner. He is selling stat boosts for 50k gold per 1.
This is how you determine 'worth' of 1 stat when deciding equipment:
1 atk/matk/speed= 2 def/mdef = 10 HP
There is exclusion to this rule though - items like merlin cap on Salome are prime example, since it amplifies your matk by 50%, hence every +3 matk is in fact +4.5
Luck is kinda useless to aim at.. it's only neat to bump victor into lowering his chance of getting disabled turn 1 when he is still not in perfect rage
Speed is arguable stat that's only needed on salome for grind.. with enough speed food you can first replace her hermes boots with +100 agi and +10% evasion and then maybe even replace them entirely with a normal accessory slot, like def/mdef one, saving you on bumping her survival quite a lot. But I would honestly not bother with her speed and just stick to hermes.

Overall you might think that best way to spend gold is on atk/matk, but I say no - damage does not really matter much. You only need enough on Salome to bring down a decently strong group instantly with her ultimate spell for fast grind. Which is something you reach passively.
Instead what you need is bringing survival up, meaning Alice/Salome keeping up with HP of geared Abel.
The logic is that if you can't die - you will eventually win. And that eventually is honestly pretty fast since Victor and Salome make quick job of anyone and a little boost to their damage stats won't change it by much.

Long story short invest in either HP or matk(if you feel like you need it for grinding better)

Time to move on with main story - getting Abyss Amulet pieces from golden statues.

First one is nearby in Alabaster mountains. There are 2 entrances and the statue is approx... in the middle, so it doesn't really matter from where you enter.
I entered from entrance directly west of Alabaster. Get it and backtrack to airship.

2nd statue is in Riddari mountains.
Go from the Sea Breeze side - reason for that is Finn will spot 1 treasure along the way, which is speed up, nice!
Basically finn joined us later so some early stuff might have hidden stuff, I don't care enough to check every early location with him though, it's better to just grind gold.
Reach statue, get 2nd amulet piece and backtrack.

Victor recommends going back to Sea Breeze.. if you forgot - there was this arrogant fish dude in the inn there.
Get ready for an epic fight... which lasts 1 round.
With amulet completed - back to Swordbearer Temple we go.
Act 6
Finally the final act!

You can now enter the abyss, it's not a one way trip - you can always return.
Head into the Abyss!
This is where evil route people will get some extra bonuses from NPCs.. good ones will mostly get nothing.

Best element here is Holy.
Don't forget ascended attacks always hit weakness here, nice for mini bosses.

Item drop rate starts showing it's profit here - some monsters even drop the stat foods here!

You can't rest anywhere nearby, so I recommend stocking up on tents in Nynnyaw discount shop if you lack them, if you got enough - there will be a better way to stock on a lot afterwards, so don't buy too many.

The initial lobby consists of a merchant, 6 opened paths and 1 closed path.
To get through closed path you need to complete 6 opened ones.
Merchant sells diamond gear, which is best non unique gear in the game.
Also some accessories, which you probably already have seen.

Let us go clockwise starting with ~ NE path.
Go linearly until split.
Then go south > west for a chest
Go east now until split. Take south split. You reach another split, go south for treasure.
Then proceed further down the other path until another split.
Go south for another split, both of which are treasure.
Now head back and head north for a very long linear path until treasure chest with Gold Hairpin.
This is first time you get it if you are evil, which improves your Salome grind potential a lot.
If you are good - now both Alice and Salome can have it equipped at same time.
Although I prefer def/mdef on both during bossing.

That's all paths taken on south route from the entrance split.
So back to the entrance split and go north from there.

On the very first split go west for quick loot then proceed.
3 way split now. South is treasure. Northernmost one is also treasure.
Proceed through middle afterwards. You reach final split where south is treasure.
Boss party and touch orb. This is 2 bosses in fact, hence best use the ultimate salome spell.
Overall the strategy in abyss is approximately:
Ascended protection on Victor if possible, if not - build rage.
Alice heals in advance.
Abel haste 2 into slow(or slow 2 if multi boss) - he should come prepared with holy element pre battle. Afterwards he can quick Salome/Victor.
Salome guards turn 1 into a self buff(+ nuke if possible) - using either conflag or ultimate spell.

Grab the key item and backtrack to main room.
Continuing clockwise - Middle East path.

