A mod that replaces the Demolitionist with Samus Aran from the Metroid series.
For additional related content such as bombs, rockets and grenades that are all Metroid themed, you can find additional content here, which includes replacements for the majority of such items.

This is probably one of the best animated NPCs I've created so far, so I really hope that you enjoy it! :)

Features List;
  • Replaced the Demolitionist with Samus Aran.
  • Replaces the Demolitionist icon with Samus Aran.
  • Renamed the Demolitionist to 'Samus Aran' apon inital death.
  • Replaced Demolitionist related gore.

  • Replaces the Master Gamer outfit to Samus' Zero Suit.
  • Replaces Master Gamer set icons and renames to "Samus' Zero Suit".


All but two sprites are designed by me with a total development time of about 7 hours.
If there are any issues or bugs you would like to be addressed, please comment or message me directly and I'll get around to fixing it as soon as possible.

My designs are created in Adobe Photoshop CC, animated in photoshop and animation testing is done in Adobe After Effects CC.

And that's solid advice. I like to dabble in pixel art, but I'm not an artist and I don't know enough about modding to actually put sprite replacements into the game.

I will, but most of the community is out of my own ideological beliefs so I try to keep out of the community these days, and it's very unlikely I'll find someone like minded enough but just super gay instead. Buff dudes isn't great clickbait content, so i doubt anyone will hop onto the idea.

I highly encourage you making your own stuff if you're really interested in that sort of stuff, its really easy to animate stuff like this, any QC issues I have regarding my stuff can easily be solved with another couple hours. I just try to keep myself inline with a specific amount of quality to time investment ratio, what I have is just as little as I'm willing to put in and get as max value out of it possible, but if you're willing to spend the extra time I'm sure you can get something good out of it.

Any form of creative output with your time is time well invested in my opinion.

Well, thank you for your time and, again, great work. It's not for me, but I can see the talent and mastery that you have put into your creations. If ever you find (in your discord, in your wherever) that you stumble into a conversation with a talented artist/modder who is looking for ideas for NPC revamps, please toss them an idea for doing sexy men. No, there's only one model I'm aware of, specifically of the guide; but it regards him as a twink instead. The only one I can think of otherwise is the buff witch doctor, which is one of the few good pieces on the workshop in my eyes - especially in terms of character concept.
