How To Get Both Endings In Vicious Sisters (+ A Guide For The 'To Do Lists')
โดย crystal_the_axolotl
A (hopefully) helpfull guide on how to achieve the Good Ending in Vicious Sisters. Also features instructions to the To Do Lists and a few tips to obtain rare achievements.

English is not my native language so I apologize for any mistakes or typos. Might have some light spoilers regarding locations but likely safe to read if you're still at the begining of the game.

Tips On How Not To Die In Vicious Sisters

First of all, I would like to mention that there is no need to compleete all To Do Lists to get the Good Ending.

It sure helps to have a full life though, but you can still achieve Ending A with full permanent Health Dammage (meaning Mina's Health Points is down to one Life Point at the end of the game if you choose to do no crafting).

What you do need however is to pick up three specific Items before the end of the game. If you fail to do so, you will get Ending B by default since there is only two Endings in this sequel.

Now, before we begin, a few tips:

  • It might seem obvious, but headphones are highly recomended so you can hear the direction from which Dark Song is comming and how far she is from you.

  • Save as often as you can so you don't loose all progress if you get killed.

  • If you want to keep all five Health Points, complete all the To Do's before moving to a new location or Dark Song will hurt you when you leave and will loose one HP permanently each time.

  • If you hear Dark Song's high heels or The Butcher's steps, run the other way before they notice you.

  • The best way to escape the Night Stalkers is to dodge them then run, as they cannot follow you to another floor or inside a room.

  • Be very careful of any Falling Bodies, or Night Stalkers if you only have one HP left at the end of the game, because at this point anything is a one shot, even the Spores or Grabbing Hands, will kill you instantly.

  • The final version of Dark Song is also very lethal. At this point the only way to get out of the encounter is to dodge or use Mace if you get caught.

  • You can easily avoid Dark Song and return to the floor you need to go by changing floors, waiting and then returning - as long as she doesn't notice you; or taking a detour if you hear she's standing between you and your destination.

  • Should Dark Song notice you, the best way to escape her is to run to the nearest hidding spot; changing floors to hide might make her leave sooner too.

  • Toilets are your best friend: if you can, check out all stalls before Dark Song first appears in the building or when she isn't around so the locked stalls will be indicated when you need to hide and you don't have to loose time checking them when she's chasing you. (same goes for any hiding spot except desks since they obviously can't be locked)

  • Vending Machines are nice, but you can find Mace, Drinks, Food and healing supplies in bags all the time, so keep your Coins for when you can't find what you need and have to restore your Health/Stamina or get back a Mace after escaping Dark Song.

  • Depending on the location, you might need to buy/pic up different healing/buffing Items. (for example, you might get poisoned more easily at the Sehwa Hospital and will most likely run out of Stamina if you keep running down those long hallways)

  • Different Food heals more or less HP and the more they heal the more they cost. If you don't plan on crafting or missed one or more To Do, there's no need to ruin yourself on Food that restore more health than you own in the first place. If you plan on doing no crafting, starting with the Subway Station, you don't need any Food that heals more than two HP as you will only have three remaining.

  • Drinks are especially usefull at the Hospital since those hallways seem to never end, so make sure to have at least one Mineral Water in your bag in case you run out of Stamina while being chased. Davespresso Coffee or Green Tea might be usefull but they do not last forever so keep that in mind.
The Endings

Ending A

To achieve Ending A you need to pick up three specific Items before the final confrontation with Vicious Sister.

Those three Items are the only requirements to successfully get the Good Ending, you can even try to finish the game with full permanent Health Dammage if you want to! (doing no crafting)
Remember to be carefull though because at one HP you get a direct game over if you get hit by anything that deplete your health, even Falling Bodies or Night Stalkers.

Ending B

As mentioned before, since the only Ending that needs specific conditions to be achived is Ending A, missing even one of the three required Items will automatically result to getting the Ending B.

1) First Item

The first item must be retrieved BEFORE leaving Songreung Subway Station, I would recomend using the time between accessing the subway and deactivating the alarms. There is a posibility of picking up the item AFTER leaving Sehwa Hospital but befofre speaking with Yaesol inside the Gymnasium as well.

This item isn't the object needed to defeat Vicious Sister, rather it gives access later on to a specific scene in which you will recieve the object you need.

To get this item you must return to the Dokkaebi Market after escaping it, preferably before leaving the subway station since it is easier then.

The item won't be available until you escaped the market so the best moment to pick it up is after unlocking the Control Center at the subway and going through the Wright Burrow in the Staff Lodging leading directly back to Dokkaebi Market.

If you chose to wait until the moment where you arrive at the Gymnasium, you must go back to Dokkaebi Market using the Wright Burrow there, afterwards, go back to the door used to first enter the Gymnasium in Hallway C near the Generator Room, it is now open again.

The item is found inside the Butcher's Shop at the top level of Dokkaebi Market.

The Item:

The item you need to pick up is the Spectral Incense belonging to Jang-Mi.