Deep ones here seem to have insane speed value or outright cast first and they cast reflect very often. If it's one of them and other enemies - still cast ultimate spell and die, can revive her after battle. They have low HP so physical damagers will deal with them.
This location is mostly linear but take obvious backtrack chests.
One of them is 'robe of immortals', which is a nice armor for mages. I use it on Alice, since 1% mana is neat, but not enough to be viable as main means of mana regen for Salome.(who would need to equip ribbon to resist conditions and she can't afford an accessory slot since she needs boots + MP cost reduction)
This makes Alice immune to absolutely everything.

On 2nd map there are 5 stairs, I will name them 1-5
1 has treasure.
2nd has treasure - shield of warding, which is top tier shield for Alice.
4th is a mimic
5th is treasure
3rd is main path to boss.
Prepare for boss as usual and kill him.

Backtrack to main room and enter SE path now.
This one is a bit too confusing to explain and easy to see yourself.
I will just tell that on first map - north path of first split is way to main entrance and going below bridge is where absolutely ALL treasure is.
Did not find any use for chestplate of valor, too bad stats, despite +15 RP every turn I prefer ninja garb on victor. The luck/agi drop is just not worth it, even if you swap excalibur into infinity.. if you are using infinity though - it might be worth consideration.

Go to map 2 through northern path now. Map 2 is fully linear and you run in a spiral to reach boss.
This map is nearly entirely empty but there is finn secret loot - once finn tells it proceed ahead and you will see a 'lonely pillar' - check it from east side.
Slime near boss warns you that the boss is very defensive.. luckily Salome can counter that with defense ignoring blasts.
Victor will just power through once he is raged.

Once boss is dead - backtrack to main room, we are now halfway done.
Let us take SW path
1st map is very linear with very short extra paths to chests, so I won't describe it. One of chests is mimic.
One chest has mega elixir - there are very few of them in the game and you need at least 1 for hardest colosseum entry, so be careful!
Diamond kama in one of the chests too - Finn with honed edge and diamond kama crits extremely often.

2nd map is already boss stage, it's a very small map too
This map has a path south into a secret slime map.
And a KING SLIME guarding it. It's a pretty easy boss fight, surround slimes will go down in one AoE and the king slime has huge HP but can't really damage more than half your HP per turn, so healing up is easy.
Gives pretty good exp/ gold for how easy it is. You are now officially king of slimes too!
The armor is meh.
This place is not a bad grind spot, especially for kill count achieve. The exp/gold per fight is not super good, but encounter rate is crazy and they all die in one nuclear 1 nuke, which you can cast a lot of times before requiring mana recharge.

Back to boss map - it might seem like there are paths leading somewhere - but this area has no more secrets.
Prepare a boss party and engage boss.
Boss has loads of tentacles a main boss unit. Getting rid of all tentacles makes boss stronger, but it's overall weak boss. There is 1 tentacle which is sturdier than the rest and will likely survive 3 AoE with salome so you can technically keep that tentacle alive while pounding on boss.
He might also waste a turn on reviving tentacles though. Super easy overall.

Go back to main map and this time we take Middle West path
This one is also not the worst grind spot - you can interact with anyone for automatic fight start which gives okay'ish exp/gold and can be killed with one ultimate spell AoE.
1st area is linear, only 1 chest along the way.
2nd one has a small split with treasure to the south. A mimic along the way, then one more split south for treasure.
On 3rd map NE corner is a top tier Beowul Crown headgear for Victor. It has extremely low defense, but it's best stat value he can get. You can always buy a few def foods to compensate def loss if you really want to.

This is the area with boss already - prepare, save, the usual stuff. Boss weak to holy, nothing special by now, kill and move on.

5 out of 6 paths done, time to head down the final NW path!

This one is one area only... take 1st split south for treasure.
On second split take southern path for a treasure and finn secret, which is east of hole in the ground facing up.
Final split of the area - go west for a Merlins rod. This one is sadly barely any better than diamond staff in total staff value but still neat enough as it's more offensive, which helps more.
Lamia here tells you about how this dungeon works.. welp, would be helpful, but how can a player guess which of the 6 areas is supposed to be a tutorial one, lol.

As she mentioned though - boss is weak to thunder, not like it matters much, make boss party and annihilate it.
This is arguably one of weakest boss with no tricks except damage you can just heal up.

With 6 seals in hand - return to main room and finally open the final South path.
Another area with souls.
There is a 'vile' weapon shopkeeper, but he will only talk with you if you are evil, otherwise he leaves.
Act 6 part 2
On next map is already a boss fight with Maltis - save near the entrance and prepare boss team.
You will be fighting our usual mage. He is pretty squishy and his offensive kit consists of solely magic, so if you cast magic defense with Abel you should be invincible with regular healing from Alice.
Maltis is not vulnerable to ascended attacks.

