I am only the creator of the guide. The creator of the mod is xSFBx. You can ask him personally. I am really busy right now with my own stuff.
"UPDATE! UPDATE! Major latest steam patch broke mods.
Please rollback to v109 for Reforged to work properly."

What?
I'm jealous as I heard of this game this year. There's something about it. Kinda how I feel about gothic. I has something not found in any game since. Issue is I spent years with the detached camera. The stable branch has a bug adding about 3/4 second lag when using the jump button (so no quick dodges). The stable branch's camera works great for me in the new mode. To fix the lag I can use the rollback or the beta branch, but in both of those, the camera is reverted to how the game originally was played.
I want to get the feeling of combat from this game and show it to other devs. It's fun and could be even more. I see it as there could be an entire new combat system in the industry like dark souls. Many people in the forum already mentioned these issues above. The devs I imagine are aware, they likely tried to fix the lag and that caused the camera system to break.
cheers,
This mod fixed most of the things I thought were an issue. There's only one issue I noticed that I haven't found a direct fix for.
The camera jerkiness. There's two reasons for it. The camera is tied like a selfie stick to the player character's head. And the player character when running and stopping quickly, as you do with a controller, will take an extra step to stop, which causes the screen to shake.
Have you come across any mods or any leads to someone that replaced that stiff selfie stick with something like a balloon string? so the camera only keeps the player character's position, not the angle they're looking, and being on a balloon string, small movements won't immediately cause the camera to follow. will a camera like that clip through meshes and walls, probably, but it'd help the issue that many newcomers to this game face.
