Morrowind Walkthrough For Beginners : Dark Elf
От хороший игрок
This is a beginners walkthrough for those who are new and or not seeing much help for specific races and classes in a great game such as Morrowind. This is going to be my first guide and I am open to critisism and ideas for they would be helpful. The reason I am writing this guide is because there is not much help in the steam community and I believe this game deserves more than that. If you have any questions, comments or complaints you are free to message me on steam or comment on the guide. Thank you for your time.

Introduction To Character Creation For This Specific Character
- When you first spawn in after the cutscene choose your name, race (Dark Elf), etc.

- Continue on until you speak to Socucius Ergalla click on (Give Him The Info) and scroll down to the class Thief and choose The Steed as a birthsign.

-Proceed by picking up the release papers and on your right there is a Limeware Platter, quickly pick it up and then drop it out of your inventory. When the guard is done warning you not to do it again, pick the limeware platter again and go through the door you are told to.

After you go through the door head straight through the hallway and take LITERALLY everything for you will need some gold to start out with and do the same with both of the rooms in the building.

-When you leave the building grab everything out of the barrel and proceed into the secondary building next to the barrel, talk to The Captain about your duties and head foreward.

-This is it for the Introduction To creating a Dark Elf Thief
Seyda Neen And Getting Started
- When leaving the Excise building go the the Woodelf Fargoth and give him the ring you found in the barrel. Because of this you will get a discount at the Tradehouse when you sell your useless things.

- Continue onto the Trade house and speak to the elf at the counter to sell your stuff. I suggest that you buy a Chitin Bow with 100 Arrows, Light Armor, and a Short Blade of your choice.

- Afterwards head upstairs and speak to Hrisskar Flat-Foot and ask about Fargoth's Hiding Place. He will ask you to find the Hiding Place and give him the money from it, although we are just going to keep the money for ourselves.

- When you go to the Lighthouse to the left of the front door there is a stump with an enchanted weapon in it, jump from the rocks and onto the stump to grab it; for it is worth selling, afterwards go into the Lighthouse and climb to the top.

- Look out to the big puddle with the stump and wait til nightfall. When its night you will see Fargoth walk into the swampy puddle and go the the stump. after he gets out of the water go to it and you will find 300 Gold, a Lockpick, and his ring.

- Take these and head back to the Tradehouse. When inside you can sell the axe and the ring (If You Want To) and head upstairs. If you want Long Blade Training speak to Raflod The Braggart, otherwise you can leave.

- Also if you think you are up for it you can venture into a cave called Addamasartus, that is located behing the Stilt Strider in town.

- Inside are three hostile NPC's one with a dagger, one with a spell that will kill you in 2 to 3 hits, another with throwings stars and a dagger. Inside that cave is some moon sugar and other Misc. items.

- Also if you wish you can use a key to set free three slaves. This is unimportant for they do nothing to help or harm you.

- The last thing that is dire to starting out, is to find the tax collectors body, it is located to the left of Seyda Neen. You need to follow the coastline on the left and continue until you find a dead body. On the body is about 200 gold and some tax papers.

- If you feel that you have done everything need be, in Seyda Neen head to the Stilt Strider and travel to Balmora, where the next couple of chapters take place.

Thank you for reading this far, but I do not want to go through the trouble of making a guide for this incredibly long game without knowing if it is helping people out, please post a comment about what you thought of the guide and any changes you reccomend I will put into thought. I plan on making a full walkthrough but it will take some time, think of this as an "Alpha" guide.

step 1: play the game like Oblivion but like it's at level 50 when you haven't abused the game's systems heavily.

For more stuff to steal & sell: there is a key to the warehouse, behind the Captain, you can use the same trick as the Limeware platter, but if you have other stolen stuff on you that you haven't dropped as well, he'll take them.

Well first of all NEVER pick a pre-made class and the Steed is a bad pick too. Starting with a high endurance and agility is WAY more beneficial early game. The Lady is best in my opinion. Destruction is also overpowered early on if you have the magicka points (which is why Breton is literally the best race in Morrowind). Also, always try to make sure you get full +5 bonus' to stats when you lvl up, especially endurance, you want to get 100 endurance as soon as possible.

Step 1: select Orc

there should be a quests tab in the journal

As one of the few people not providing their own pearls of wisdom, I can definitely say this is good and much better than the blind fumbling in the dark I have been doing. Is there a way to handle the broken journal system without having to do every quest as you take them? Otherwise I lose them in the journal and can't find them again.

So with the tax collector, you collect the 200, then take down the killer (the shack immediately behind Arrille's Tradehouse), then talk to Socius Ergalla and collect the 500. You net the full 700 septims this way. Also the lady at the lighthouse is in love with the Processus (the tax collector) and will give some much needed healing potions in exchange for his ring.

Other than missing out on some free magic items hidden around seyda neen for a little extra gold to start, decent guide. I love the list of trainers in the early towns, better than searching all the trainers to find the skills I want.

finding the killer earns you 500gold minus the 200 you hand him over to be able to continue the quest. Good guide so far!