Once boss fight is done - Baiz joins you.

Baiz is lvl 99 and might seem strong.. in fact he even acts twice each turn.. BUT he can't be controlled, so I don't recommend him as he often does stupid things. He is a nice damage sponge but honestly you don't need another one.

Baiz leaves you after the boss fight. There is still some treasure you can grab along an extremely long linear path.

First split with treasure has a warding accessory, if you equip it on anyone, even inactive character - you will lower the encounter rate by half.
Nice if you need to do something in older locations or just tired of encounters.

No need to delay the fight, so proceed until end of location.
Before you enter 2nd location - Save the game as it automatically starts scenes + boss fight with Yvalak.
Out of recommendations - angel pendant accessory might be okay to insert on everyone aside of Alice for instant death immunity. Alice resists it via armor.
But you can honestly just revive everyone with Alice too, just trivializes it.

1st fight is very easy - just do usual things and boss will die fast. You are fully healed up/mana restored in between.

After which the 2nd part of fight starts.
This forms main danger is instant death attacks. In terms of survival just usual healing up with alice + haste/slow/quick with abel works.
Salome starts by guarding into buffing her damage into potential triple casts of 20-30k damage, which pretty much decimates the extra mobs.

Cheerful cutscenes happen... but you didn't think it's really the end, right?

You lost einlanzer now, so equip Abel with defender to pump his def values with that instead. It's not a big loss in terms of bulkiness and his damage rarely matters anyway.

Time to walk aaaaaaaall the way back out of Abyss.
Feel free to talk with everyone in the temple, but no one has much to say.

Maltis is in Riddari according to Shen.
Fly there and Save the game before entering town.

Boss fight against God Maltis.. He is weak to Ascended attacks.
Nothing too special, pretty usual Maltis fight that is only slightly stronger than his usual fights.

You get pretty decent knuckle if you are using Borm, nice when paired with Nunchaku and/or Blink gloves when attacking enemy.

Feel free to chat in town afterward - some noteworthy stuff:
More of a trivia - grandmothers house who gave mini side quest near start of game is now for sale.. it's the one who was waiting for her brainwashed son.
I honestly almost forgot about this one until now.

The farmer on the NE of town gives you life up.

The actually important information - one NPC tells you that ore cave near Sea Breeze has a new section with very strong monsters.

Let us check it out - go to the Ore Cave under Sea Breeze town
NPC warns you to enter the new ore shaft deeper in the mine if we seek death, hence no real choice but to check it out, right?
Equip crystal of warding on someone for less annoyance until you actually reach it. I like to equip golem with it, at least that's one use for him, lol.

The cave is mostly linear, go until you see a split with NPC near it.
North is the path you want to take.

Another NPC warns you about dangers that lie ahead... and treasure.. so yeah, time to go inside.
Feel free to unequip warding from golem if you want to fight stuff more often.

Inside the initial area - there is an NPC who offers 2k gold per Yettin head, one of random encounter opponents further in.
The very first map is nice to grind in - it has big number of small enemies mostly, hence nice exp/gold in one AoE of Salome.

Do not conserve tents here - you will soon be able to buy them at 1k coins per, which is extremely cheap. Save yourself time and just spam big with Salome.

An enemy of note is Karbunkel - those dog have insane evasion and magic evasion AND instant death casts.. better just run away.
The way to actually win them if you really care - magic reflect on Salome, this will pretty much cast the reflect back.. there is a risk if your salome gets killed first turn.. Victor magic reflects with 40% chance via mirror shield.
Their magic dodge chance is not 100%

Rock golems can enter counterattack stance which reduces any damage taken by 50% and gives them extreme counterattack odds.
Olephant enemy has extremely high HP.

Keep progressing - the enemies you see on map are 'mini bosses' - they are actually bosses you already fought from start of game but with inflated stats and some new skills. They are strong, but they don't have HP pool of an actual boss.
They are not really worthy of much mention, so I will just quickly summarize a few key stuff about them.

Progression is linear so far.

Enemies are not Yvalak by the way, hence not weak to ascension.

Chimera prime - use mag def ignoring stuff on Salome, he is magical attacker.

Orc king - physical atker, can be burned, use conflag on Salome

Random encounter mini boss - Crimson Knight is weak to fire.

Some doors you see are actually monsters and have treasure behind them.
The door monsters have pretty big HP so don't take them too carefree.
Conflag has chance of inflicting confuse on it, which disrupts it's action if it works.

