Introduction
This is a list of all the achievements available in Gloomhaven digital. The reason for making this guide is that several achievements are listed as hidden in compliance with the creator's spoiler policy. Some of them may be unlikely to complete without knowing they exist, so this guide was put together as a resource to know what to work toward.

I've broken the achievements down into the following categories:

Scenario - Completing a scenario a specific way. These can be done in guildmaster or campaign mode.

Campaign - Achievements that can only be completed in campaign mode.

Campaign Boss - Defeat a boss in campaign mode. Note that some of these are mutually exclusive and will require multiple campaigns.

Guildmaster - Achievements that can only be completed in guildmaster mode.

Starting Characters - Achievements that require beating scenarios in specific ways with certain characters in the party. Can be done in guildmaster or campaign mode.

Locked Characters - As above, but with the unlockable characters.
Scenario Achievements
I'm Not Dead Yet - Complete a scenario without any mercenaries exhausting. Pretty much a freebie.

You Activated My Trap Card! - Activate 3 or more traps in a round. This includes moving enemies into traps or stepping on them yourself.

Overkill - Deal 20 or more damage in a single attack. Easiest way to do this is a high level Berserker using Glass Hammer. If you don't have that locked class, Scoundrel is likely your best bet with Smoke Bomb for a x2 - it stacks with rolling a crit, which can easily get to 20 damage. If the Scoundrel is level 7, you also have access to Spring the Trap which can add another x2.

Master Assassin - Have a mercenary deal over 200 damage over the course of a scenario. A level 9 spellweaver (with Inferno) in a sufficiently long scenario should be able to handle this one. It could help to play on 4 characters so there are more targets.

Vaccine Incoming - Heal 60 hit points total across all party members in a scenario. This is another one where more party members makes this easier to complete.

The Sniper - Win a scenario using only ranged attacks. Just bring mercenaries with primarily ranged attacks and this should be pretty simple.

Spread the Plague - Defeat an enemy with 4 or more negative conditions. Mindthief can set this up pretty easily with the Withering Claw augment (melee attacks inflict poison and muddle). The bottom of Mind's Weakness can then inflict wound. Then just add one more like Disarm from Brute or Stun from Tinkerer to get your 6. Just make sure to kill them before the debuffs expire.

A Normal Day in Gloomhaven - Complete a scenario on difficulty normal or higher. Another freebie.

The Pacifist - Complete a scenario without any mercenaries killing an enemy. This can be fairly easy to accomplish in the Shrine of Depths scenario (30). A spellweaver with Ride the Wind and an invisibility cloak can make it to the objective in a very short amount of time, although any class with high mobility and jump should be able to manage.
Campaign Achievements
Precious! - Enhance your first card. Complete Frozen Hollow to unlock enhancement, then just enhance a card. Simple.

Grizzled Veteran - Retire a mercenary. Just follow the instructions on your personal quest.

Power Up! - Have a party of 4 mercenaries with at least 1 enhanced card each. Even if you're only playing with 2 mercenaries, you can just make 2 new ones and use their starting money to buy an enhancement.

Dungeon Veteran - Have 5 mercenaries retire in a single campaign. Just keep going for your retirement goals. Remember that you can replay completed scenarios if needed.

Spoiler Police - Unlock every mercenary in a single campaign. Most of the locked mercenaries are unlocked from personal quests. Try to pick PQ that give you new mercs (you can always re-make a character if you don't like the PQs they're given). Keep in mind a few classes can additionally be unlocked outside of personal quests: Sun is unlocked automatically at 10 reputation, Eclipse at -10 reputation, and Angry Face can be unlocked from a core scenario.
Campaign Boss Achievements
Check out my other guide for details on how to get to various scenarios: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2644507562

I Hate Portals - Defeat the boss in Infernal Throne (scenario 21) or Gloomhaven Battlements B (scenario 36) Both of these will become locked if you complete Ruinous Rift (scenario 27) first, so hold off on doing that scenario.

Merchant of Doom - Defeat the boss in Gloomhaven Square B (scenario 12) or Necromancer's Sanctum (scenario 20). Fighting this boss in scenario 12 is mutually exclusive with "Caught Off Guard." Fighting the boss in scenario 20 is mutually exclusive with "The Rat King."

