Vintage English Voices
By NeoStrayCat
Welcome, Castle of Shikigami 2 fans! If anyone remembers playing the NA PS2 version as well as I have, its that the majority remembers it for the questionable English translation and dub. While not included, since the game has a newly revised English translated script, and the original JP voices.

However, great strides have been made to restore the entire dub (to an extent) from the NA PS2 version. (This does not include the script from the PS2 version though. But might look into it in the future if one gets made/done.)

Open the file with any zip extractor, then simply drag and drop the entire "na" folder (in "Castle of Shikigami 2\media" and then select "yes" to replace all files.) to hear everyone based on the old NA PS2 release. A ReadMe is included for more information.

Note: There are 5 co-op dialouge voices that are still in JP due to XS Games mishandling of the localization back in the day.

@1337haXXor:
Actually, yeah, I used Psound to rip the SND.bin, the voice clips were, at least, individually named similarly to that of the sound files of the PC/Steam version (though I had to convert all of them to OGG format), there are also additonal sounds in there too, but most of it is the in-game JP voices during gameplay.

But other than that, it took a while getting them all properly running. Still have no idea how to mod the game script/text though.

Where did you get these? The SND.bin from the PS2 image? I recall ripping the audio assets from the game a while ago, but it was a hodgepodge of all the thousands of audio clips, not neatly organized like this. I haven't had a chance to check it out, but if this all works then props! I know how bad the voice acting is, but the nostalgia and cringe missing from this PC release are what kept me simply emulating it on PS2 instead.