One of the doors has a gold hairpin, which is 2nd hairpin for evil route people. For good route it does not add much.

Yetin enemies are something you might encounter now. Those die to 2x ultimate casts of Salome, but have chance to take her down before 2nd turn if they target her.

Behind one of the doors is Bard hat - it's worth on Alice, a bit lower stats than diamond crown, but 10% evasion/magic evasion are worth it.

One of the doors leads into nothing. I actually checked all walls there so it really is just an empty room I think.

3rd mini boss - Steel Golem prime is vulnerable to paralysis, so with some chance ice 3 from Salome can fully disable it.
His physical def is huge, so don't expect to deal much unless it's a big hit.

4th mini boss - a baiz fight counterpart.
Main boss is extremely resistant to physical attacks.. Salome carries this fight for you.
I would take this one seriously already, as things start getting hard, so swap to boss party for sure.

After the boss - grab the chests nearby and you see a split.
On first split head east for more chests.
Head back and go south until 2nd split.

Head southeast. The NPC here is the one that sells tents for 1k. Also some other stuff that is not really worth aside of maybe revival potion.
Nearby is demon door with more loot. Don't bother going east yet as it's dead end for now.

Proceed back and south from the split - Lamia prime.
She is weak to thunder and her main danger is turning stuff to stone, so not much if have ribbons.

Next mini boss is Husk Queen Prime
This one gives permanent HP degen, so certainly swap to boss party. Not dangerous otherwise.
Weak to thunder and ascend skills.

Chest nearby gives diamond defender - just what we need, honestly even better than einlanzer for survival of Abel.
He now has nearly 900 def and 505 MDEF without food for me.

Keep going until split. Go east and then south on another split..
Demon door, keep going.

Earth Dragon Prime
Weak to ice, nothing special

Flesh Golem Prime
Weak to ascended attacks.. pretty huge HP but mostly harmless. It is kind of fun if you can reflect back his stat debuffs, which allowed me to hit him for over 100k with Victor.

Coza True Form Prime
Weak to thunder and ascended strike, can cause burn, so might want to take a healer.

You reach your first button, you need to press 4 in total to open up path further.
Act 6 part 3
Go all the way back to previous split now.

The mini path north has time slip cloak, not too worth.

Go back until the other split and go north again.

Head west first on the other split. 2 buttons out of 4 done.

This time head east on the split towards Sea Dragon Prime mini boss.
This one is weak to thunder and ascended attacks
This one is mostly straightforward damager with occasional huge damage wave... in case of ♥♥♥♥ victor should be able to solo if you maintain perfect rage.

2nd diamond kama is here. I would say it's worth swapping out honed knife as it's only 10% crit chance loss in favor of huge atk boost.

3rd button out of 4 done.

Backtrack all the way to tent selling NPC now and go east.

First stairs north are final fourth button.

With four button done - head further south and drop down into the hole.

To the east is a 'weakling's exit'
If you use it - you end up near the entrance, going through the hole there, but you can't return back here from the entrance...

So let us continue on.

Mini boss time - Aganor Prime.
I would start using serious parties about here on those, starts being a bit too risky treating those as simple mini bosses.
With some bad luck you might even lose... most losses are pretty much if Alice dies too fast and situation starts getting out of control.. but victor can still almost solo this.

Chest here has Ninja scroll, allowing to dual wield, kinda ironic, but the best one who can use this is actually Salome, since it allows her to use an extra weapon slot that's otherwise empty.
It's in fact certainly worth on boss fights, making salome a true ninja of the battlefield, annihilting the foes with even more oomph.

Next 3 chests are:
Blink cape - allows you to act twice at the cost of half stats. This one is nice if you are using dancer as support. Since with her your survival is based on evasions and revivals the stats barely matter(losing agi sucks though, but she would be getting all speed food anyway)

Avalice necklace turns attacks into ascension element.. nice, but victor can spam ascension strike as is and we have no more melee. Can throw it on Ratt instead of Grand focus if you are in some yvalak dungeon.. but yeah... meh.

Destruction spellbook - gives conflag spell to anyone.. kinda meh. Salome is all you ever need and she has it.

Grich-Morgot Prime
Weak to ascended/holy, nothing too special.

Next boss is in fact the final one - Saul Rious.
This one is RNG how it goes...
He is extremely strong... but he can do almost nothing as well.. his turn amount and what he uses is very random.
You are pretty much praying that boss doesn't kill you turn 1 and hoping on good haste procs so you can start buffing up def/mdef with alice and abel.