From Gloom, Only Greed and Death Emerges - Defeat the boss in The Void (scenario 51). This one can't be missed.

Who's the Boss? - Defeat the boss in Barrow Lair (scenario 2). Can't be missed.

Betray This - Defeat the boss in Lost Temple (scenario 79). See my other guide for details - this one requires taking specific actions in 3 different events.

Add a Bit of Color - Defeat the boss in Temple of the Eclipse (scenario 81). Make sure to accept a strange coin as payment during a certain city event.

Caught Off Guard - Defeat the boss in Gloomhaven Warehouse (scenario 8). This is mutually exclusive with the achievement The Rat King.

The Rat King - Defeat the boss in Diamond Mine (scenario 9). This is mutually exclusive with the achievement Caught Off Guard.

Captain Hooked - Defeat the boss in Gloomhaven Square A (scenario 11) or Gloomhaven Battlements A (scenario 35). Doing the boss in scenario 11 is mutually exclusive with Caught Off Guard and Merchant of Doom.

How to Train your Drake - Defeat the Drake in Scarred Summit (scenario 34). This scenario will become locked if you complete Savaas Armory (scenario 33).

Down the Hatch - Defeat the boss in Nightmare Peak (scenario 46). Can't miss it.

An Eye for an Eye - Defeat the boss in Lair of the Unseeing Eye (scenario 47). Can't miss it.

The Cephalophore - Defeat the boss in Shadow Weald (scenario 48). Can't miss it.
Guildmaster Achievements
A Cult Following - Defeat the High Cultist. This is the boss of the Tinkerer + Spellweaver personal scenarios. Get both of them to level 6 and complete all their other scenarios to access this.

Over Your Dead Body - Defeat the Undead Commander. This is the boss of the Soothsinger + Elementalist personal scenarios. Get both of them to level 6 and complete all their other scenarios to access this.

The Guildmaster - Complete the scenario "It's All Just a Game." This scenario is unlocked by doing every other boss scenario in Guildmaster mode. That means you will need to get every single character unlocked, up to level 6, and complete all their previous scenarios. Have fun.

The Cartographer - Complete every travel scenario. Travel scenarios follow a mostly linear story. Just keep completing them until there aren't any left.

Lara Who? - Complete all Relic scenarios. These need to be unlocked by doing specific things - check the trainer tab for information on how to unlock them.

A Tough Job - Complete a job scenario on brutal difficulty. The easiest ones to complete are probably the jobs that have 2 separate groups of monsters that are hostile to each other.
Starting Class Achievements
Get Over Here! - Brute - Use 6 different Push or Pull actions over the course of a scenario. This is pretty easy, even with the initial deck you have Warding Strength, Sweeping Blow, and Overwhelming Assault for repeatable pushes.

Mine... All Mine... - Scoundrel - Loot 14 or more gold piles in a single scenario. This is particularly easy to accomplish in Lost Island (scenario 17). An enhanced Swift Bow with move speed boots can also speed up your looting.

Augmented Rat - Mindthief - Use 5 or more augment abilities in a single scenario. Currently, the game seems to count using any half of an augment ability for this achievement, so regularly using the bottom of Feedback Loop for example, should get you the achievement.

Obstacle Race - Cragheart - Place 6 or more obstacles in a single scenario. Easiest way to do this at level 1 is the bottom of Avalanche. After getting to level 4, Rock Slide is another easy way to earn this.

Just When I Thought I Was Out - Spellweaver - Recover 7 burned cards with Reviving Ether. This requires you to have 6 burned cards as well as Reviving Ether and a card with a bottom burn action in your hand. On your turn, first burn the bottom action card then play the top of Reviving Ether. If you want to do this with Mystic Ally, you need to immediately dismiss it (click the icon by your character portrait at the top), otherwise the card doesn't count as recovered since it's in play.

