This Forza Horizon 5 guide will take you through the best cars selection in-game for various race types,pr stunts and overall top speed.

Welcome to my guide for Forza Horizon 5 by lnfinitus

There are a total of 550+ cars in FH5. It can get quite overwhelming, esp. for new players as to which car to choose/buy for a certain race-type or a PR Stunt. Some Hard to reach XP Boards and Fast Travel Boards requires a certain type of car to smash those boards in hard to reach places.

Forza Horizon 5 has a wide variety of tracks and biomes to race and explore, so picking the right car for the occasion is critical. There are a number of different types of races that each car excels in, including road, cross country, and courses with many turns.

There are three types of races to play through in Forza Horizon 5 at first:

• Apex road races

• Baja cross-country races

• Wilds dirt races.

[For Drag Races, you can use any given Street/Road racing car choices with a suitable tune or you can use the Fastest Car in FH5]

NOTE: You can buy all the given cars from Autoshow or if you get lucky you may receive them from wheelspins/super-wheelspins. After obtaining the car you may have to tune it for optimal performance.

Fastest Car

The Fastest Car in FH5 is undoubtedly The Koenigsegg Jesko 2020. It's top speed can go upto 492km/h or 306m/h depending on your tune. The main highway is the best place to roll those wheels in top speed.

The Jesko model of the Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg was first introduced in Forza Horizon 4. But the same model got some serious boost to its speed in Forza Horizon 5.

While it’s true that the price for this vehicle just might clean out the entire savings in your virtual wallet, the reward for your purchase is bar-none. If you’re trying to clear out those remaining Speed Traps on your map, this one will get you three stars in a few seconds. It takes a bit to reach 100, but once it does there’s no stopping it.

Drift Cars

There are 20 Drift Zones in Forza Horizon 5. Using the game's three-star system, the amount of XP and Accolades you'll get for each Drift Zone is contingent upon how high you score.

While there are 14 official drift cars available to start the game [equipped with drift tyres], several more are unlockable and downloadable as the game progresses. While many cars in the game can be tuned and upgraded to make drifting more efficient, there's a slew of Formula Drift cars available in the game that are tailor-made for drift racing right out of the gate.

NOTE: To tune these drift cars, just download any highly rated public tune setup and you will be good to go!

Remember that some Drift Zones are performed on dirt roads while others are on pavement. Again, all designated Drift Cars will hold up well no matter the surface, but should you try to complete Drift Zones with a more traditional car, emphasize that e-brake and stick to the surface that's right for your vehicle. Don't take a Ferrari into the dirt, for example.

Road Races

When it comes to road racing in Forza Horizon 5, little more than raw speed, power, acceleration, and a lightweight body is required to defeat fellow racers in the game. As a result, it's no surprise that such iconic brands as Bugatti, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Koenigsegg reign supreme.

Street Races

When it comes to street racing in Forza Horizon 5, best street racing cars in the game don't always equate to the fastest cars per se, they also take into account factors such as body weight, handling, braking, acceleration, etc.

Dirt Races

Not too different from rally cars and offroad vehicles, dirt race cars must be able to blaze their way through unpaved surfaces and dusty trails with the utmost speed, control, and consistency.Dirt racing requires cars with terrific handling and road grip to maintain momentum.

Cross-Country Races

Cross country racing is less dependent on fast acceleration and topline speed and far more reliant on stamina, durability, handling, suspension, and AWD offroad capabilities to navigate pavement, dirt, sand, rocks, cliffs, mountains, jungles, and more.

The game's thrilling, chaotic nature is perhaps best exemplified with Cross-Country events. These are a series of racing showdowns that typically span great distances and often throw curveballs at the player with diverse terrain, tough AI, and generally bumpy rides.

Best Jump Car for Hard to reach Boards

There are a few XP/Fast Travel boards which are Hard to reach. These require a good and precise jump. The 2014 BAC Mono is the best car for those high jumps, it's lightweight body helps you to make those high jumps and smash those boards even without a very high speed momentum.

The 2014 Bac Mono is my favorite free roaming vehicle, millions of skillpoints made super easily. kind of hard to climb mountains with it without proper offroad tuning, but this little monster can JUMP - especially when you're in the 9th gear with the highest performance tuning setup you can find

In all fairness, since the computer matches you with cars of the same class just listing the fastest S2 class cars is a bit limiting, I've won more races in the Peugeot with an A 800 tune than anything and most of the street races I've won with an A class car.