Eventually you can solidify your defences further with Alice via avalice embrace(with extra turns defend to gain rage and survive)

Once you have survived those 2 turns - you will likely win. But you will certainly have to use 1 mega elixir to restore mana once Abel is nearing his mana end.

Ironically boss will drop you the mega elixir back XD

The rewards are nice though:
Fourth Ribbon.. kinda meh honestly, you shouldn't ever need 4 of them.
And 3 unique accessories:
Yvalak, Lanzer and Avalice ones.

Lanzer is a straightforward upgrade +20% each stat. I like to use it on victor during random encounters paired with genji gloves. And on boss fights I use it with Grand Strength Belt.

Yvalak is doubling attack value but lowering all other stats by half and HP/MP by 25%.
The way I decided to abuse it is via Ratt on random encounters - Ratt's main weakness is that he wields bows, which dev seemingly forgot about as they get no good 'final weapon' at all. This means by equipping falcon bow - you don't lose much from the otherwise best diamond bow.
What falcon bow does is gives him fixed +150 speed on normal attacks.
Since your stats are already pitiful - you are kinda relying on 1 turn win.
I also give him masterwork ninja garb to boost his crit rate further.

Avalice is same but with magic attack..
Salome comes to mind. It is possible to make it work. Basically the way you use it is like this:
Equip black dress instead of minerva and equip avalice instead of gold hairpin.
With hermes boots you should still have ~450 agi with only 'free' speed food you found throughout game.
This brings her to 1.5k matk and allows her to wipe majority of groups. This does need you to use tents more often, so learn with which spells you can wipe which groups.
What is not dead is likely finished by victor/ratt basic attacks.

But yeah, you don't NEED to use them, those are just ways to do so.

You should be either level 99 or close to 99 by now.
If you leave this screen and come back - Saul will revive and you can refight him. You can grind his normal form for HP/MP boosters this way or try the 'prime' version for no extra reward.

But defeating his prime form is not required for anything, gives no special reward and is simply there for challenge.. and well, it's not exactly hard, just requires you to grind more HP food to survive the first few rounds and proceed the battle same way you used to but with Saul being even stronger and having more turns.

Use rope to end up near ore mine entrance - convenient, you don't need to backtrack at all.

Let us wrap up with optionals now:
Colosseum first, go do the duo colosseum extreme mode.
For gear use the new Lanzer boss accessory combo on Victor.
Cast build rage > great rage and go ham on the enemy.
Able does quick on victor > slow > haste 2
For wave 2 you want perfect rage instead since otherwise there are some conditions. If something has vanish - don't hit it until it falls off.
Since you have no genji gloves - use whichever RP skill you can instead of basic atk, even 10 RP one is fine.
Victor is essentially invulnerable in rage in those fights, so should be easy.
When you get multiple turns - there is a trick with using berserk, since you assign commands at start of turn..
So let's say you are already in great rage and next turn you have 2 or 3 turns.
Cast berserk as first turn and a skill of your choice as 2nd(and 3rd) and you will likely kill whatever you are attacking.

The reward is Smite - the best weapon Alice, but it's honestly not a big improvement over Crystal Bludgeon.. 25% magic cost reduction is nice, but stats are nearly same - more matk, a bit less defensive.

Prize for repeat of the fight is:
2x eye of beholder, 1x life up, 1x mana up, 1x power up, 1x mana up
This is probably a bit faster than grinding.
Eye of the beholder is consumable item which does 2 random target attacks for okay'ish damage.

To the temple now.
Let's head to Canaan for King Behemoth hunt.
If you forgot - there are 2 achievements for them, defeating one and defeating 2 together.
It's in southern landing platform forest.
They are still a very serious fight you shouldn't underestimate.
At least an encounter with 2 of them. You can even lose if you get unlucky and they heavily target alice. Although perfect victor can probably solo slowly.
They are fully physical attack, so countered heavily once alice starts casting def up or hitting slow on them and causing them to miss.

With 2 achievements in hand - you have done all optional stuff there is in the game.
You can hand the behemoth trophies to a collector in Elnae for 5k gold each... not impressive for sure.

To proceed with main quest - head to Sand town.
Boss fight starts with God Maltis.. again..
Now that you have cleared all optional stuff, the boss will be a pushover in comparison, so I won't even bother giving advice much.
All his fights have element weakness based on his form.

The citizens here have gratitude, but nothing else.

