The (Almost) complete guide to Zhina

General Info

Welcome to Zhina! A large exploration map created by the talented Lumehr, author of the popular He Will Not Divide Us maps

Zhina is set in a country of a similar sounding name (that we won't name for certain reasons)

Before you start this map, make sure you have the two other workshop files required to run it!

When first launching the map, you MUST Admin Clean Up Everything in the Garry's Mod menu

This map uses very advanced lua scripting containing custom events, shops, and npcs that all require you to clean the map before you play.

The map has a similar feel to a stripped down, single-player version of darkRP

It also fully supports multiplayer and is fun with friends!

Earning Money

The first thing you need to do once you start your game is to start collecting trash



There are specific areas around the map where trash spawns


Start by collecting trash off of the ground and bring it to the trash collector by the Domino’s



Once you have enough money, you can buy the trashmaster from Ping’s PC



Equip the trashmaster from weapon slot 4 and pick up trash much faster



Once you have collected at least 10 trash, use mouse1 to shoot trash at people. This is a very effective weapon as you can almost instantly reclaim your ammo with mouse2

Dojo Access

To access the Dojo, you need a promotional pamphlet



Feed a member of the Dojo to receive a promotional pamphlet



Collect the bucket of oil from the man on the street

• There is a very low chance that a non-host player will get kicked if they jump in the puddle of oil

The oil man will become angry and try to chase you

• To get rid of the man, go to the police and let the man hit you once in front of them
  
• The police will then kill the man

Take the bucket of oil to the restaurant kitchen


Listen to the cook's Instructions and grab a pot



Fill the pot up with water from the sink



Place the pot on the stove (and press use?)



Now add the oil to the pot



Find the tomato



Add a tomato to the pot



Go into the freezer



Grab the leek



Add it to the pot



Get the bat



Add the bat to the pot



Take the pot out to the Dojo member and let him eat the soup



Collect the pamphlet and go give it to the Dojo guard

You now have access to the Dojo

You need to bathe first because you are nasty



Step in a bath and clean yourself —you will also gain some health

Fighting Styles

There are different fighting styles you can purchase after you enter the Dojo and Bathe

• Talk to one of the Dojo members to open the shop
  
• Certain styles require a certain amount of strength to use
  
• Read the apartments section of the guide to learn how to build strength

Gambling

To be able to gamble around the city, you need to do a favor for this man



Collect his money for him and bring it back to him



Exit out the back doors of the building and look to your right to find the sewer entrance



Press your use key to remove the hatch and drop down into the sewer



Go through the closed door



Head right until you reach a door with a window next to it

• Keep trying to open the door (may take a while, try to walk around a bit too)

Once you are in the room grab the pliers on the desk



Go back to the area you came in by the first door you opened and use the pliers to cut the fence


Stay on your side of the sewer and go to through the small area



Cross the splashing water when it's down because it will damage you



Once finished with the puzzle, open the door



Cut the fence that is by the table and go through



Go to your right after going through the archway and grab the money on the table



Turn around and go down the hallway behind you



Once past the pillars AND the red door, go left (the red door goes to the subway)



Follow the path and go back up the entrance pipe



Don't go all the way up (wait for him to disappear)



Go back to the gambling den and give the man his money



Bringing the cash back rewards you with 1500RMB and unlocks gambling around the city

Chicken Fights

The Haters

If you don't want to get scared by Michael Myers in the sewers, there is another way to obtain a pair of pliers

I recommend turning zhina_loudsounds 0 on

Go to the cemetery and get briefed by the dude from Astoria

• If you've played HWNDU:2 This should be nothing new to you
  
• Take the shovel from him and make your way to the back of the cemetery

There is a phone on the ground that you can use when you become a police officer



Dig up the grave and prepare to turn around and RUN



Turn around and RUN



Take a right after jumping over the barrier and go down by the lion statue



Go into the room adjacent and grab the pliers



Go back up the ramp and take another right until you get to the fence



Cut the fence and go through the door



At the end of the winding corridor read the sign and then turn around



Run over to the next sign (making sure to read it)



Go grab your swag, b*tch.

• Go back the way you came and get rid of all the haters
  
• Go to the sewer once they're taken care of and cut the first fence (reference the gambler section of the guide)

CMD Terminal

Computer terminals are a way for you to play certain sounds and access some Easter Eggs. I won't tell you everything since I've already spoiled enough in this guide.



You can also buy three different sized (and priced) bitcoin mining PCs at Ping's. You don't have to place them in your apartment, but you must own an apartment to place one.

I recommend placing the PCs somewhere safe where the police can not reach them. I personally put each PC in a different room at the hotel and then check on them every 10 or so minutes.

Note that Police will only take your bitcoin miners if you are wanted and they can visibly see them.

Usage

• To access your PC, press your use key
  
• To open the bitcoin miner, type "bitcoinminer.exe"
  
• This will prompt you to collect or exit the program
  
• Press 1 to collect and press 2 to exit

• Police stand by children's playground
  
• Ping's PC Computer
  
• Travel Agency Computer

CMD Help

[DIRECTORY TRAVERSAL]
cd <foldername> - change current directory.
cd followed by a space and two periods - go back to previous directory. (cd ..)

[DIRECTORY LISTING]
dir - list all files and folders in the current directory.

