A growing number of "Game Guide" sites are appearing on the web that simply harvest guides from Steam using bots, Ads are then placed alongside the guides and site owner then profits from the hard work of others. Indiefaq, Steamlists, Steamah & Steamsolo are the biggest culprits, please do not support these content stealing cretins.

Achievement Guide.

Mini Words: Top Games has a total of 12 Steam achievements, with one achievement popping at the end of each of the 10 stages, another achievement for completing 100 questions (there are 255 in total... I think) and the final achievement pops when the other 11 are unlocked. Completion time depends entirely if using a guide or not, with a guide, is about a 60-90 mins.

No achievements are missable, once a stage has been completed, the next is unlocked and any level can be replayed at any time.

Please note that, as of the time of writing (13th Dec 2021), Mini Words: Top Games is currently "profile limited" so achievements will not yet count towards profile totals, I'm somewhat unsure of the process, but given the positive reviews, it should only be a matter of time until they count towards profile totals.

Gameplay Guide/Notes.

Mini Words: Top Games is in essence a word search game where the answers are either the titles of, or are related to "top games".

There are 10 stages consisting of 10 levels with each level containing between 1 and 4 questions, totalling, I believe 255 questions.

The questions are found on the left side of the screen, you will be given the first letter and there are underscores indicating the total number of letters in the answer.

Once you have worked out the answer to a question simply click with the left mouse button (LMB) on the starting letter, continue to hold the LMB down and drag the cursor over the letters to form a chain (word) which forms the answer.

You can join words left to right, up to down and diagonally. As you connect the letters a line will appear connecting the letters, in levels with multiple questions, you cannot go over existing lines/connections and you cannot cross over diagonal lines/connections. There are however, no limits, beyond the number of possible connections to the number of times a single letter is used.

You must, however ensure to use every letter at least once. If you fail to use every letter, yet answer all questions, the unused letters will flash red and you will have to complete level again, this time using all of the letters before you are able to progress to the next level.

Bugs.

Other than some typo's in the game description information provided when answering a question correctly, no bugs were encountered while playing Mini Words: Top Games.