Next goal - Dryden town
God Maltis boss fight, you know the drill.
You get a decent axe, nothing worth using.
Citizens only have gratitude again.

Time for Canaan
He is in the first town - God's Grove.
Act 6 part 4
The angels have nothing to give you, so proceed to Nynnyaw for another fight with Maltis.
This one has chance to do something against you, albeit very low one, so save just in case.

You get nothing in Nynnyaw.. but at least Shen's plan works, time to go to Swordbearer Temple.

SAVE THE GAME BEFORE YOU ENTER!

It's finally time for final battle!

This one also has chance to wipe you, albeit extremely low one.
He has 3 forms,
2nd is resistant to fire, weak to ice...
3rd is somewhat strong, but since you had time to prepare you are probably buffed up to the limit and will just wipe him instantly.

Once you are done wiping the floor with Maltis for the last time - you can now walk around in the temple and discuss what to do...

If you ask me - the thoughts of most are pretty naive, since removing magic does not really remove monsters from the world... and unless we count victor - no one else can fight solo without some form of healing, which is magic... mega elixirs are very limited and no other potions will help much when facing stronger stuff.

So yeah, an arguably 'good' choice is IMO keeping gods alive...
Especially so once you see 'solution' to the Maltis problem.
In this route you will fight Maltis once more, this time with an invincible Victor though.
It also makes more sense 'long term' as you will see.

Arguably 'evil' is killing them.

The important thing is - choice you make decides achievement you get. You can technically reload before battle, win again and make the other choice to get both if you really want to.

Condemned to fight achieve for letting god lives.
Death for peace achieve for killing the gods.

That's it, game completed.

Here is what my end result on normal mode good route was:
1) I did not grind at all, only did all the optionals I wrote in walkthrough. All doable just fine on normal mode with no grinding at all.
Hard mode will 100% require A LOT of grind.
2) Levels 99 on everyone aside of golem, 3.9m gold(never spent aside of tents, since I wanted to see how doable everything is without stat boost purchases).. I would say nothing aside of Saul gave much of a challenge.. saul needed a bit luck to survive first 2 rounds.
That's 780 HP, which is honestly not too much of a difference, but it would help a bit. As you can see stat grinding via food is a VERY long quest.
I would say even though doing walkthrough made me spend more time in the game - I still overkilled the levels by a bit.. so even if you are not 99 near the end - you will be extremely close if you do everything.
3) A little under 3k enemy kills - you will likely be at 2.25-2.5k kills I assume, as I had to do a lot of useless stuff for the sake of walkthrough
I overall avoided escaping enemies unless they were in some older locations or during some specific points in the story when you are gimped.
Achievement Hunting
For those who are here for achievements - you need at least 2 playthroughs for it, one being on hard difficulty.

One of them does not need to be full if you don't want to.
You can save/load all 'choice' one, so the only achievement that can't be gotten in 1 playthrough is honorable/dishonorable ones.

Hence there are 2 ways to get all achievements:
1) Quick way - I recommend doing 'honorable decisions' route on hard, doing absolutely everything in the game and reloading all 'choices' achievement.
Then making a quick easy playthrough while doing some dishonorable choices.. you should get it by act 4 or so, which is relatively early.

2) Seeing everything way - doing 2 full playthroughs with opposite choices in each.
One focusing on 'honorable' choices and one focusing on 'dishonorable' ones...
One of those needs to be on hard, likely one you will be grinding hard on for the 5k kills acheive.

With that out of the way, here are achievements that are 'noteworthy', meaning you can miss them and such:
1) Honorable(2 achieves) and Dishonorable(1 achieve) - those are the main reason you can't do everything in 1 playthrough at all. And in fact you can actually screw them up entirely if you do 'hybrid choices'... you need to be pretty one sided to end up with those.
I mention what I think are morale choices during my walkthrough, it's guiding you via good route, but doing opposite would 100% give you dishonorable as well.

2) Poe quests - those are entirely missable. They are all in the walkthrough though, but you have to do them around the time they happen without progressing too much.

3) The harder they fall - slaying simple behemoth in Strahl keep, it's a mini boss random encounter. This is missable since you can't revisit that location.

4) Just Farewell/Fallen - first 'choice' achievement, you choose it during act 5 - either keep angel as party member or not.
This one you can save/load to get both.

5) Condemned to Fight/Death For Peace - a choice after final boss that you have seen in new game start.
Can save/load to get both, would have to reload, beat boss again and get through a lot of cutscenes.