This Item allows you to save Chance, so he can give you the Blood Ruby:

2) Second Item

The second and third items can be found at the last location of the game.

To access the second item you need to enter the Wright Burrow in one of the old school's classroom, giving access to a room full of mismatched doors and runaway Shadows.

When entering this room, The Noteman will speak to you giving you a puzzle to get to the item.

Hint:

Skip the doors painted red when counting or it won't work

Solution:

Fourth door from the left then third door form the left then fifth door from the left always going back to the left of the room, and you will get to the morgue. Remember to skip the red-painted doors when counting

The Item:

The Second Item is the Holy Water Of Separation belonging to Father Minsu, found inside the Morgue.

3) Third Item

As far as I know, this item needs to be picked up in order to progress in the game, but there is a tricky puzzle to solve in order to get it.

When inside the old school, the ground floor leads you to a very long hallway where you need to hide in order to escape Dark Song and reach the end of it, with no possibility to run and an instant game over when getting caught.

After entering the next room, save quickly but don't move any further than the book before you are ready because a timed event will start in which you need to solve the puzzle in thirty seconds before Dark Song breaks through the door and kills you.

The clue to solve this puzzle can be found in one of the old classrooms before going to the ground floor.

Solution:

To solve the puzzle, light a Spectral Match betwen the doll and the shelf to reveal a concealed interraction similar to the hidden keys back in Dokkaebi Market.
1) Songreung Police Office

The only way to prevent Dark Song from giving Mina permanent Health Damage when escaping a location to access the next one (and to keep all five of her Health Points until the very end of the game) is to compleete all To Do Lists and craft all four of the Items, starting with the Taser at the Songreung Police Office.

Once you have picked up the Chief's Security Pass in the Chief's Office, you can unlock the Armory next to the Security Room before returning to Yaesol.

Inside the Armory, talk to the Shady Cop to start the To Do, then pick up the Grip at the end of the room.

To check out your progress with the To Do, press the RB button.

The Lithium Magazine can be found in the Criminal Investigation room.

To obtain the Replaceable Cartride, get the Officer's Badge in the Evidence Storage and return to the Armory to give it to the Shady Cop.

You can now craft the Taser. Remember to craft it before leaving for Dokkaebi Market.

2) Dokkaebi Market

The Dokkaebi Market crafting station is located inside the Hardware Store, however the Shadow you need to interract with in order to start the To Do is inside the Karaoke.

Once you've talke to the Hardware Store Owner, return to the Hardware Store and pick up the Box of Nails on the shelf.

The Fishing Line can be fout at Yongmee Seafood at the bottom of the map.

To get the Sticky Mouse Trap, go to the Woohyeok Bakery and pick up the Snapping Mouse Trap to make a trade with the Hardware Store Owner.

Once you have all three Items you can now craft the Caltrops.

3) Songreung Subway Station

After triggering the Fire Alarm, return to the Misterious Lady and talk to her to begin the To Do.

The Plastic Bottle is at the end of Exit 2.

The Coffee Filters are inside the Convenience Store.

Once you have unlocked the Control Center, you can pick up the Lipstick inside the Janitor Room and give it to the Misterious Lady to receive the Surgical Mask.

And now you're ready to craft the Gas Mask at the crafting station inside the Generator Room.

4) Sehwa Hospital

To start the To Do, go to the Daycare Center after unlocking The Ward and talk to the Shady Girl inside the room.

Go upstairs through the Boys' Bathrooms and pick up the Blood Pack inside the Operation Room.

Pick up the AA Batteries at the Convenience Store on the First Floor of the Medical Center.

You can use the Wright Burrows inside the Second Floor Girls' Bathrooms in The Ward as a shortcut to the Medical Center, then to the Funeral Hall.

Go to the Funeral Hall through the Wright Burrows, pick up the Teddy Bear inside room B101 and bring it to the Shady Girl to get the RC Car.

You can now craft the Mobile Decoy at the Daycare Center craft station.

Special Achievements And Secrets

The Urban Backpack: (+Entering the Headmaster's Office)

At Songreung Subway Station, once you have unlocked the Control Center, pick up the Crowbar inside the Janitor Room and unlock the Staff Lodging to access the Wright Burrow leading to Dokkaebi Market.

Once there, take the next Wright Burrow to Sehwa High and unlock the doors to access the first floor of the School.

Go to the Headmaster's Office and use the Crowbar to get inside. Pick up the Urban Backpack to get two more slots for consumables.

Youngho's Safehouse:

Thourough all of the different locations, Switches can be found. These Switches unlock the door to Youngho's Secret Bunker at Sehwa Hospital. To access it you must activate all of the Switches.

Full Permanent Health Damage:

To obtain all four Health Damage achievements, you must finish the game with one remaining HP by crafting none of the To Do Lists Items and getting harmed by Dark Song each time escaping.

This guide is honestly super underrated. It's really helpful for people who want to get all achievements and endings (like me) and it's basically the only guide that's written in easy to understand english. Thank you for this, seriously! :OkaySir:
