[DAD QUEST] 100% Achievements Guide

A complete guide on how to unlock all the achievements in the game Dad Quest.

MAIN STORY

Those achievements are unlocked during the main story of the game :


Get Shot!
By a gun!


Legs
Your Child has always had legs, but now they can use them.


Money Mismanagement
Your Credit Card is maxed! How did this happen? You have a Child to think about!


Kill 500 enemies
Did you really need to kill them all? (who's the real monster?)


Patience...
...is a virtue.


You are the Champion
Become Mountain City Champion


A Warm Embrace
The bond between Dad and Child has never been stronger.

You are a Good Dad?
You've defeated the Robber. She needed to be stopped, but somehow you still feel weird.


The Very Best
It doesn't feel like you earned all these Dadges. Is that what being a Dad feels like?

SIDE QUESTS

There are 20 side quests in the game :

01. Skillet Boy (beach)
--> Kill the mob that drop eggs right above his head

02. Snowy Skillet Boy (mountain)
--> Kill the mob that drop eggs right above his head

03. Escort the Meteorologist (desert)

04. Missing Pet (beach)
--> Find the Pet Rock

05. Hide N Seek (mountain park)

06. The Queen's Key (mountain)
--> After winning the Arena, you'll go in the mountain to defeat the Owl.
Offer its Black Feather to the Ice Queen.


07. Prep Room Delivery (the arena)
--> Deliver the package to the Chef in the east alley.

08. Pizza Delivery (mountain city)
--> Deliver the 1st Pizza in Perk Living.
Deliver the 2nd pizza in a tent in the mountain park.
Before delivering the 3rd pizza, you'll need to collect a Soda Token from the Mall.
Exchange it for a soda in the pizzeria. Deliver the pizza and the soda in the Arena.

Unlocking achievement :

Delivery Dad
Deliver all-a tha pizza pies! Season 1 Episode 5a


09. Trash King (mountain city)
--> Take the quest in the alley from the east side of the city, near the clothing store.
Kill the rat king in the alley between the bank and the might AID.

Unlocking achievement :

Regicide!
The Shadow made you do it.


10. Lovers (mountain)
--> In the Mountain City Park, go left at the elevator, climb to the heart shaped door, at the right side of the man sleeping in cardboards.

11. Hot Air Baloon (mountain city)
--> You'll need a match and a log to complete this quest. You can get those items from NPCs (lumberjack in mountain city park and match vendor near the mall). From chests. Or from gacha machines in the mall.

12. Bank Rewards I (mountain city)
13. Bank Rewards II (mountain city)
14. Bank Rewards III (mountain city)
15. Bank Rewards IV (mountain city)
--> Pay off your loan at the bank.

Unlocking achievement :
Free as a Bird
Somehow you managed to defy logic and pay off your Credit Card Debt. Maybe you can become a Good Dad after all


16. Find Caves Entrance (library)
(story related)
--> Put back the book on the bookshelf.

17. Get a Costume (cave)
(story related)
--> Buy both veggie costumes.
Throw your child in the changing booth.

Unlocking achievement :

Dress Up!
Change your Child's outfit in a changing booth

In addition :

Trick and Get Treated
Get candy twice from one house.

--> You need to buy both veggie costumes. Dress your child with the first costume, visit all the houses, get candies. Then dress your child with the second costume and revisit all the houses. It's better to complete this achievement asap, because once the Harvest Festival has started, people won't be home to give you candies anymore.

18. How to Scare (cave)
Requirements:
* child must wear the full Pumpkin costume
* child Interact must be unlocked (from the Haunted House)
Steps:
1. talk to skeleton kid in the suburbs
2. fill out survey
3. bring survey to skeleton kid in farmlands
4. stand behind bush in lower right corner of farmlands
5. throw child in between the two groups of pumpkins
6. wait for child interact icon to appear and then press the interact button
7. wait for crow to hop onto screen and begin talking
8. wait for child interact icon to appear and then press the interact button
9. return to skeleton kid for reward

Unlocking achievement :

Learned to Scare
Not as simple as you thought, eh?


19. Clear out the Burbs (desert)
--> After the cave, you're back to the desert. A Dad will ask you to kill mobs in the desert city.

20. Bug Juice (cave)
--> in the Beanlands, talk to Chemsuit Clod, he gives you flyswatters.
Use this toy to kill bugs in the cave and collect 5x Bug Juice.

After completing all the side quests listed above, you'll unlock :

Quest Quixote
Complete every quest in the game

MISSABLE

Those achievements may be missed because they require a specific action to be unlocked. However, the game is not locked after the credits, and all of them can be completed during or after the storyline.


Vantage Point
Ed has a point that only he can understand.

--> In the desert you'll meet Ed. Go up there and talk to him about his name to unlock this achievement.


Give em a Hand
This is oddly confusing.

--> Sleep in the bed in the barracks of the Arena.


Take to the Skies!
Take an intimate ride in the hot air balloon


Frequent Flyer
Take the Hot Air Balloon in both directions

--> Fly from the mountains to the desert, and back from the desert to the mountains.

Talk Back
They backed us, and now they are forever immortalized in video game form. Regardless of if they change outfits in real life.

--> Zone : The Gated. North of Mountain Residential. Talk to everyone in there.


Pigeons are the Worst
Defeat the all-powerful Pigeon Wizard.

--> After unlocking Cave Dad's ability. Go down the well in the mountains, near people striking for pigeons' freedom. Defeat the Pigeon Wizard.


Big Conversations
Some creatures have Dads and Grand Dads too. Seek them out.

--> Talk to the Queen in the Beanlands (she stands next to Chemsuit Clod)


Taking Time Off
Rest those weary dad arms by leaving your Child at the daycare

--> After completing the Haunted House, you can leave your child at the daycare.


Deep Hole, Heavy Pockets
You've made it deep into the Gravel Pit. But how much more is there to go?

--> Complete level 25 in the Gravel Pit.


Center of the Earth
Reach the bottom of the Gravel Pit.

--> Complete level 50 in the Gravel Pit.

Complete the Mountain City Park Balloon Popping Challenge (MCPBPC) in 20 seconds or less

--> This achievement will come along while looking for the Hat Propeller Pigtails, or the Wallet item, which may be the prize for a 20 seconds completion of the challenge.


Gambling Addiction
Use a gacha machine 20 times

--> No worries, in order to unlock all the missing toys for the HOARDER achievement, you'll use a gacha machine more than 20 times...


Dad Quest the Video Game
That one really meta joke where you find a copy of Dad Quest

--> To complete this achievement, you firstly need to obtain a Collectible Keychain. And then, trade it to the lady in the alley between the bank and the might AID. I do not advise you to buy it for 5k gravels at the very rare gacha machine. Instead, keep on feeding the TOY GRINDER with all the toys you get, either from the balloon popping challenge, or from the common (75 gravels) gacha machine, until it gives you a Collectible Keychain.

Minor note: For the Skillet Boy quests, you don't need to kill the enemies that drop things. You need to lure one over so it drops its attack (egg) on Skillet Boy's skillet.