6) Beating game on hard - this is grindy.. and a bit hard.

7) 5k kills - this one is grindy. Normal mode playthrough while doing walkthrough gave me a little under 3k, that's with doing absolutely everything in the game + a bit needless walking.
I mentioned this one simply because it has to be in one game and you will have to go out of your way to get it.
There is a good place to get it relatively fast though. The secret slime room in abyss has an incredible encounter rate and always has 6+ enemies at same time and die to any fast animation low mana cost AoE from Salome.

Party strategy reasons and setups for end game
While I usually make advice throughout guide in small bits, I decided to make it separately here as well to get.

First of all I will explain why exactly I chose the team I chose:

Victor - he is pretty much a powerhouse as both random encounterer with his good stats and as boss fighter with his rage abilities... he takes a bit to get going, but once he starts going, he can even solo most bosses.
He also makes perfect stat food combination with salome.
You are giving him all ATK, MDEF, LUCK, while Salome gets the rest.

Sub class decision: RP generation because well.. you never know when 5 RP might allow you to get an extra skill in.

Finn as random encounterer - he has a drop rate boost, simple as that.. he also makes a very good damage dealer in those. Kama is extremely strong weapon giving huge crit % chance.
And he is the one carrying the accessories that further boost gold gain/drop rate without harming him much.
Sub class decision: item hunter is honestly almost best option even combat wise and it comes with item drop rate, while item drops are mostly not too important in this game, it's still nice.

Ratt as random encounterer - he is pretty strong, his wind bow you get in a relatively early optional carries nearly whole act 5 with advantage against a lot of enemies in that period of time.
Sub class decision: he is random encounterer, hence 15% extra cit forever is nice.

Salome as both boss/random encounterer - honestly she is even more MVP than Victor.
As you feed her DEF/HP/MATK/SPEED she will eventually always be first with boots accessory and be strong enough to wipe the whole enemy group with only 1 cast of her AoE, making for MUCH less tedious grinding.
Sub class decision: this is actually the hardest decision of all.. I would say it's even still debatable between blink warlock and more damage. I think I am a bit towards survival more myself. But both are very viable.

Alice as boss fighter - you need some form of heal, she is best one. She pairs extremely good with abel too... early on she can do def buff for RP, while Abel can do MDEF...
Later on for 80 RP she can cast double def double mdef down in one spell cast... this is pretty much putting you into immortality tier against anything once you reach that.
Sub class decision: More survival is a very easy decision here.

Abel as support choice.
Main support choice is between dancer and Abel.. with dancer you have to think too much and adapt to situation.
With Abel you don't think - you just make the boss tremble.. also synergy with Alice.
Also he does not require stat food at all and with correct equipment choice will be your sturdiest character even without food.
Sub class decision: Heavy armor is what allows us to do what we do with him, so this is not even debatable.

Now for Extra skills and where to put them, I will only mention at least somewhat useful ones for my party suggestion:
Sea Lanzer gem - it's MP restore for 10 turns.. Abel has occasional turns when he does not do much.. while early on you can use him as off damage.. eventually it stops being worth it and you go full support.
Hence Abel gets it.

River Lanzer gem - arguably best optional skill, gives a way for victor to give both def and mdef down for enemy, an utility you otherwise lack.
Do it twice and enemy has double def/mdef down, which is big jump in damage.
It's water element, so it also might be super effective or not effective against something.

Desert Lanzer gem - it's not as great as charging thrust if it hits(default Victor skill for 30 RP) but it might have a few uses as it always goes first, can inflict confusion+blidning.
That being said it's 0 risk unlike charging thrust.

The other skills are IMO just something you won't ever get much use of in our party. And honestly for most of them - in any party at all.

Party strategy:
Random encounters - Victor, Finn, Ratt, Salome
This is obviously late game, I overall give advice for what to do across the game in the guide.
But late game you use those 4.. Salome is usually all you need though.. everyone just basic attacks and Salome does her most compatible AoE.. that's it, yup.. usually salome either kills everything or almost kills everything, unless it's mini boss.
Physical attackers then finish most stuff.
Victor/Ratt with Genji gloves.

