Brainless Meta AR Hacker Build

This is yet another brainless build that requires little to no skill to succeed with. People with more ears than braincells could make the game a walk in the park on the highest difficulty with this war crime of a setup. I don't take any responsibilty for kicks from lobbies.

Loadout

After Update 210 made this gun a beast straight out of a nightmare, making compatible builds has never been easier. This gun is a "great" addition to any build. I've decided to mod the Lion's Roar Rifle as such:

• Precision Barrel (DLC)
  
• The Bigger the Better Suppressor
  
• Accuracy Boost (+4)
  
• Compact Laser Module (DLC)
  
• Speculator Sight (This can be changed to any (-1) Concealment sight) (DLC)

Secondary is the 5/7 AP Pistol. The utility and great concealment it provides makes this exceptional handgun one of the best secondaries in this sacred game. Flash Hider equipped, and ready to one-tap headshot shields. This baby has been propped up with these attachments:

• Concealment Boost (+1)
  
• Micro Laser
  
• Extended Magazine

Melee will be the usual Buzzer (DLC) / Electrical Brass Knuckles

Since this is a Hacker build you should use the Pocket ECMs.


To keep our speed and dodge the Two Piece Suit is utilised.


We have 2 potential deployables you will be able to choose from. Available and fitting are First Aid Kits and Doctor Bags.

Skills

I made 2 main variations with both having an alternate route for deployables. First variation is a Hostage Taker aced build with 2 jokers and First Aid Kits / Doctor Bags. Second is a Sneaky Bastard aced with either FAKs or Doctor Bags. Although it is quite risky to play Hacker without HT or FAKs and to rely on your own skill and the PECMs' healing alone, I actually got some good games with the Doctor Bag Sneaky Bastard Combo. In my opinion it is worth a try if you know when to take cover and when to shoot.

Yet again, the choice is yours.

On the First Aid Kit Version you could change Shock and Awe basic to Quick Fix basic and Painkillers aced in the Mastermind tree and a 1 skill point skill like Equilibrium for example. Both options are great, but each has it's own benefits and playstyle. I went for Shock and Awe basic in the end.

Playstyle

As mentioned before being successful with the help of this build here isn't going to be a rare occasion. The Lion's Roar Rifle is an all around excellent assault rifle with good ammo pickup, outstanding damage and just as good stability and accuracy stats. The only real downside is the reload. No Speed Pull Magazine leads to longer reloads and longer reloads mean more time wasted loading boolets instead of shooting at pesky cops. With Hacker you can heal yourself and your teammates, gain dodge for some time and stun some cops. On paper it sounds good, but for it to work you also have to put in effort to do well. Hacker has always been a pretty high tier perk deck, so this combination of weapons and skills will make carrying pretty easy when you also have Hacker to work with. The Sneaky Bastard version is a bit more squishy than the Hostage Taker one. With FAKs you can place them to heal yourself back immediately instead of going down, Doctor Bags don't guarantee you this safety, instead they contribute more towards teamwork. The 5/7 AP Pistol is there to kill shields or when you get caught with your pants down (<- reloading, not having pulled out your primary, etc.) and have no other matter of fighting back. Ammo pickup on this handcannon isn't great, so watch where and what you're shooting.

Don't be afraid to take risks at times.

Thoughts and Last Words

The day I'm making this [5th of December, 2021] the Lion's Roar is still overpowered as ♥♥♥♥ and is for sure (currently) in the top 5 best weapons in PAYDAY 2, at least for me. This garbage shreds enemies like my grandma shreds cabbage on a Sunday morning. As I see it, OVERKILL just wants the players to have fun and go to town since PAYDAY 3 is in the making and PAYDAY 2 might die after its release. I prefer the Hostage Taker First Aid Kit build since it provides me the safety of FAKs, gives me the opportunity to get jokers to heal me in the background and also take the heat off me and my crew. The PECMs' healing and extra dodge also got me out of many sticky situations. All variations all playable on the highest difficulty available, that being Death Sentence with the One Down modifier. All in all, a very overpowered Primary, a great but balanced Secondary and an S-tier perk deck to carry you through most heists.

hvt is a skill you get aced or not at all, basic serves 0 purpose, shock and awe basic would be a lot more useful, or moving to the inspire tree to get qf basic faks and pk aced inspire