[OPENING FILES]
Open files by just entering their name (including file extension).
This doesn't apply to folders, for folders you must use cd <foldername>.

[CLEAR SCREEN]
Use cls to clear the screen.

Train

You can use the train to travel to the North or South side of the map

• You are can ride once without paying for a ticket, but after that Police will catch on

Buy tickets at the train station ticket machines by pressing the use key

• With the side of the map and the speed of the train, it makes more sense to just walk to where you need to get unless you are Roleplaying or want to get in a Police fight over a train ticket

Police

You can become a Police officer and enforce the law in Zhina!

• Head to the police station on the main road (across from the food court) and talk to the officer standing at the desk

To join the Police force:

• You need at least 10 Strength and 1250 Social Credits
  
• You can gain strength by purchasing the 7/11 Apartment and using the Dumbbells. This will take -some time
  
• You can raise your Social Credits by successfully Delivering Pizza to people around the map

After meeting these requirements you will see the chief in his office for a quiz

Once you join the Police force you can:

• Commit state-sanctioned crimes against citizens
  
• Arrest foreigners without reason
  
• Be praised for your hard work and loyalty to Zhina
  
• Play (in-development) missions

Quiz Answers

Q: A foreigner visiting Zhina is about to be scammed! What do you do?
A: Arrest the foreigner!

Q: You just got your Police job. You want a discount on Beer, so you:
A: Demand it for FREE. You are an asset to the country.

Q: You are in the presence of Xi Jinping. How do you conduct yourself?
A: Bow to him, and sing a devotional song.

Q: You see people protesting for their rights, you react by:
A: Disguise as a protestor & vandalize stuff.

Q: Somebody just had a stroke in public, what do you do?
A: Wait for them to recover and tell you what happened.

McDonalds Elevator

The McDonalds Elevator sends you to solve a little mini game

Start by pressing the button 5 times



Wait for a monk to walk up to it and get stuck



Buy the heavy burger



Throw the heavy burger at him

• It may get stuck in the elevator
  
• Use the physgun to get it back if you have to
  
• Once he is unstuck get in the elevator and press the button

You will be teleported to Nepal



Go across the frozen lake



Climb up and around



Grab the hatchet from the tree



Minecraft



Place the logs on the lake

• Note that you must place them carefully because you cannot move them once they are frozen
  
• If you mess up you have to use the physgun to move them (and that's cheating you dummy)
  
• Chopping more than 8 logs gives you a bit of secret information

Once you are across the lake enjoy your suprise



Get in the elevator and go back



If you chopped more than 8 logs this should be self-explanatory

Pizza Delivery

Pizza delivery is a decent way to earn both money and social credits. This is the only way I know of to earn social credits —which is required for joining the police



To start delivering pizza, go to Domino's and press the use key on the cashier on the left. Choose the delivery option.



DO NOT pick up the pizza with the use key. This will cause it to fall out of the box —instead, use the physgun or gravity gun to deliver your pizza.

Various Shops around the map let you buy items to use in game (Click on image to view full size)



Big Daddy's Fireworks


These items are best used with the night version

• Firecracker: Firecrackers are lethal and pretty effective at taking people out
  
• Magic Rockets: Rockets shoot up into the sky and look pretty (double tap use key to activate)
  
• Sky Lantern: Lanterns float up into the sky (double tap use key to activate)
  
• Kaz What The F*ck: Place this on the ground and have fun (double tap use key to activate)

Merchant in the Underground Mall (Bat Seller)

• Bat on a Stick: Eat the bat at your own risk (you might need to make a trip to 7/11 later)
  
• Stolz Beer: Best beer brewed right here in great country of Zhina. Greatly adds or takes away health

Matcha Tea Monk (Temple)

• Matcha Tea: Drinking Tea is the best way to increase max health
  
• Will take effect on respawn

MacDonalds Tikagai Station


These items don't do much yet

• Szechuan Chicken Burger: Flavorful Chicken Burger
  
• The Heavy Burger: Heavier than your mom
  
• Toshi's Devilish Sandwich: Will kill you probably
  
• Coco-Cola: Don't shake it
  
• Press the elevator button 5 times and then buy the heavy burger

Ping’s PC

• Fortze 10: Fortze hacking device is used to access computers
  
• BTC Mining Station: Bitcoin miners make RMB for you so you don't have to collect trash for the rest of your life (you must have a property in order to buy)
  
• Make sure the police don't see your bitcoin miners
  
• After placing, press use key and type bitcoinminer.exe and then press 1 to collect your coin
  
• Trashmaster: Trashmaster is self explanatory if you read the starting section of this guide

7/11 (Konbini)

• Canned Potatoes: Buy ammo for the spud gun
  
• Coronavirus Cure: Get a water bottle with special stuff in it after eating the bat
  
• Hot Coffee: Hot hot hot hot Coffee
  
• Cigarette: Marlboro Smooths, Sets HP to Max but decreases Max HP
  
• Vitasoy: Soy Milk for Soy Boys

Pet Store

• Buy Doggy: You are able to buy dogs and dog food for them
  
• Pet Food: Heal and Boost your dog
  
• The maximum amount of dogs you can have is 12

Psychic

The Psychic reads your fortune which can award you with items or perks. You can also have bad fortune. The lower the odds the better your chances of being rewarded are.