It's noteworthy that Ratt's Speed Shot 3 is extremely strong... speed shot 2 not too bad either.. when doing some mini boss encounters you will certainly want to cast those for big damage if he got hit and got loads of RP

Boss encounters:
Victor: Build Rage > Great Rage OR Perfect Rage(great rage is much more damage, perfect rage is making him invincible essentially and is better if enemy has status effects) > spam RP skills
Alice: Always casts heal, if she has extra turn from Abel then she can either guard or cast 'force wall'.. guarding is to gather her RP and ultimately casting 'Avalice Embrace', which pretty much makes everyone much more sturdy.
Abel: Haste 2 > Quick on Salome/Slow on Boss(order of those depends on boss) > Quick on Victor > Guarding/Reapplying Haste 2/Using 50 RP lanzer skill to restore MP for everyone.
Salome: Guard > Enhance Spell > Spam optimal spell

Best equipment:
Victor:
Weapon - Excalibur or Infinity sword(both have pro/cons).. early just best weap you get.
Shield - Mirror Shield... early just whichever best heavy shield
Helmet - Beowulf's Crown.. early mostly viking helmets unless they get too out of date.
Body - Crystal Ninja Garb.. always some ninja garb.
Accessory - Grand Strength Belt + Genji gloves for random encounters. Can replace genji glove with more RP gain if you want to during bosses. Super late game: Grand belt + Will of Lanzer.

Alice:
Weapon - Smite(super late game) or Crystal Bludgeon(best in slot that you get relatively early)
Shield - Shield of warding is best, earlier just her best available shield
Head - Bard hat, earlier your best crown/circlet
Body - Robe of Immortals, earlier - Black dress or simply good armor.
Accessory - Ribbon and Gold Hairpin(earlier silver hairpin)

Abel:
Weapon - Diamond defender.. earlier Einlanzer/simple defender
Shield - Crystal Tower Shield
Head - Dragon Helm
Body - Runic Plate Mail
Accessory - True Knight Belt + Ribbon
This setup is pretty much allowing him to reach 895 def and 514 mdef with no stat food on level 99. That's highest in the party by far. Also attracts attention, which is nice.
Since he does not need to do damage, this is as perfect support as it gets.

Salome:
Weapon - Merlin Rod, earlier best overall Rod.
Head - Merlin Cap, earlier best crowns.
Body - Minerva Plate
Accessory - Gold Hairpin+Hermes Boots for random encounter, Gold Hairpin+Ninja Scroll for bossing
Ninja scroll allows her to equip 2nd weapon. This setup is also top tier if you can get her speed fast enough.
Best 2nd weapon is diamond staff
Can also have accessories being more defensive too.
Extra super late game setup is possible as well, I described it in act 6 part of guide.

Finn:
Weapons - Kama is almost always best, only when they are too outdated you might want to replace 1 as non Kama. Honed edge is a noteworthy weapon you will wield for a long time until you get 2x Diamond Kama
Head - Diamond Cap or any best cap
Body - Ninja Gear of best quality you can afford
Accessory - profiteer charm+lucky shoes
He is mostly a gold/item drop rate gain booster.

Ratt:
Weapon - Diamond Bow(or Wind bow for a long time) OR falcon bow for Super late game setup.
Head - Best Cap OR Crystal stealth mask for super late game setup
Body - Crystal Karati Gi OR Masterwork Ninja Gear for super late game setup
Accessory - Genji Gloves + Grand Focus Lense OR replace lense with Fury of Yvalak for super late game setup.
Super late game setup is basically building him around wielding Fury of Yvalak, making him a glass cannon, pairs well with super late game Salome setup...
This is basically to ensure you always win encounter in 1 round.

you have played 1000s RPGs?coooool!
Hentaika  [author] Feb 12, 2024 @ 1:50am
I do in fact,
There are a lot of RPG maker games that are still among my favorite games of all time despite playing through 1000s of RPGs:
All of those absolutely free too.
Just add 'rpg maker' when searching for those as they are very obscure to find.

In no particular order they are:
The Way - a series of 6 games(most kinda short) with save carry over.
Blurred Line - masterpiece but sadly has open ending and sequel never came out.
Seraphic Blue - quite dark story
Theia the crimson eclipse
Forever home
Laxius Power 1-3 - do not mistake with laxius force series which are 'sequel' but kinda too generic.

Those are the absolute cream, there are more I could advice but they would be lower than those.

Behemoth God and Hard Saul are hard mode exclusive bosses and have no special reward that I know of.
Certainly not achievements.
I personally never done them since I did my guide on normal and hard mode was rushed for remaining achieves.

But from what I heard - those kinda require you to abuse evasion and maybe magic reflect too. Or immense stat grind.
Even normal mode saul kinda had chance against you until you buffed up and started upkeeping buffs theoretically.
I don't want to imagine the hard one.
