Graphics settings comparison pictures

I figured out which is the best graphics preset to use so that you won't have to.

What graphics settings to use?
My system is as follows:

AMD Ryzen 5600x
GTX 2070
16 GB RAM
3440x1440 (ultrawide) 144 Hz monitor

At Ultra settings I was getting around 60 FPS with dips below that, which is not ideal for a fast game like this and caused noticeable stuttering. High improves FPS to 80-90, Medium goes 120-144 depending on the scene, and Low always keeps it above 144 Hz. I also noticed that all graphics settings pushed my RTX 2070 to 100% usage, making it hotter and noisier.

Since I the graphical fidelity difference between Medium and Ultra was small, but the one between Low and Medium was big, I'm now playing at medium with the FPS capped at 90 and enjoying smooth-as-butter, stutter-free gameplay. GPU usage is at only 50%, making it save power, generate less heat and noise.

Therefore, the setting I recommend for most people is Medium. Enjoy the comparison images.
Scene 1
Low (144+ FPS)

Medium (126 FPS):

High (79 FPS):

Epic (55 FPS):

Comments: completely arbitrary shadowing changes between Medium to Epic. If I shuffled each one and presented them to you, I doubt you'd be able to tell which was which. Medium it is.
Scene 2
Low (144+ FPS)

Medium (144+ FPS):

High (90 FPS):

Epic (62 FPS):

Comments: Epic has very small ambient occlusion shadows where the chain links meet. And Medium makes the chain lines look slightly fuzzier. Otherwise indistinguishable between Medium to Epic.
Scene 3
Low (144+ FPS)

Medium (120 FPS):

High (77 FPS):

Epic (60 FPS):

Comments: The lighting on the statue noticeably changed between Medium and High (as one example, look at the lighting on the sides of its nose), but that's because the lighting will change all the time even within the same graphics preset.
Scene 4
Low (144+ FPS)

Medium (136 FPS):

High (82 FPS):

Epic (60 FPS):

Comments: this is the only scene where I'd say Epic has a worthwhile improvement over Medium. The lighting on the statue face on the center pillar is better, due to the ambient occlusion. Still not worth the performance hit, though.
Scene 5
Low (144 FPS)

Medium (116 FPS):

High (78 FPS):

Epic (56 FPS):

Comments: The scene looks darker/more shadows on Epic but that's about it.