Anatomy Lesson - Tinkerer - Inflict 4 different conditions in a scenario. This can be done at level 1 - Toxic Bolt gets you poison, Stun Shot gets you Stun, Net Shooter gets you immobilize, and Flamethrower gets you wound. Remember that if you kill an enemy with one of these abilities, the condition doesn't count as being applied.
Locked Class Achievements
Unmarked class spoilers beyond this point

Pack Leader - Summoner - Use 5 or more summon actions in a scenario. These don't have to be different actions, so whatever you recover with Unending Dominance can count twice.

The Pro from Dover - Sawbones - Give 10 or more medical packs in a scenario. Easy enough at level 2 if you take Precaution and/or level 6 if you take Prescription.

Pretty Lights! - Elementalist - Consume all 6 elements in a scenario. The bottom of Shaping Ether lets you generate any element you want. Formless Power meanwhile lets you consume any element you want. Alternatively, if you're a high level, you can do this all in a single round with Chromatic Explosion from Spellweaver (generates all 6 elements) and Simulacrum (lets you consume 6 elements in a single attack).

Pain is Your Friend - Berserker - Use 10 or more abilities that hurt you in a scenario. You get a bunch of these at level 1. You might want to bring a mercenary with healing or some healing potions to ensure you have enough hp to spare.

Black Death - Plaugeherald - Poison 10 or more enemies in a scenario. Vile Pestilence is your best bet at level 1. It's an AoE, so the more characters you're playing with, the more targets you'll have.

Light of my Life - Sunkeeper - Buff 10 or more allies. I believe this counts Bless, Strengthen, and giving allies shield. Purifying Aura lets you do this as an AoE at level 1 and will be easier with more characters.

Quad Damage - Quartermaster - Make 4 or more attacks in a single round. Multi-hit abilities don't appear to count as multiple attacks, so you may need to rely on cards that attack multiple times. For example, you can get 2 attacks with the top of Hastened Step, 1 attack with the bottom of Restock, and use a Ring of Haste (prosperity 5 item) to use the bottom attack of Crippling Blow.

Now You See Me... - Nightshroud - Kill 8 or more enemies while invisible. Insta-kills should count here. Grab an Invisibility Cloak for some extra invisibility options. And remember that you effectively count as invisible for 2 turns - the turn you go invisible and the turn afterward.

Grin and Bear It - Beast Tyrant - Have your bear deal over 100 damage and get at least 6 kills in a scenario. Take plenty of command cards for this one. It's easiest at higher levels with a full party.

Play It Again, Sam - Soothsinger - Play 5 different songs. Requires at least level 2 before you have enough songs. Just keep playing different ones.

Doom and Gloom - Doomstalker - Kill 10 or more Doomed enemies in a scenario. This one can be tough since dooms use a bottom action and prevent you from moving that turn. You also can't have your allies kill your targets. This is probably easiest on a survive 10 turns scenario in Guildmaster mode since you don't have to move as much. The level 8 ability Rising Momentum can also help with dooming a lot of enemies.

No, I don't have the DLC and don't have plans to return to Gloomhaven digital.

Are you going to add how to get the Jaws of the Lion achievements?
Mechalibur  [autor] 16 stycznia 2024 o 14:12
You can continue playing after finishing the last scenario.

Is it possible to finish a campaign without unlocking every class? Does the game cut you off after the last mission?

Any idea on how achievements work with multiplayer? Whether local or online

Thanks for this Guide. I think you can get the achivements with the condition "in a scenario" relativly easy, when you retry a failure. That worked for me for example by "Doom and Gloom".

Oh btw I saw you don't have the DLC, most of its achievements so far are pretty straightforward (like use the Favorite 5 times with the Hatchet) but "Murder Death Kill" (Destroy 8+ obstacles in one scenario with the Demolitionist) took me quite a while. I finally did it in JotL scenario #20, "Misplaced Goods" which is absolutely full to the brim with obstacles - might want to mention that so people make sure to bring their Demolitionist for it and don't fret if they didn't get it before then.

Oh I had completely misunderstood the post lmao (might want to clarify it for dummies like me), I thought Eclipse *only* unlocked if you reached -10 rep which is why I was thinking about that for my next campaign. I suppose I'll have to side with Jekserah in the second one anyway because of the different boss fights though, but no need to fret over reaching -10 rep if I can get this done in the first playthrough.
